Located in Seabrook Island, this attractive house for $445 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. 546 Tarpon Pond Come relax on Seabrook Island's 3-1/2 miles of pristine, white sand beach, just 23 miles south of historic Charleston, SC! Enjoy watching the dolphin, riding the waves, building sand castles or relaxing with a good book on this uncrowded beach. Seabrook is a family friendly island - perfect for a relaxing vacation for everyone. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom Tarpon Pond Cottage has been extensively remodeled. The fabulous kitchen has been opened up with new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and more. It is stunning. The living area features plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy a meal together or gather around for a movie after a day at the beach. The living area has just been extended with the addition of an all-season room. Abundant windows allow sunlight to brighten this cottage and panoramic views of the 17th hole of Ocean Winds and the marsh beyond. There is a gas grill for your use and a deck just off this new room for lounging. The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV and adjoining full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Another queen bed is in the third bedroom. A full bathroom is between these two bedrooms. There is also a full sized washer/dryer. Upstairs is the loft bedroom with two twin trundle beds. Another full bathroom with a shower is in the loft. *Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes. Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge. Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment. Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply. THIS PROPERTY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 3 GATE PASSES TOTAL Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive. This cottage is located .8 miles from Pelican Beach and 1.2 miles from the Beach Club pools, Island House restaurants/bars, and golf. Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club, are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. This cottage is also dog friendly. Up to (1) dog under 40 pounds or (2) if under 10 pounds each - Additional pet fees apply. Come relax with friends and family on Seabrook Island! Once you're here - you aren't going to want to leave! Cancellation Policy: If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have. For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement. SI Business License 2023-1140

The property was clean and well supplied with everything needed for a nice getaway. The beds while not new were reasonably comfortable. We all fell in love with the sunroom spending most of our time there absorbing the view of the golf course and marsh. Seabrook Island is so peaceful and serene, very relaxing. The swimming pools were fun and comfortable and we enjoyed dining in the pool and resort dining facilities. Close enough to the pool and ocean to ride a bike there from the condo.

This is a great property, with plenty of room for our 3-generation family of 8. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels for all. It was clean and comfortable and just a short 5-minute drive to the beach or pool. We loved it here!

The cottage was great! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The sunroom was our favorite. We spent a lot of time in that room. The mattresses in the bedrooms were ok. We also enjoyed the Amenities card which gave us access to the beach club. The beach club was very nice. I thought we were going to have access to the bikes at the residence but the code to the building was marked out. I should have reached out to the rental company to check on that but I didn’t. Overall it was a great place to stay and we look forward to coming back again.

Seabrook is absolutely amazing! This Cottage is a good location and is a great value for the money. The house will comfortably sleep a large family and has several eating and lounging areas. However, the beds are not super comfortable and the cottage is in need of a deep cleaning. Overall I would recommend!

Location is perfect, and the house itself is lovely. The setup of the rooms worked out perfectly for our family as well. However, a couple of things needed to be addressed. The upstairs loft area with twin beds needed a change of sheets as we found small dead bugs, we guessed that those beds hadn’t been used in awhile. The washer machine smelled musky and after doing a load of laundry, our clothes did too. The front loader door needs to be kept open but the location of the machine doesnt lend itself to that. And lastly, we had planned on using the barbecue but were unable bc it was very dirty and would have been time consuming to clean it properly. Overall, great property, and these things could easily be addressed.

Family vacation
Overall, we enjoyed this property. Our only Complaint was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable. There were five of us staying there and we were all unhappy with the mattresses, but it bothered my husband the most because he has a bad back. By the end of the week he could barely walk. For that reason, we would not rent this specific property again. The rest of the house was wonderful.

The house was wonderful. Our favorite and most used room was the sunroom. We used the bikes, the grill, the beach equipment, it had everything we needed. We had great communication with Coastal Getaways, they were very helpful and quick to respond. It was a wonderful family vacation and we hope to come back again and again.

Perfect Space for My Whole Family
Me, my husband, my 6 month old daughter, and my immediate family members stayed in this cottage for 4 nights. It was the perfect amount of space for the price, so everyone was comfortable. The check-in process is very detailed and tedious since it's a private island, but they gave us all the information beforehand that we needed to do everything successfully. The island was beautiful- my biggest complaint was that most of the places to eat lunch and buy drinks by the pool were shut down (which I didn't think to ask about beforehand) but it was still a nice visit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I wish we had booked a longer visit!

This was a fantastic rental. It had everything under the sun that you would need to make a great vacation. The sunroom was wonderful; like the other reviews, we spent most of our time in there.

Awesome stay!
This house was just as it appeared in the pictures. The back sunroom was great and we spent the most time out here, drinking coffee, reading books and playing games. The kitchen was very well stocked! It had everything we needed an more. Bikes came with the rental and it was a short ride to the beach. Having access to the beach club was very nice as they had lounge chairs to relax in so you could literally ride to the beach and relax. I would highly recommend this rental.

House quite nice and clean, main level of the house has everything you need for a vacation home. Bikes, gas grill, view of the 17th hole on Crooky golf course, 2 car carport front and side porch. Small kitchen but well equipped and quite nice. Alot of steps into the house but that was very visible online but the location and house was well worth it. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Vacation get away
This was a nice little house on Seabrook, which worked well for our vacation get-away. It’s not far from the golf course and beaches. The unit was generally clean, but dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher. We contacted the management and they were apologetic and brought us a bottle of wine to make up for our trouble. Nice space for the two of us. Also a pet-friendly rental, which was important to us.

We had a great time. It is a beautiful community and the best time we have had on a beach in years. We have been used to overcrowded beaches where it is hard to play and have fun. We had a great time and the shore fishing was awesome.

Overall it was just as billed. The kitchen was a tad small for the size of the property, and we couldn't find a remote for the DVD player (no instructions for any electronics except WiFi). Seabrook Island Road desperately needs sidewalks, but you can't do anything about that. Overall, I would definitly recommend the area. We had a terrific time.
