The property that we stay at was very comfortable and close to quite a few places, mostly in walking distance. If I had any question, all I had to do was send a quick email to the host and his response was very quick. The property had everything we needed for our stay. If I go back to Meaford again would definitely stay here again.

Charming older house, nicely renovated. Worked very well for our family. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked - appliances, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds were very comfortable!

While this quaint cottage boasts many nice features such as the sizeable kitchen and outdoor area, closer inspection on the condition of the home leaves a lot to be desired. From the moment we checked in the home had a very musty smell and felt very damp. Closer inspection revealed some serious moisture and mold issues in the downstairs bathroom. Even the furniture in the living room felt and smelt musty and damp. A dehumidifier and some mold removal are a must. Sitting outside on the back patio was nice, but you do need a great amount of strength the open the back door. We also couldn’t leave the door open as the storm door had holes in the screen and with the many mosquitoes around they would have filled the house. The air conditioner for the upstairs bedroom was appreciated, but it does drip onto the deck below, careful where you sit. The general cleanliness of the place was good. The beds were comfy and linens were fresh, but like I said closer inspection revealed there is a little more going on with this property that needs some attention. We were glad our stay was only two nights.
