About this condo rental
Located in South Forest Beach, this charming condo for $294 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Enjoy outstanding daytime ocean views and sunrises and ultra-clear bright starlit nights right from the deck of this beautifully maintained beach condo. This is full direct and up close 180-degree view of the entire beach and ocean (not a side or distant view). Ocean Dunes is close enough to Coligny Circle to enjoy all the action, shops, and restaurants this area is known for without getting in a car, yet far enough away to enjoy a the quite sounds of the ocean. Forest Beach is a very bike friendly community. The unit includes 2 free bikes so you can travel all over the island or up and down the beach. The resort has an outdoor ocean front heated pool, laundry room on each floor and an elevator. There are outdoor grills and a beach cabana with restroom facilities, which means you don't have to run back to the room. The unit has a full kitchen and adjoining Living/Dining area, two full baths and a balcony and comes with two bicycles. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Fully furnished, air conditioned and heated with telephone, free WiFi Internet and flat screen TVs with Cable service and Free Netflix in each room. Enjoy food and drinks at Hilton's poolside ocean front bar and grill located at the Hilton Ocean Oaks directly adjoining our resort and just a few steps from our unit. There is plenty of free parking in our gated lot just in front of the building. Our Ocean Front heated pool is open year round Covid-19 Update - Our Pledge to fight the spread of Covid-19 at 309 Ocean Dunes Villas. We recognize the fear that Covid-19 has diminished significantly, but we want to be sure we are continuing to our due diligence to be part of the ongoing solution and have taken the Path Forward Pledge to help protect our guests and their families during their stay. Here is what we are doing. 1. We will not check in any guest that has contracted Covid-19 or exhibited any symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days unless a follow up test has provided negative results, with reminder letter going out just prior to each check in. 2. Our housekeepers have been advised of the CDC recommended guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting and have been asked to abide by those guidelines. 3. We have increased our frequency of deep cleanings to a monthly regimen which includes a detailed sterilization of all surfaces and laundering of bedspreads, blankets and upholstered cushion covers 4. A hand sanitizer dispenser has been installed at the entrance to our unit. All guests and service personnel are asked to utilize it before entering the unit. 5. In order to assist our guests with the task of keeping your living quarters “Covid-Free” during your stay, we have stocked a cabinet with several sterilizing products, to be used at your discretion, should any guest desire to supplement the cleaning service provided between stays. The following are provided: a. Sterilizing wipes – A fast convenient way to wipe down any surface in the condo. b. Bleach Cleaner – Good for any hard surface and can be used on the two white fabric rocker glider chairs as well. c. Lysol Spray – Can be used for disinfecting the general airspace of any room. d. Sanitizing Surface Spray – Great for counter/table surfaces & metal such as doorknobs, appliance/cabinet handles and switches e. FaBreze – Provides no disinfecting properties but will freshen up all cloth surfaces. f. Laundry Detergent - Should a guest feel compelled to wash the linen during their stay, there are washing machines. We have provided laundry soap. 6. We have installed virus eliminating air filtration systems within the unit. 7. Contactless check in service is available upon request. 8. If any guest should exhibit any symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay in Hilton Head, we are asking them to advise us immediately, so we can take remediation actions and advise future guests. And providing information on the nearest Covid- 19 testing center which is Hilton Head Hospital at 25 Hospital Center Blvd. Hilton Head SC 29926 (833) 383-3744 or, in the alternative, General Hospital, Beaufort, SC (877) 532-6472.

We took a long weekend 11/3-11/6. Great weather and overall, a really pleasant stay. Location was perfect to enjoy sunrises. Our only "wish" is that the bikes would be in a little better shape. One of the cool aspects of the location is being able to ride bikes on the compacted sand of the beach. A pleasant ride was made a little more laborious with bikes that were a little a bit worn. Aside from that, zero complaints.

The location was perfect, the view of the beach and ocean was amazing from the the deck. The facility was clean and beautiful. The property itself was spotless and fabulous, very cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect vacation spot. We will definitely be returning to this place again!!

We have stayed at this property several times. It is in a great location and has a great view. Great for kids with a TV in the second bedroom for them to fall asleep to at the end of a long day.

Booking, checking in and checking out were all very simple and easy. The location of this unit was great. The view was amazing and the unit was closer to the beach than anticipated. We even saw dolphins several times!
We appreciated the gated resort and that there were codes needed to enter the resort and use the pool and cabana bathrooms. The green gate was hard to operate and it seemed like the push bottons may have not been working properly. The men's cabana bathroom code did not work, so everyone had to use the ladies. Our kids enjoyed the pool area and we swam several times. We only had trouble locating chairs one time. It was nice having access to the Ocean Oak bathrooms and tiki bar/grill. We purchased drinks and lunch a couple of times. The unit was stocked with all the kitchen supplies needed and the appliances were up to date. We liked the coffee pot so well, we bought one for our home. We were disappointed that the unit had a mildew smell that was quite strong upon check-in. We aired out the unit on a cool day but the bedrooms seemed to hold the smell. Also, we would suggest the cleaning company scrub around the perimeter of the bathroom floors and maybe use some bleach spray on the corners of the showers/shower curtains to rid them of mildew. Our kids were excited to see and use the sand toys and boogie boards provided. It was also nice to have beach chairs and bikes to use during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for clothes.

