About this apartment rental
Plantation Village Beach Resort is a great location on the south end of Seven Mile Beach minutes from town and walking distance to everything you may need, i.e. restaurants, groceries, shopping, diving, snorkeling, bars, etc.
This Resort has one large pool overlooking the ocean and another large pool with an island. Amenities on property include lighted tennis courts, children's playground, and two grilling areas (Weber Grills). Plantation Village also has kayaks and bicycles for your use free of charge!
This 2 bedroom, 2 ensuite bathroom unit is positioned in the center of the complex on the second floor with a pool and garden view, steps away from the famous white sands of Seven Mile Beach where you can enjoy the glistening waters and relax on a beach chair! Our beach is usually small but very private. In the last couple of years our beach has suffered some erosion, but still remains. There is a beautiful large reef about 100 yards out from the beach with a plethora of sea-life.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with all of the basics as well as some nice extras such as a coffee maker, serving dishes and a blender for your fruity cocktails at sunset. Includes a 42" TV in the living room with cable, a TV in 1 bedroom, and high speed wifi in case you don't want to fully unplug. The resort provides high quality linens, bath towels, and beach towels with a mid-week towel exchange included.
If you are bringing children the resort offers cribs and a highchair upon request. We also have plenty of beach toys and tennis racquets in our unit for your enjoyment. Also on property is large playground next to the tennis courts.
The Master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with an attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, also with an attached full bathroom. The screened in patio overlooks the larger pool with an island. There is also a newly installed washer and dryer in the unit and a safe to keep your valuables protected.
Our villa boasts its own Coral Reef right off the beach to snorkel and access to all other watersports (jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat, kayaking, etc.) by taking a short walk to Marriott hotel. There are many reputable diving companies on the island that will provide an epic scuba diving experience.
Be sure not to miss a visit to the famous Stingray City where you can swim with the stingrays! Our front desk associates will be happy to help you book any reservations you may need. Also, within walking distance is Cayman's newest development, Camana Bay, where you will find the cinema, gyms, shops, restaurants, and a Wednesday Farmers Market. You may also want to take a water taxi to Kaibo's local beach BBQ offering Caribbean cuisine and live music. Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to other parts of the island. It's also very easy and affordable to rent a car through Andy's Car Rental with locations at the airport and across the street from our resort. Just remember to drive on the left! The closest supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus.
If you want a good Mudslide or Beer-garita, Coconut Joe's is a local favorite sport's bar right across the street with a large outdoor patio. It also hosts most sports events on a projection screen! If you want something a bit more formal, try the Grand Old House, The Wharf, or Calypso Grill.
Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to other parts of the island. It's also very easy and affordable to rent a car through Andy's Car Rental with locations at the airport and across the street from our resort. Just remember to drive on the left! The closest supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus.
Please note, we usually require Saturday to Saturday rentals for this condo. However, some months we can be flexible with this. Please contact the property manager if you would like to discuss your possible dates.
The front desk at Plantation Village is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday for checkin to answer all questions during your stay. Our knowledgable, local front desk staff can also book excursions for you and take care of any other needs you may have.
There is also a nightly security officer on property for your safety and to help in the unfortunate event that you lock yourself out of your room.

What a beautiful location, lovely condo and it has all of the amenities we could want! We loved the beach, pools and balcony!! The beds were comfortable and layout was great for our family of 4!

We had an excellent stay here, and felt very comfortable with the decor and amenities. All of the appliances were new and worked well (didn’t use the washer/dryer), and the beach-themed decor was very tasteful. We had an issue with the A/C not working when we arrived, but it was repaired within a couple hours while we went out to shop/eat, and we were in contact with the hosts and front desk about it. The unit location is also a highlight - although this is not on the water, nor can u see it from here - the pool/garden view is quiet and the grounds are kept nicely. Also the property location IS on the (small) beach, and there are numerous walkable shopping centers and dozens of restaurants within 1/4 to 1 mile. Parking was plentiful. Only real partially-negative thing to note is the front desk staff, although ultimately helpful in the end, didn’t seem very friendly or like they wanted to be there at all. All that said, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic vacation. Loved the close proximity to a nice quiet corner of the beach- GREAT for little kids as the waves are calm and shallow, and the sand is soft- and overlooking a pool. The balcony is totally screened in, which is such a nice feature in the evenings! The kitchen had more than everything we needed. Despite having upstairs, downstairs, and adjacent neighbours, it was very quiet, too. A word of caution- the floors are VERY slippery with wet feet! Overall a really amazing stay, in a very amazing country.

Overall the property was nice and spacious and included everything we needed for our stay including a small cooler and floaties. The grounds were kept pretty clean. The unit itself was not very clean and I had request for cleaning. There was dust on the floor, trash on the back of the murphy bed, and animal dropping on the plantation shutters. Some of the furniture were outdated and there was a cracked mirror wall. We aldo had several issues with access to the door and sink water stopper. It took maintenance several calls and requests to fix the issues. The description of the property particularly the beach is not accurate. It's tiny and has lots of rocks that make it hard to enjoy.
