About this house rental
Nestled in Point Loma, this charming house for $451 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. CLEANING/SAFETY UPDATE: This home is professionally cleaned, immediately after every stay. We also put a minimum 2 day block of vacancy between every stay. You check in and out without any human contact. The house is a safe distance from any walkway, parking or passers by. Cleaning products, disinfectant, wipes are provided on site for guests to use. When you rent this property, you rent the WHOLE property. Not a room or part of it and no one lives onsite. You and your guests will be the ONLY ones there. (you should check other property listings, because sometimes, this isn't the case). This includes a fully stocked kitchen, 3 outside decks, big/empty closets to put your stuff away. You will enjoy the benefit that everything you need (other than food and drink) are provided. All condiments, cooking oils, utensils, napkins, trash bags, appliances for the kitchen. Soap, shampoos for the bathrooms. Cleaning products also. This is my families summer/vacation home. Built in 1940 and remodeled in 2016 It has classic lines and a simple, yet open layout and feel. Everything in the house works and is in great shape. There are 3 large bedrooms, with King and Queen beds to sleep 6 adults. There is a big blowup bed for 2 additional children or teenagers, with sheets, pillows.. Just up from Liberty Station. 6 blocks up the hill with great views of the Bay and City. Easy access to the Airport. Only a 5-10 minute car/Uber ride to: Pacific and Mission Beach Coronado Downtown,/Gas Lamp District Petco Park (Padres) Old Town Sea World Convention Center Airport Total privacy and safe. Wide street. Easy, free parking on both sides of the street with no HOA. Right down the street from a school, so monitored by SD Police. 3 big bedrooms. 1 king and 2 queens. 3 bathrooms. 2 showers and a big tub. Huge front deck patio with fire table, heaters and party lights. Roof Deck just added for unbelievable views of San Diego Bay. Access by new spiral staircase and take in the views during the day or stunning night surroundings. Sleeps up to 6 in the bedrooms and a blow up bed for 1-2 kids. Huge back, private patio with seating for 12. Heaters and gas grill for your use. Custom Kitchen with all the amenities. Central AC (2 units) and Gas Heat. Unlimited Hot Water. Wireless Hi Speed Internet and Wireless Printer DVD and HD TV's with Movie Channels Amazon Fire Sticks in all TV's. Amazon Alexas in all bedrooms. Full size Washer and Dryer. NOTE: There are no Cameras inside this property. Also, this is our 2nd home, so there is very little in the way of personal items in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Plenty of room in the closets for your items. However the kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked with items you will need during your stay. Once you Book, you will receive documents with information on: The house, the area, the attractions, the house technology, what to bring and is included (and what isn't). I also can make recommendations for the area for restaurants, attractions, etc...Just ask! HOWEVER, TAKE NOTE: This is not an All Night party house. Please do not rent this house if you are planning on having loud, late night parties with lots of people. While there is plenty of room for a party, it should move inside by 11 pm and under 10 people. Excessive noise, drinking, trash and late nights are not encouraged or tolerated. Also, most (if not all) of Point Loma and Coronado are affected by airport or military aircraft noise. There are very few places in these areas that don't have some airport noise. This house gets very little military aircraft noise. However, it does get commercial aircraft noise from the hours of 6.30 am to 11.30 pm. Sometimes, those jets may turn north and then the house gets little noise. 95% of the time, the house is in the area of takeoffs, not landings, which is much quieter. Some guests have actually commented in their 5 star reviews that they enjoyed the new roof deck, at night, to watch the planes take off from the airport. T8ku7

We love San Diego and visit often. This house was perfect for our family. A few things to note, there are a lot of stairs to get into the house and street only parking was challenging on school days (High school kids parking on the street and walking to school as well as at pick up time for the elementary school). We couldn't park when we first arrived since it was carpool time. Weekends were not an issue. Beds were cozy as were the outside spaces. I know plane noise is mentioned in the description and it does effect hanging outside and chatting with your guests. You won't find a house better stocked then Eric's! He has signs explaining everything and you will not need to purchase any supplies for a short stay. Overall we were very pleased with our stay!

