Our apartment was completely renovated and decorated in 2015. Ground floor : Large living room with sofa bed (where two additional guests can sleep) and a flat screen TV. This room opens to the private terrace The dining room and the kitchen open onto the living room. Independent toilet The master bedroom has a queen size bed. It has a large storage spaces and tv. The bathroom with large shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. Downstairs The bedroom has twin beds for independent sleeping, but they can be joined together to make a king size bed. We loved staying in this flat in the 15th eme - perfect location - close to metro stops and Tour de Eiffel but not touristy. Great boulangeries and cafes right around the corner. Would stay here again!

Loved our stay in Paris. It's, at the same time, both close to tourist attractions and away from the tourist sites in a quiet neighborhood where the locals live. Lots of shopping nearby as well as restaurants. Loved the small

The place is so nicely redone, access is great. On the first floor but quiet. Everything works well. Near two metro lines (8,10) and the Rue du Commerce us a very cute shopping Street with a nice little Park. There is a Carrefour City on the block. Place couldn't be nicer or more convenient. Jocelyne is a wonderful owner and nearby if you need anything. The AC is legit central air with lots of control panels thru out the place.

Host was very helpful and always timely with communication. Neighborhood was not in the heart of a tourist area, but the three different metro lines within minutes walk made getting everywhere easy. Apartment was clean. Stylish and well stocked for cooking if you choose.
Only caution is that the stairs down to the 2nd bedroom and bath are rather steep, so caution if you plan on staying with small children. Also, the downstairs bedroom and bath have no windows, so might be a problem for some….not an issue for us as the rooms were well lit. I would definitely stay again.

First of all, Jocelyne was amazing to work with. Her apartment is beautiful and the hot shower with amazing pressure was a plus after a long day of walking. We loved being close to the Eiffel Tower and being within walking distance to so many cafes. It was just a lovely apartment in an excellent location.

Tranquility in the middle of Paris!
Hard to believe that one could find such a peaceful setting in such a busy place. Our host was friendly and informative and the VRBO was immaculate. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Lovely, spacious apartment
Our host, Jocelyne, and her granddaughter Caroline, were very helpful and welcoming. It is wonderful having your host just across the garden. One night, we couldn't figure out the dryer, and she graciously came over and showed us how to work it.
The apartment is spacious and overlooks a pretty garden area. It is just as pictured. The kitchen was well-stocked with every amenity we needed. It was a perfect set-up, as my husband and I slept in the upstairs bedroom, while our 14-year-old grandson had a "man cave" for himself in the downstairs bedroom. The apartment was located further away from the Seine than we usually stay, but in a nice neighborhood. The apartment itself was so nice that we didn't mind having to walk a little farther to some of our destinations. We also used Uber a lot, and most drivers came within 5-10 minutes. We would like to thank Jocelyne for her gracious hospitality, and hope to work it out to return next spring. Merci!

The location could not have been any better. 3 different metros close by, restaurants steps away, a fabulous market to pick up local delights. Our stay was perfect! Excellent location, hostess, and property
Jocelyne was an excellent hostess; she met us outside when we arrived to escort us in and show us the property. She was quick to respond to my emails to help with the final details of our trip planning and to answer any questions we had.
The property was clean, beautiful and private. The apartment was behind 2 locked doors so it was very secure and quite. It is walking distance from the Eiffel tower, the metro, and lots of great restaurants. We were able to get everything we needed easily.
We traveled with my husband and me, my mother, and our 6 and 8 year old daughters. The location and property was convenient for all of us.
I would highly recommend this property to my friends and family (or anyone looking to tour Paris) and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location
Easy location to get around and enjoy Paris. A short walk to the metro, to the Eiffel Tower, to amazing food. And peaceful place to rest after a long day of walking the beautiful city. Lots of sunlight and a perfect spot for me and my kids to unwind. And Jocelyn provides a wealth of recs for good nearby food and markets. Could not have been easier and more enjoyable.

