Modern 2 Bed, 2 Bath Central Dublin Flat, 2 Blocks from Trinity College
About this condo rental
Nestled in Dublin, this charming condo for $192 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Please note that our cancellation policy is NOT correctly indicated on this website. We refund all monies paid, on a per night basis, for the cancelled nights that we re-rent. We also have refunded 100% of money received for corona virus cancellations and will continue to do so. We live in Florida, this is our Dublin home. We visit it every year. It is a modern flat (built in 2006) in a very well maintained building. We are 2 blocks from the entrance to Trinity College and you can walk to every major attraction in central Dublin from our flat. The building is located on a side street between Pearse Street and Townsend Street and boasts a roof garden which has views over the rooftops of much of Dublin. You enter into a wood floor hallway with 2.6 metre (8.5 feet) ceilings - it feels very spacious. All rooms are accessed via this entryway. There are 2 good size bedrooms. The master bedroom has an extremely comfortable USA king size bed with ample wardrobe and drawer space. The master bathroom (en suite) has a shower, toilet and wash basin. The second bedroom (quite large for a European second bedroom) has two large very comfortable single beds and ample wardrobe space. Upon request, these beds can be locked together and, with a topper, provide a second USA king size bed. There is a 35 Euro charge for this. The bedroom has access to the 'front' patio. The second bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination and is also quite spacious. The living room has a 42” LED flat screen TV, a Blu-ray DVD player and a stereo system. A comfortable sofa and an additional chair provides seating for 4 people. There is access to a 'back' patio which overlooks the courtyard. The dining area, with its leather chairs, accommodates 5 people. The kitchen is fully equipped to serve 6 people. It is a 'Bosch' kitchen with an electric oven, stove top and microwave oven. There is a powerful extraction fan over the stove top. The large frost free refrigerator and the dishwasher are 'built in'. There is a separate laundry room with a stacked Miele washer and dryer. There is free, high speed internet service for your ipads and laptops. SKY satellite TV delivers over 100 channels, several of which are international. There are two mobile phone available for your use. The 'fifth' person is accommodated via an air mattress in the living room. The flat is located on the first floor (second by North American definition) of the building. There is a lift (elevator). An intercom service from the flat to the front door allows for remote door opening. The Luas (tram) service (both the 'red' and the 'green' lines) are a 10 minute walk from the flat. The Dart train station is 2 minutes away. There are several pubs and restaurants within a 2 block walk of the flat and many more within a 4 block walk. Trinity College (home of the book of Kells) and Temple Bar (pubs) are both a 5 minute walk. Grafton Street (shopping) and St Stephen's Green are a 10 minute walk. A 15 - 20 minute walk will get you to the Dublin Castle, St Patrick's Cathedral, Christchurch Cathedral and the GPO building (famous for the 1916 rising). The Garden of Remembrance and the Guinness Factory are a 30 - 35 minutes walk. Within the flat building (on the ground floor) are several shops and offices, including a small supermarket which is open until 19:00. There is a large Tesco supermarket in Temple Bar - 4 blocks away. If you plan on renting a car to see the countryside (you do NOT want one in Dublin), please ask us for our recommendations. We also have a parking space in the basement, which is sometimes available at a 12 Euro per day charge, should you bring your car into the city. Please note that our pricing is in Euro. This website may reflect prices in your 'local' currency or in US dollars. These numbers are approximate and will change as the exchange rate changes.

This property is in a great location to explore Dublin. All locals told us we were in a perfect location. The flat was much larger than we expected, clean and well appointed. The photos don’t do it justice. The directions and details provided by the owner were perfect, bordering on too much. :) One reviewer commented on the road noise and it is somewhat loud, mainly due to a loose manhole cover that rattles when a car drives over. We wore headphones and our daughter used a white noise machine which made it a nonissue.
We also highly recommend Deli Gold which is downstairs for coffee and breakfast, the guys are friendly and remembered our order. O’Neill’s is a perfect pub, not a tourist trap and authentic food.

Booking, communication and support for this property were top notch both before and during our stay in the unit. Very well kept, clean and conveniently located near everything in Dublin. No issues of any kind and owner provides one of the best renter guides we have seen renting with VRBO or other. Would stay here again without hesitation.

This apartment is nice, spacious, very well-equipped, well maintained and comfortable. It is near public transportation, and it's easy to walk from it to main attractions. The owner is very attentive and responsive. It's well worth the stay.

Clean, well equipped, convenient, and the manager was responsive. However, we had no hot water and the property owner blamed us for trying to figure out how to solve it rather than contact him immediately - despite the repeated instructions in the (extremely lengthy) house instructions to assume he won’t be able to respond immediately. The apartment does NOT house four adults. The en suite bedroom has an adult sized bed. The second bedroom has children’s sized twin beds. The owner (again) lectured us that we must be wrong - but if a 5’8 adult can’t sleep because her legs are dangling off the end of the bed, there is a problem. The apartment is on a high traffic road so it was difficult to sleep - fixable only by playing loud white noise.

