The view is spectacular and the place was very clean.
Our stay at Paros Comfy Suites was a mix of beautiful surroundings and disappointing service.
Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving earlier than expected and asked if we could store our luggage or, if possible, access our room early. They responded promptly, saying they could store our bags and would notify us when the room was ready. However, check-in time came and went at 3:00 p.m., and I never received any notification. Around 3:05 p.m., I emailed again and was simply told they had been busy but that our room was ready.
One of our biggest disappointments was discovering that the hotel’s restaurant was completely closed during our stay. Other than the complimentary breakfast, there was no option to purchase food or drinks on-site. Because the hotel is in a fairly remote location, this was a significant inconvenience. The restaurant was prominently advertised as part of the experience and highlighted as a great place to dine, so finding it closed without prior notice was frustrating. We were offered 30% of a dining experience at a sister hotel. However, we chose this location for an all inclusive feel.
The beach itself is absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of the property. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very usable. There was a large accumulation of trash in the water on one side of the beach, while the other side had posted warnings about sea urchins, making swimming difficult.
Breakfast service was another disappointment. On our first morning, the male and female servers took our order and then spent most of the meal sitting at the bar on their phones while appearing to have a loud personal disagreement. They never checked on us, and several times we had to get up ourselves and ask the coffee barista for assistance because no one else was paying attention to the dining room.
After breakfast, I spoke with the receptionist because I really liked the facial cream samples provided in our room.