What a perfect property for a nice getaway for me and my wife. Ocean front, with a great view of the property in the ocean as well as a convenient back covered porch to sit listening to the waves in the evening. Everything was clean and functioning, and I would definitely recommend this rental.

This property was very clean and offered amazing views of the ocean from the third floor. We spent a lot of time in the pool. The neighborhood was very safe and everyone we met who were also staying in the condo were very friendly. Also great proximity to the Coligny circle where there are many shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

From start to finish, everything about renting this property was easy, which made for a good vacation. Booking the property was easy, paying for the rental was easy and spread out according, check-in was easy and they reached out to us to be sure we were going to be on time and arranged for after hours check-in because because traffic didn’t allow for us to be on time.

Very nice building, well maintained. The unit was very nicely furnished and very comfortable. The owners have pretty much thought of everything you'll need for a beach vacation (bikes, beach chairs, etc.) plus plenty of charging ports for your technology. I even found the bicycle pump on the last day. Ocean view, as advertised, close to Coligny beach and plenty of restaurants. We will definitely try to stay here again if we're back on HHI.

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Dunes recently. The host and property management company were very easy to deal, even with us arriving after their normal hours and leaving very early in the morning, prior to their offices being open. Great condo, fully furnished, lots of space, with the most amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean. Would definitely go back next year, but for 2-3 weeks! Thanks Rick and Michelle, you're the best : )

When we arrived the elevator was not working…that put a damper on our stay. After 2 days it finally was fixed. Condo has awesome beach view! The bathrooms are dated but all in all we enjoyed our stay

Enjoyed our stay overall. However, did not like that during our moving in, we came around the corner to the unit to find the maintenance man coming out of unit with a woman. He said they weren't sure if we received both keys.??? Then a few days later, 2 men knocked at the door asking to come in because owner downstairs said there was water coming into their unit from upstairs. Men wanted to see if it was our hot water tank. There was no phone call to us and they had no identification. I let 1 in because they were both older and I, sadly, figured I could subdue one of them if he tried anything. I did see him when returning our keys to Vacation Time. He said they did not have a phone number to the unit.??

The location was perfect and the unit just as described. With questionable weather on the way, Rick stayed in touch to keep us informed and updated. It was our first time at Hilton Head Island and it was Amazing!!!

The property had everything you could want. Bicycles were included and it was nice to use them on the beach. Sand chairs to use and we had our own umbrella but we did see one on our 3rd day there. The bedroom air conditioner broke over our first night but the owner was quick to act and replaced the 2 year old unit with a new one . Took a few days but labor shortages abound everywhere.
We liked our first visit to Hilton Head the good food, and warm water.

This condo has the perfect location, is tastefully decorated and has an amazing view of the beach!!
It was perfect for two adults and two kids. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Being in walking distance of local restaurants was great. The stretch of beach right in front of the complex wasn’t over crowded like some areas. On a couple of cloudy evenings we availed of the pool which was very well maintained.
We had a fantastic week and would definitely stay here again!

I stayed one week here with my three teenage/college age kids. While a small apartment, it was clean and nicely decorated. The location was perfect, walking distance to Coligny and many restaurants and shops (we loved the Sand Bar). The best part of this apartment is the gorgeous view of the ocean and pool. We all spent a lot of time on the balcony and I took multiple naps out there with a glass of wine and the lovely sea breeze. The only thing I wish I had was a laundry basket to transfer our clothes to the washer/dryer, but it was not too far!

Spring break
We had a hiccup checking in where the rental company stated the owner never informed them of us coming and the unit wasn’t cleaned. Not something you want to hear after being on the road all day. Ended up being fine and was told room was clean and ready an hour early.
When we showed up the unit it beautiful, well stocked and great views. When we went on the balcony I guess housekeeping forgot the balcony it was filthy and covered in sand on all the furniture and beach chairs.
The unit doesn’t have central air just room air conditioners which the master didn’t seem to cool very well during the night well and with no fans in the rooms it did get stuffy. Given outside was cooler than inside I don’t know how summer will go with the heat. The living room and spare bedroom were comfortable though.
The multiple reviews of 5 tv remotes was accurate and even with instructions we couldn’t get the dvd to work in the living room which was disappointing as we got stuck inside with a storm. Even with instructions it’s still a challenge just to get cable and basics to work.
Parking was easy and accessible and Hilton head is beautiful.
