Situated in St Marys, this lovely cottage for $121 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The Cumberland Island ferry may be back in operation. Visit the National Park Service (NPS) site for further information. Ferry operation is subject to change. There are many wonderful VRBO properties in beautiful St. Marys. By now you probably have checked out the many vacation properties listed on the St. Marys VRBO site. Here are a few things that set our property apart from other local properties. - Value – With 2 private bedrooms and a large family room, couples or families can vacation at a very affordable price. - Pet Friendly – Dogs/pups are welcome. There is a one-time $25 fee per dog. . This excludes ADA Compliant Service Dogs. Two (2) dog limit. Please note only dogs are allowed (no cats or other pets). - More Value - With a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill you can choose to “dine in” with your family and friends perhaps making your vacation more affordable. The quaintness of historic downtown St. Marys surrounds you when you stay at Green House Cottage. The waterfront is only a few blocks away with a peaceful waterfront park. Restaurants and coffee shops are nearby as well. Enjoy walks down streets that date back to the 1700's. On Saturday mornings, stroll down to the waterfront between 9 AM and 1 PM and buy goodies at the outdoor market. On certain holidays, come enjoy local festival at its best. A ferry ride to beautiful Cumberland Island is both picturesque and educational. Tickets can be purchased at the waterfront. Be sure to make you reservations well before you arrive. You will have the comforts of home right at your fingertips at Greenhouse Cottage. Roomy living area and kitchen are centrally located inside the Cottage, with two small/cozy bedrooms off to each side of the living area. Wireless internet, 46" HD TV and Blu Ray DVD, Kitchen is well equipped with free-standing stove/microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. All your cooking needs are provided, including cookware, serve ware, dishes and flatware and a gas grill. Mr. Coffee maker and Kuerig and blender are also provided. Stackable washer/dryer. The living area has comfortable seating with HD flat screen television. All floors are ceramic tiled. A bedroom located at the front of the house has two twin beds, while the back bedroom has a pillow top queen bed. The bathroom is equipped with a small apartment size shower only. As you venture out the rear door to the Cottage, you will find an enclosed courtyard with deck and walkway. Enjoy your morning coffee while relaxing in the private outdoor area, or maybe a nice meal and a little sun as well. And, if your four-legged friend joins you he or she will enjoy a secure fully fenced environment. - Green House Cottage is a place you will want to visit again and again. We loved the cottage and our stay was awesome. The cottage has everything you need from forks to dog bowls!! We loved the cute garden area that is fenced in it was awesome for my sister fur baby. The location of the cottage was wonderful it was close to the river and to shopping and restaurants. We definitely will be back again.

It is my pleasure to review this sweet property. Tom is a wonderful host. The property is clean, neat, well organized, and climate controlled. Everything we needed was available and Tom was reachable and responsive. The kitchen has everything needed plus many appliances and wifi works great.
There is a private courtyard with a deck, chairs, umbrella, BBQ grill and bicycles. It is safe and private and so enjoyable to sit at. Thanks so much Tom, will definitely stay here our next visit.

Very nice place, loved being able to walk into town (about 10 min walk all the way to river). Very well stocked with all cooking utensils, appliances, etc. Tom provided us with 2 brand new bikes, could drive to town in 2-3 mins. Tom was very responsive, easy to contact, checked in with us every step of the way.

SHOWER WAS VERY SMALL BUT IT WAS OK WITH PLENTY OF HOT WATER. OUR PET DOG WAS ATTACTED WITH NATIVE SAND FLEAS BUT SHE RECOVERED. ALL IN ALL NICE PLACE TO STAY.

Everything was clean and ready for us. Tom communicated very well. It is about 4-5 blocks from the ocean front. It is a nice walk, especially after the Independence day celebration. Traffic was heavy and we were glad to have a short walk home. Fully functional kitchen. This made for a flexible stay, between cooking in or dining out. Quiet neighborhood. Very pleasant and secluded back yard made barbecuing great, and pleasant evenings on the patio with a cold drink.

Nice cottage that supplied all the essentials. It's an easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops (4 blocks), as well as the Cumberland Island Ferry (highly recommended). An added bonus is its proximity to Jekyll Island, St. Simons Island, and the Okefenokee Swamp...all leas than an hour's drive. The cottage is clean and the host communicates well and responds quickly. Recommended!

We couldn't ask for a better experience. The property is adorable, and was perfect for our dog with the fenced in yard. It's walking distance to the Historic district of St Mary's, which is quaint and beautiful. Typical southern charm and chill atmosphere.

We were very pleased with our accommodations at the Green Cottage. It was very accurately displayed on the VRBO website, except I believe the furniture in the living room is new. Everything we needed was provided, and our two small dogs were very happy with their time in the backyard. Tom, our host, was very quick to answer any questions that we had and was very understanding when our trip had to be cut short by a few days. You will not go wrong staying at this wonderful vacation rental.

Me and a few family and friends stayed here over a weekend for my birthday trip and absolutely loved it! The host was super nice and communicated very well! The cottage was super clean and the living room had been updated from the pictures and looked really nice and the outside area was beautiful and when we arrived the fairy lights outside had been turned on and it was very cute! The cottage is close to town too which was nice. Overall I really enjoyed the stay!

The green cottage is the perfect spot to stay to catch the ferry to Cumberland Island. The kitchen is stocked with multiple small appliances, food storage containers, nice pans, etc! Super clean and very well labeled with great communication. The tv was a little tricky even with the included directions, but it worked. :) 10/10 I’d stay here again.

The Green House Cottage was clean and comfortable, all wrapped up in the charming little town of St. Mary’s. It is very accurately represented, and the host is helpful and timely with all communications. Our only regret was that we were too busy to make use of the lovely courtyard and bicycles.

We met up with some sailing family members for Thanksgiving in St. Mary's. This unusual cottage gave us a great venue for prepping and eating a meal for eight and was close enough to easily walk to the waterfront. The fenced yard was perfect for our two dogs.
You can tell that this cottage was constructed as a commercial building, but it makes a very comfortable living quarters. Two spacious bedrooms, a shower bath, and a large great room for everything else. The washer and dryer were a plus. The owner was easy to communicate with and obviously takes pride in the house. It was a good value and a great escape from the ordinary!

This is our second stay in this cottage and the third with these owners. Communication with Tom was easy, and he made sure we had all of the information we needed for our stay. I love the simple floor plan because it makes keeping things tidy and clean with two dogs a breeze. We enjoyed it as much as the last visit and will be back!
