About this villa rental
Come stay in your very own 'home away from home!' This two-story, fully furnished villa sits eight steps from the pool and 150 yards from the beach. It's a bright, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and skylights.The deck and screened-in porch have a great view of the pool. The recreation area includes the pool (heated March, April, October, and November), kiddie pool, and hot tub. The villa has a large Master bedroom with a king-size bed and a newly-renovated executive bathroom, with shower and soaker tub. One of the upstairs rooms has a 2 queen beds and a full bath. The other has a king-size bed and a full bath. There is also a pack-n-play and stroller, as well as an additional half bath on the main level. In addition to having the pool and beach so close, Palmetto Dunes offers much more. The resort has Pickleball, tennis, three 18-hole PGA golf courses by designers Fazio, RT Jones, and Arthur Hills. Within the resort are several miles of paved leisure trail for walkers, joggers, and cyclists. There is also an 11-mile inter-connected lagoon system that can be used for fishing, boating, kayaking or to view wildlife native to the island. Just outside Palmetto Dunes is the Shelter Cove Marina and shopping mall, a great place to shop, dine, or enjoy a drink and take in some live entertainment. Palmetto Dunes has a great transportation system, the Palmetto Dunes Buggy. This free service will pick up and drop off anyone staying in the resort anywhere in Palmetto Dunes or Shelter Cove. We've stayed here two years in a row and will definitely be back. Location is perfect at end of the street adjacent to the pool and a short walk to the beach.

We had 5 adults and two children during our week at Hilton Head in this spacious villa! Beach is so close, easy walk. So much Pickleball just down the street and we played 5 days out of 6. Great villa! We had a wonderful trip to Hilton Head.

6 Adults and 1 toddler with plenty of space for everyone. The 3 Bed and 4 Bath worked out perfect for our group! The screened porch was an added bonus, it cooled down at night so we could enjoy the outside space with no bugs. The townhome is literally right next to the community pool (never croweded)! The walk to the beach was easy and shaded most of the way. The owners communicated ASAP at all times. If you're traveling with a little one they have a portacrib, highchair and stroller on site. Would totally book this again!!

The unit was perfect for our family. The unit is located next to pool which was perfect. We’ve been coming to HHI, specifically Palmetto Dunes and this unit does not disappoint.

Beautiful condo. We celebrated a 60th and 30th birthdays Two wedding anniversaries, 37 years and 7 years. The property is beautiful. Walked everyday. Loved that the pool was just outside the back door. The beach is just steps away. Deb is a wonderful host. I highly recommend this villa.

This property is great. Very spacious. Nice location at the back of Palmetto Dunes. Very quiet. We loved the screened porch! Short walk to the beach and just steps to the swimming pool.

We had a very enjoyable winter get-away at Deb and Tom's Huntington condo.
Nicely decorated with updated baths and kitchen appliances. Layout worked really well for extended family. Screened porch was great since the weather was unseasonably warm. Location was in a quiet area a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Importantly, Deb was very easy to interact with: she answered our questions almost immediately.

This is strictly a rental unit. Kind of run down. We had three families staying with us for a family vacation. Bathroom upstairs had the water turned off so bathroom shower was not usable. Kitchen was not stocked that well for cooking. The pool location was nice. The beach is farther than led to believe. We had three young children with us so we went and bought a wagon for the daily trek to the beach. Very surprised to find this unit has no smoke detectors anywhere in the villa. The outside light didn’t work 99% of the time. Walking to and from car to unload was difficult without lighting. The parking Pass for our cars was supposed to be$10.00 each. They charged $25.00 per car. I would look twice before renting this villa.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the games that were available to play in the evening. The screened in porch was great with the baby as a confined area and plenty of room for all of us. Loved the closed proximity to the pool and beach. Hopefully we will be back!! Thanks for sharing your home.

Location of this property was perfect! Loved that it was at the back of Palmetto Dunes, so very private. Lots of trees for shade, we spent so much time on screened in porch. The pool was right there, a path from the back door! Beach was a short walk. We really loved our week away!

Information from owner said the fee for vehicle parking permits was $10 per vehicle. They were $25. Information also said condo was 150 yards from beach. Also untrue. Public access to the beach was at least 5 times that. We arrived at property shortly after check-in time and had to wait over 30 minutes for the cleaning service to finish. The floors, bathrooms, linens, beds, etc. were clean but the rest of the condo is in need of a deep cleaning. The screened porch would have been nice except for an accumulation of dirt on boards framing the screen and in corners. Lighting in many areas of the property was very poor, especially in the vanity area of the master bath. There was not enough light in that area for me to shave or my wife to apply makeup. I tried changing bulbs and tried multiple light switches and nothing worked. 2 positives were good beds and closeness of the pool. Pool was nice. 2 suggestions: be honest with information about the property and give it a good deep clean periodically. Also improve the lighting, especially in the master bath. Nice kitchen and and well equipped. Attractive property with great potential, but needs some serious TLC.

Location of this property was perfect! Loved that it was at the back of Palmetto Dunes, so very private. Lots of trees for shade, we spent so much time on screened in porch. The pool was right there, a path from the back door! Beach was a short walk. We really loved our week away!

Information from owner said the fee for vehicle parking permits was $10 per vehicle. They were $25. Information also said condo was 150 yards from beach. Also untrue. We really enjoyed our stay in hilton head over the new year holiday, with our 6 year old twins! Debra answered our pre-trip questions very quickly. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking our meals. The location was great. We spent our days biking all over the island (lots of trails and the beach too!). We spent evenings enjoying the community hot tub that was 10yds from the back door (only saw others in it once). Agree with others that the place could use a deep cleaning but felt safe in the house and on the island as everyone kept their distance and wore masks.

Hilton head stay
We really enjoyed this property! The beach was extremely close, we were able to walk there easily with younger children. The property was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The pool and hot tub area were great and right outside the door. Bike rentals were also close by and very easy. The owner was responsive and proactive to make sure our arrival was easy. We would definitely stay again and again!

GREAT STAY!
This is an awesome property! I went by myself for a getaway and had a wonderful relaxing time. I felt safe and did not worry about being alone. The pool was amazing and right out the back door. The beach is just a short walk and was not crowded at all this time of year. I would definately stay here again.
