Additional small appliances and amenities include cookware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, kitchen table with two chairs, and a rug. Dishes, cups, cutlery, and coffee filters are provided. Guests have exclusive use of the private patio behind the cottage, but do not have access to the main patio (owner's usage only).

The cottage is located next to picturesque garden which is maintained by the owner. The cottage has a private patio behind the cottage (main patio is for owners only) and includes street parking. It is located in Menlo Park just blocks from University Avenue in Palo Alto and is very convenient to Stanford University. The cottage is close to bus lines and 1.5 miles away from the Palo Alto CalTrain. There is a grocery store and coffee shop within two blocks of the cottage.
