Such a great place to stay! Big house! Lots of toys and things for the little ones. Close to Petit Bay park, loved the yard games and kayaks!

The house was clean and as described. Our party of 16 enjoyed our 5 day stay.

We needed a place for our whole family to escape to and just have a great time together! This was the place! It was like a home away from home! The hosts checked on us and we could feel the love in the house!

The house was clean, well stocked with the absolute must haves and several extras. The hosts were very kind and available for any questions from the simple: do you have a waffle maker to I’m to tired apparently and I just locked myself out of your house!

Some friends and I stayed here for a Memorial Day Weekend. Chuck and Vickie baked cookies for our check-in and were incredibly prompt in answering questions over text. The outdoor spaces were incredible with plenty of seating and activities. Would highly recommend staying here and having coffee on the back porch with friends and family! Thank you so much Chuck and Vickie!!!

Plenty of space for everyone. Only 2 of the master bedrooms had TVs. There was drafts in parts of the house which made it harder to keep it warm once people start going outside, etc. Enjoy the stay and it was close to a Walmart, etc. Everyone like the house.

Chuck and Vickie’s place was the perfect place for our our extended family to gather for my cousin’s wedding. We appreciated the cleanliness and thorough communication they provided. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d certainly stay there again.

My family is been staying at this property for 5 years in a row now and it’s always one of the highlights of our summer! The house is huge so there’s plenty of room for 4 families if not more. It is very well stocked. You can always find any size pan you need or cooking utensil, etc. We feel spoiled after staying here!
They have kayaks that come with the rental and this was the first year we tried them out and we really enjoyed it!
We have so much fun at this house, we’re planning on doing a girls weekend there this fall!

The first night there was a thunder storm that caused a power outage. Mr. Love was in touch with us and worked tirelessly to get our problem solved. He even offered to buy our whole family breakfast! The property and house were immaculate, nicely furnished, and fully stocked with supplies. One of the best rentals and owners we’ve experienced! Highly recommend!

Family oriented
The owners of this property have activities for all ages. They are accommodating. We had fresh baked cookies waiting for us🥰. The house is super clean and big enough to fit our big family. We loved sitting by the fire pit making s’mores and talking.

This was our second time to stay at the Bay House for family Christmas. We found the house as beautiful and comfortable as last year, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for a crowd, the play area was a plus for the littles, and we all enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores. Vickie is a wonderful hostess and responds quickly to texts/emails.

A place like home.
This was the perfect location for our families to get together. As soon as you drive up you see a large, beautiful space that is fenced in with a children's playset, basketball goal, and firepit inviting you for the funtivities. When you walk in you are welcomed by peaceful music and the aroma a freshly baked cookies that are waiting to be eaten on the kitchen counter. The rooms where perfectly arranged with pullout sofa's that made sleeping with children very easy. The children loved playing outside while we the adults could relax and enjoy conversation on the front/back patios knowing we could still see them playing and the occasional deer trotting through. A large dinning table in the Kitchen made the family meals more enjoyable as we all feast. Once dinner was over the adults cleaned while the children discovered the treasure trove of toys and activities in the living room closet. Once the children finally played themselves to a deep sleep, the dining table and firepit became the perfect game night locations for the adults to fill the sky with laughter. The sunsets would call the adults to the back patio to unwind with a glass of wine and a puzzle. Towards the end of our stay the washer and dryer proved very useful to clean out any of the messy funtivities from clothes that didn’t need to be remembered. As you read this review you might think it is cheesy but it’s hard not to be when you are so filled with happiness from the best vacation home we have stayed at so far. We will defiantly be making this trip a tradition and can’t wait till next year. Thank you so much to the owners for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home to start this amazing tradition.

Sudkamp Family
This was a very nice house, and was nicely furnished and decorated. It was very well stocked with all of the amenities one could hope for. Our large family easily fit on the big deck and we were glad there were almost no insects to bother us and our weather was great the whole time, except for one small rainshower. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for renting out your beautiful house.

