It offered a good, standard German hotel breakfast. Lots of options. It met our expectations. The rooms were somewhat small, but sufficient for our needs.

Close to train station and town

Really well situated, by the railways station. Only 20 minutes' walk into the centre of town or 2 minutes to the bus stops.
The room was tiny. Uncomfortably small. I'd booked a room for two, and we each had one case (normal sized cases). It was almost impossible to squeeze them into the room, and once we'd found ways to squash them into corners, we were constantly tripping over things in the little space that was left. I've stayed in cheaper one person rooms which have been significantly larger.
My partner often finds herself cold when sleeping, so we asked - upon arrival and seeing the room - whether we could have an extra blanket. The staff were pleasant and agreed, but didn't bring one. Later, after returning from town, I asked again. They told me they couldn't, because there'd been an issue with a flight and they had to accommodate a number of people at short notice. I asked when they'd heard about this and they said "20 minutes ago".
In other words, they told me that other people took precedence over our request.
Had they simply said in the first place "sorry, we don't do extra blankets", we'd have known where we stood. As it was, it just felt like they didn't feel we were important enough.