This property was conveniently located about 15 minute walk to Trinity College. It was close to several bus and train stops. The flat was clean, well maintained and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our visit and would stay there again.

Great location, clean and comfortable
Our family stayed here for about 3 weeks while visiting family in Dublin. The owners were great for answering all of questions and made sure we had all of the info we needed before we arrived. The location is ideal for getting around town without a car. You are a short walk to the city center, O’Connell Bridge, the IFSC, bus stops, and the Pearce St Dart station. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. It was pretty well stocked, but we did have to buy some more supplies (ie, toilet paper, laundry detergent) because only a small supply was left for us.
One warning, the hallways and main entrance smell heavily of cigarette smoke. You don’t smell it in the unit itself, but as soon as you leave the apartment or enter the building it hits you in the face.
Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend it.

Located in a quiet area (though there is construction going on outside one window, it didn't bother us) near multiple points of access around the city, the apartment was an ideal place to base ourselves from while attending a convention. We found any number of utensils and needful things around the apartment, and the directions -- which are extensive -- covered everything. The showers provided plenty of hot water and good pressure, and the washer/dryer kept our clothes clean. There was a bit of a learning curve on figuring out the locking system and the TV, but once we had the hang of things there were no problems. Don't miss the roof deck! It was a bit too cool for us to take part in it, but we did visit and saw some wonderful views of the city.

Perfect location in a comfortable apartment
This charming apartment was in the perfect location for us. We were two blocks from Trinity College. A short walk from other activities and restaurants. We had everything we needed and plenty of space. There was a book with recommendations for the neighborhood. The book also contains practical information about the apartment and appliances. David is an excellent host.

Great apartment
Great property. Good central location in Dublin. The owner supplies good information on how things in the apartment work. The only problem was we were never able to get anything on tv except Netflix, even with the directions. We checked in late and had some difficulty with the late check in process. But overall it was a great place. We certainly recommend it!

Great location and spacious
We were very happy with our stay overall, the apartment was spacious and well located. However, we found the check-in and information sharing process a bit overwhelming. The first night we did not receive the garage door opener for the parking as requested but they dropped it off the following morning so everything was quickly resolved. We also found the price high and but it seems that prices run high in Dublin.

Excellent Stay June 14-21 2019
Loved the apartment. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The separate washer and dryer was nice for us Americans who have problems with the combo units. The apartment is quite large for Dublin. The 4 of us had plenty of space. Good communication with David and Maria (who manages the apartment for David). The apartment is very centrally located. We walked everywhere. It is close to Pearse Station for rail service. Even though there's construction going on across the street, we hardly noticed it. Plus we were out during the day anyway. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Dublin. I hope I have the opportunity to use it again.

perfect location
well kept property with everything you need. the location is close to Temple Bar, Grafton and O'Connell streets. Easy to walk most places. I would definitely stay here again. David has everything organized so it took no time to get acclimated.

Ongoing construction just across the street from the unit. Constant noise during the day after 7 am.
Property was ok, but parking should have been included! Also, I was not told there was an ongoing construction project across the street from the unit. This wouldn’t allow you to sleep in during the morning.

Great family vacation
Really great flat for a family of 5- accommodations were clean, well kept and close to the most attractions. We received regular communication prior to our visit which was greatly appreciated.

Great location and property!
We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. It was very conveniently located to all of the Temple Bar and Dublin downtown night life. The flat was clean and ready for us, and the owner was very responsive when I had a question at check in. He provided very complete instructions on all aspects on his website and in the "flat book" at the property, to the degree we knew exactly his expectations and had great information to inform our stay. Overall we have a fabulous stay and I would highly recommend this property and owner for future stays!

Great apartment in a great location.
The three of us found this apartment was in a great location to visit all the attractions of Dublin but in a quiet neighbourhood. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The space is very nicely decorated and everything works as expected. Before we arrived the owner provided us with comprehensive information about the apartment.

Property was very nice, clean, and spacious. Loved the location; we were able to see fireworks and light show from our window.

Very comfortable & fully equipped, great location with a rooftop garden
This is exactly why I use VRBO. The apartment was quite comfortable, well-appointed (heated bathroom floor and towel racks, nice views of the quiet garden), a great place to return to. Right near the river just off Pearse, a great location near museums and Trinity. Just far enough away from Temple Bar. And a magic rooftop garden. I will stay here again on subsequent visits (there is much to see in this great city)!

Our stay could not have been any better.
The location of this flat allowed us easy walking to many of Dublins attractions, sites and of course pubs. Easy access to a bus trip to Galloway and the Dart train to the coast. The flat has all anyone would need for a comfortably stay and very good building security.

My family of three adults and two children stayed an extended weekend in this flat, and were able to walk easily to the Temple Bar area, as well as across the Liffey. It is also well located for the buses and supermarkets. Furnishings are comfortable, clean and well-maintained; the kitchen is well-equipped. The property owner is responsive and helpful.