I can’t recommend this location enough! It has plenty of space, close enough to downtown, but far enough away to where you don’t have to deal with the noise that comes with staying in a major city. The host was amazing and Eric made sure to feel us welcome, but also made himself available for any questions

Loved the huge deck above the garage, the stargazing deck on the roof, and the beautiful backyard. Got used to plane noise after a few days. House is loaded with everything you'd need including lots of games. Location is close to everything. Don't miss the Sunday farmers market at point Loma high school which is just a few minutes walk!

This house was close to everything; Liberty Station, Mission Beach, La Jolla Cove, Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, Sea World, Old, Town, Coronado, and much more. It was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed and more. Eric was available when needed by text and was a great host. As others mentioned, the planes at 6:30am were a great alarm clock, but with so much to do, who can sleep in??

This was absolutely perfect for our visit to San Diego. Just minutes away from the Zoo, Safari Park, Sea World, beaches and more. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic size for our family of 5 adults. Between well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, two patios, large living room it had all the amenities. We also appreciated how close it was to Liberty Square -- we walked there numerous time for shopping, dining or running. The airplane noise can be intense some evenings -- luckily for us that only happened the first night we were there. Eric was incredibly responsive to all our questions and very accommodating about early check-in. Overall very highly recommended and we will look for this property again on any return trips to San Diego. It's an amazing city!

First of all, Eric was a great host, very accessible and helpful. I have not experienced anyone better. The layout of the house was great and it was well supplied. The outdoor spaces were amazing, both front and back. Great location to access anything you wanted. Liberty Station has really grown and we made several trips to explore and eat. We all agreed that we would rent it again!

This house was a perfect stay for the 6 adults in San Diego for our daughter's graduation. Eric allowed us to have a graduation celebration there and the back patio was awesome and easily accommodated 15 people. Eric was a superb host and always accessible through text.

Pt. Loma get-away weekend
Property was located in nice neighborhood a few streets from the stores and restaurants of Liberty Station. Lots of outdoor space both in front and back of house including a rooftop desk with a straight view of the airport runway and the downtown skyline. There were plenty of household supplies and kitchen utensils. We lacked for nothing at all. The host was very responsive and pleasant. The only negative was being in the flight path of planes departing from San Diego airport.

The pictures don’t do it justice. It is such an incredible home in a great location. We absolutely loved the outdoor spaces with the incredible views, the open concept kitchen that flows into the living area and the bar, and the spacious rooms. Eric was also very communicative and accommodating. We would love to stay there again!

Fantastic property with views for days, multiple unique seating options both inside and outdoors, in a well maintained home perfect for a large family or group of friends. Point Loma location is great for those wanting to gather with adult friends...quiet neighborhood of friendly, respectful people. Fantastic opportunity for plane spotters to see the departures roar past from SAN as well! Will absolutely be back. Host was very helpful and flexible, and made our last-minute booking seamless. I cannot recommend this home and this host enough.

Fabulous Stay
We all loved staying at this property for our Thanksgiving family reunion. The house is perfectly situated in now one of my favorite areas of San Diego, Point Loma. The house itself was big enough for the 4 of us staying there and then hosting my parents and sister for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the views from the front deck and roof, but my favorite spot was sitting in the backyard listening to the birds and enjoying the cool breeze. The kitchen was well equipped and large enough for two cooks in the kitchen. Eric was available when I had questions and provided quick response. Everyone in my family was super happy with the house, even my little min pin loved the stay. He was all smiles laying in the backyard sun and getting his daily walks through the beautiful neighborhood. I got to discover and appreciate OB, a quick drive from the house. Dog Beach was a hit with everyone. Overall I’m so happy to have found Eric’s beautiful home and share it with my loved ones.

I loveeee soaking tubs and huge 'rainfall' type showers, so the variety was quite special. Just a perfect stay. I'm already thinking of when I can come back. :)