All the comforts of home!
The house was older but nice, very clean, well appointed, comfortable, and had plenty of air conditioning to cool the house during some very hot and humid weather. The beds were comfortable. The deck is a nice place to eat breakfast or have morning coffee with a table and lots of seating and a view of the lake. The yard around the house is very large and had a nice firepit. The house is very close to the lake also. The owners responded quickly to inquiries and were very cordial.

What a VACATION!!!
We had the best time staying at Chuck and Vickie’s place!!! We came to to float the river and hit the lake and the location of the home was just perfect! The home was very clean, and had anything and everything you might need! My favorite was the fire pit! We made tons of memories sitting around fire listening to music after a day in the sun! They have thought of everything!! They have all the extras like the board games, and the little tikes car for the toddler, plenty of toiletries, and all the kitchenware!! We had a total of 10 of us 4 adults and 6 kids! This house was super for our group! Let me tell you chuck and Vickie are the most thoughtful and sincere people!!! We made all the memories and can’t wait to go back and make more!

Where to begin......
The owners are phenomenal! They introduce themselves right after booking and encourage communication and ALL the questions. Super sweet and accommodating hosts to say the least. We all arrived at the property and didn't even attempt to unlock the front door for quite a while. The property is immaculately manicured and also set up for a multitude of outdoor activities. You just have to wander the grounds and sit in the comfy outdoor seating and soak it all in. The property inside and out are set up in such an inviting way that you immediately feel at home. Many items were provided that were so unexpected. We never unloaded the toys we brought for the kids because there were enough toys to keep them excited for 5 days! Comfy beds and pillows, an overabundance of all kitchen items, more towels than anyone would ever need, great water pressure with all showers running, never ran out of hot water, kayaks and life jackets provided (huge plus!). As you can probably tell by now, it was perfection as this review is titled. ❤️

Chuck and Vicki were fabulous hosts of a very accommodating home. The house was well equipped with everything our large family needed and provided enough room for personal space. The house does have several sets of stairs and steps but fortunately did not impede our activities. The inside was very comfortable and the outside was spacious, quiet, and beautiful. There's a reason they use Tranquil in the name - perfect description! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the peace, comfort, and beautiful view of Lake Tenkiller.

Great Get Away
What a great house to come and relax and fellowship. We had our small group get together. None adults and we grilled and cooked and played games and left the world behind us for the weekend.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We look forward to next year. PS This was our 2nd year to rent this home.

We absolutely LOVED this property & the family history in it! Walking in, it felt like the house hugged us! My husband & I went up with our 4 kids, another couple & my brother, his girlfriend & her son. It was spacious & we didn't feel cramped at all, even with 11 of us there. The back deck was something special & even with temps in the high 30s/low 40's, it was nice & cozy under the heater in the mornings so we could enjoy coffee & conversation. They generously provide TONS of firewood, too (HUGE PLUS as most places we have stayed did not & tracking it down can be difficult & it is quite expensive when you do). This allowed us to take full advantage of one of the awesomest fire pits we have been able to enjoy. We were out there every night & created memories that will last us a lifetime. I was skeptical of the kitchen set up, but ended up really liking it...we had 2-3 of us in the kitchen prepping meals & never felt like we were bumping into each other. It was well equipped with plenty of pots, pans, GOOD sharp cooking knives (another thing rentals usually lack), lots of plates/bowls/utensils/cups, too! The grill is also really nice to have, though it is a bit of a trek from the kitchen to the grill. It serves it's purpose & we had plenty of propane. I also have to say...if the beds in a vacation rental are not comfortable, I will never book it again - who wants terrible sleep on vacation??? These beds were AWESOME! Probably as good as our own bed here at home. I really can't think of anything that the house was lacking...& the owners were so attentive & great to work with. They were quick to answer questions & really wonderful hosts...right down to the fresh cookies on the counter waiting for us when we arrived. We would definitely stay there again & really hope to do so!