Lovely modern spacious apartment located perfectly! Safe area with grocery store across the street and restaurants all around.

Gracious and Kind Hostess
Haven of Peace is just as it's described. The apartment provides a peaceful respite from work, which is what I was there to do, or the bustle of the city. Jocelyn was easily reached, she provided all the information a visitor could need about getting about, eating and dining in Paris and the lodging was spacious, bright (on the few sunny days in winter) and comfortable. Excellent choice.

Perfect!!
Our family of 5 enjoyed our time in Paris. This location was perfect. We could easily walk to many things. Close proximity to shops and restaurants. Jocelyn was a great host. She was easy to communicate with and even arranged for a taxi to the airport for us! The apartment was beautiful and modern. We were all very comfortable. The Haven of Peace is a lovely apartment with a lovely sunroom, livingroom and kitchen on the main floor. The neighborhood has a great bakery and supermarket as well as several good restaurants. The apartment is about a five minute walk from the nearest Metro.

Terrific host
Jocelyn was flexible to meet us late for check-in and early for check-out. The space is exactly as advertised and close to a pharmacy, grocery store, wine store, and a handful of restaurants. Since we had to cut our trip short due to Corona virus travel restrictions, we plan to return and will stay here.

Exactly as named … Haven of Peace.
This was our 3rd stay in Haven of Peace, which should be enough to tell you how much we enjoy it. Jocelyne is a very congenial and helpful host and is only a moment away if you should need any assistance. She has provided a modern, clean and spacious accommodation with an open floorplan. A full two bedroom, 2 bath with a conveniently located WC. The 2 bedrooms (one ensuite) are completely separate with a full bed upstairs and two twin beds downstairs. It may be possible to make the twins into a full bed. We’ve never needed it, so did not ask. There is a roller bed downstairs and the living room couch is a full pullout if you don’t mind slightly more close sleeping and living quarters.
A minor caution is you have trouble with stairs or are mobility challenged, be aware. However, if you don’t need the lower level (everything is on the ground floor except one bedroom, one bathroom and the washer/dryer combo unit) it would not be a problem.
You have a cuisine américaine with full sized refrigerator/freezer. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals from the excellent Marché de Grenelle (Su/Wed) under the raised M6 metro line. You have a Nespresso machine, standard coffee maker, water kettle, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils and more.
The private patio and glass enclosed sitting area expand the space and add light as well as a lovely spot for an aperitif, dinner or just relaxing. This is a lovely respite from the energy of Paris.
You are located in the 15th Arrondissement, which has become one of my personal favorites, within short walking distance of 3 metro lines, the Champ de Mar with its incomparable Tour Eiffel and much more.
If you want to dine upscale without the Michelin stars and the tourists, there is Axuria just a short distance away (15 min walk or two stops on the M8 from Commerce) or Le Beurre Noisette on Rue Vasco de Gama (about 20 min on M8 from Commerce). Axuria is about both food and the experience. Noisette is about the food. In addition there are 3 markets within a short walking distance, a Carrefour City on the same street, a Franprix a short distance down Commerce and a large Monoprix across from the La Motte-Picquet metro station as well as number of boulangeries, patisseries. boucheries, and vin du cave (including more than one of the ubiquitous Nicolas) in the neighborhood. You cannot go wrong.

We loved our time at Haven of Peace. Jocelyne and her granddaughter were super helpful. The apartment is exactly as advertised and close to 3 metro stations, bakeries, boucheries, fromageries, and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing time in Paris. I will say that the twin beds cannot be pushed together to make a king bed, so keep that in mind. However, if that’s not important to you, then this is truly the perfect place. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Paris.

A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location.
The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. We had everything that we needed for a 4 day stay, including:A fully equipped kitchen , a washer and dryer, clean towels and linens. The apartment was located in a lovely Parisian neighborhood, close to several metro stations, restaurants, and shops. There was no street noise. We felt very safe there. The owner, Jocelyne Lives on the property, across the garden and was always available for our questions. We would definitely rent this apartment again if we came to Paris again.
