Located in Key West, this attractive villa for $1,450 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Perfect location and great for entertaining! In the heart of Old Town Key West just steps from restaurants, bars, theaters and shops, this sprawling six bedroom, seven bath compound has two private heated swimming pools, endless porches, terraces and a huge, fabulous decks that overlooks the action on Duval St. Comprised of two buildings—a luxurious Duval St. penthouse with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and a lovely 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath guest house. The two-story penthouse is designed after a chic urban flat with an island twist. The spacious, open floor plan is complemented by beautiful island-style furnishings and art work. French doors open onto terraces from every room, and there is a covered dining terrace off the gourmet kitchen. A private heated pool or hot tub with waterfall is the perfect finishing touch. The guest house has three bedrooms, all with private baths, graciously spread out over three floors. The ground floor features a fabulous gourmet kitchen, dining area, half bath, and sitting room with a wall of French doors that open onto the deck and private heated pool with waterfall. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and has a balcony and marble bathroom. Down the hall is a cozy den with a sleeper sofa. The two third-floor guest suites are spacious and private with beautiful tree-top views of Old Town. Amenities include 2 off-street parking spaces, two private heated pools, gourmet Viking kitchens, HD flat screen TVs, Ipod docks, WiFi, laundry, and central heat & air conditioning. This was the perfect location on Duval Street - right near all of the bars/restaurants, easy walk to Mallory Square for the sunsets. Great setup with 2 houses on one property, everyone had plenty of space

16 of us stayed in the Penthouse & Bahamas house for a longed-awaited vacation. Our Ages ranged from 15 to 50! We cannot say enough good things about this Duvall street compound. It was perfect in so many ways! The location, the outside space, pools, rooftop deck, music next door…. Simply perfect!
Mark met us there on arrival and was welcoming and informative! Every need was met! Loved having two kitchens and two pools. We had bikes delivered with plenty of space to keep them all week. Thanks Mark! Another great visit to key West in the books!

We rented the Penthouse and Bahama house together for our wedding with our family and it was perfect. The kitchen in the Bahama house was perfect for making group meals and the 2nd floor bedroom in the Penthouse was perfect as a primary suite for us. Great location - you can walk to almost anywhere including Mallory Square for the sunset every night. Highly recommend!!

This property is just as described, met every need, and exceeded every expectation! We only used the Bahama Street property for sleeping, and everyone gathered at the Duval Street property. Next time I think we will use the Bahama Street property for a dinner or two to take advantage of the kitchen opening to the pool.
The Duval Street noise was only an issue one night, and with the white noise machine provided, it went right away. We enjoyed the music next door, and the doors to the balcony are solid to block out much of the unwanted noise. The roosters were problematic a night or two for the Bahama Street house, but you're in Key West!
Parking was hugely convenient as was having the grocery store right there.
The owner was there at check in for an orientation and again at check out for any questions or concerns. He was also available during the week if needed, but we did not have any issues.

Houses were very clean, and other than some initial HVAC challenges (3rd story unit at Guesthouse would not stay on and and 2nd floor unit leaked extensively the first two days, each when set at 72) everything worked well. All bathrooms need updating (mold on tile and vent areas in most and the 2nd floor Penthouse shower unit looks like it leaks into the living room ceiling — been repaired previously and needed to be again when we were leaving). The outside patio table shows it seats 8 in the photos, but it does not (perhaps its missing a leaf as it seats 6 max) and was not usable because of a chunk of it being missing rendering it unstable. A couple of the outside table chairs, were also unstable and not usable. Net/net its a nice place and served our needs, but with the HVAC and outside furniture challenges, I am glad that we were just friends and family and it was not rented as a cop orate type event.

We stayed in both houses with our extended family. Location is excellent! Right in the heart of Duval. Walking distance to everything. Both houses were clean and well stocked. We appreciated having all the appliances and comforts of home on vacation. Pools are small, but the kids enjoyed them. Owner was incredibly responsive during our entire stay. It was wonderful to have the parking spaces at the house for the golf cart we rented for the week. Definitely would return if we decide to revisit Key West in the future!

We rented both the penthouse and guesthouse for our large group. The location was perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to go. Both houses were clean, well stocked, with super comfortable beds and pillows! The owner was easy to reach and work with.

Most of us had en suite bathrooms, and the accommodations were comfortable for everyone. The pools were well heated and provided us with hours of soaking time while sipping beers and cocktails. The location is ideal for walking to just about all the major sightseeing points of interest even including a very nice beach. Good restaurants are also near by as well as many shops and groceries.
The guest house and penthouse accommodations were very comfortable for our family of 12.

We rented the full location for a group of 10; great location; great bedroom/bathroom ratio; we had mixed ages so we walked everywhere and felt very safe even when we divided up late at night; would highly recommend!

We had both properties and it was wonderful to have so many places to gather. The younger set loved being able to go out on the roof on the Duval side and spent lots of evenings up there. Everyone loved the pools and Thomas made sure everything was kept neat and clean for us. It is a wonderful location with so many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The photographs are spot on. Definitely recommend for a family vacation. One caveat, there are lots of stairs but it never hindered any of us.

The Duval Compound is an amazing property! We traveled with 12 friends for my 50th birthday. The location was perfect, it was immaculate, spacious, great outside spaces, easy check in, and easy to communicate with the owner. I would recommend it to anyone!

6 couples on this Key West trip and stayed in both the Penthouse and Guest House- plenty of room for us all, everyone had their own bedroom, and most had their own bathroom (only two of the 6 bedrooms shared a bathroom, but it was a nice size and easy situation)! Highly recommend! Amazing location, pools, and great porches/balconies, and communication with management was easy.

I can not say enough about how great this property is. There were 14 of us and we rent both houses. It was absolutely an amazing stay. Mark the property owner was great!!! We arrived before check in and Mark let us drop our bags off. The location of this place could not be better if you tried. I highly recommend this property.

The property was perfect for our group of 13! We loved being on Duval street and the penthouse balcony was our favorite location! Mark was a fabulous host! There is some noise associated with staying in the middle of the action but Mark provides a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. We never had a problem with the noise. We absolutely LOVED this property and would book it again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you, Mark, for a wonderful week!!

We beleive that the owner negligently placed this property for rent, knowing and admitting to our group that the roof was not fixed and we had to deal with and clean up 3 different leaks! it was terrible. And the morning after it began leaking, an entire peice of the ceiling fell down revealing wire and the inside of the walls. It was awful!!! Please have someone contact me. I have already started a complaint and the reference number is 29515067
