Nestled amid soaring firs we invite you to enjoy our well appointed accommodations with spectacular impeccable thoughtful attention to every detail. An original Oregon log cabin with two private decks surrounded by gardens and water features. After a day of skiing, hiking, golfing, biking or fishing in the Cascade Mountains come home to a soothing rest in your private five person hot tub, then relax in front of the fireplace in your rich cotton robes with a good book, watching TV or movie. Just looking for a place to rest and unwind? You've found it! Stroll down to the river or walk through the beautiful gardens and sit awhile at the trout pond. From the edge of the water enjoy feeding the large Rainbow Trout ….. but no fishing poles!! For a marvelous balance Alder Creek Cabin features personal concierge service, local brochures, maps and in-house massages. From our garden, fresh herbs are available for your cooking pleasure. With binoculars in hand, provided by Alder Creek Cabin, enjoy bird watching at the cabin or nearby. When the snow falls, grab the cabin snow shoes, and head for the hills for a day of sights and sounds in the back country of Mt. Hood. My boyfriend and I pulled up to this beautiful log cabin and the host open the gate to let us in. On the back of the property is another cute log cabin which the host led us to and showed us around a bit explaining some of the tricks to the cabin. He also told us about the mice that were painted around the cabin and if we found them all you get a discounted night. An extra fun little activity while staying there. The cabin was still decorated so cutely from Christmas, the fire place made it extra cozy (I suggest you bring extra fire wood if you want a fire going more then just at night), the sauna and hot tub were amazing and it’s just short walk to the breath taking river. The hosts Coni and Scott are the sweetest people and are so accommodating. They created a very cozy and special place that we can’t wait to go back to. I definitely recommend this place! Get ready to relax!!

We were looking for a quick little getaway to nature for a few days, and this place did not disappoint! We enjoyed the Christmas decorations and coziness in the cabin, as well as the hot tub and hike down to the river. The hosts are also the sweetest people, and we can't wait to go back. Thanks!

We arrived and were greeted by the sweetest people. They explained the ins and outs of the old cabin (dont let that word old get you, its beautiful). We had free reign of the whole property including walking around the owners beautiful abode. There are ponds, archways, riverfront, wildlife, hottub, sauna, fireplace and firepit. Full kitchen big porches. I cant wait to stay again. Maybe in the late spring next time.

The cabin was very cozy and easy to find. We loved the proximity to town, while maintaining complete privacy and peacefulness. We found 7 mice, so we will have to go back in the future.

We have the best weekend getaway at this cabin. It has easy access to the river, which was very fun. But my favorite part was hunting for the mice!! 😆 The amenities were perfect. There is not a shower in the main house, but there is one by the hot tub. It had everything we needed, and the hot tub and sauna were a huge bonus! The bed is unreal. It was like sleeping in a cloud, and we slept in like we haven’t in 20 years!! Thank you to these delightful hosts for a wonderful experience!

The cabin was so comfy and inviting for a relaxing stress free getaway. Everything was absolutely perfect. Mary Ann checked us in and was so good at making sure we knew where everything was and how to use things. They really do care about their guests. Really appreciated all the little things .

Wonderful property with super friendly and sweet hosts. They checked us in in person and showed us around the property, and the whole stay had a very personal touch. Despite the hosts living next door, we felt like we had total privacy and quiet the entire time.

Cabin was super cute, very clean, and soaking in the claw foot tub was so relaxing. We had to leave early due to a family emergency, so unfortunately weren't able to soak in the hot tub or relax in the sauna. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to stay again.

The cabin is 5+++ stars. From the welcoming hosts to walking into a decorated Holiday/Christmas cabin and literally sleeping in one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, I can’t recommend this cabin enough. My girlfriends and I will definitely be back. Thank you for your graciousness!!

This place is like coming to your own private spa, with an awesome barrel sauna, great hot tub, a nice deck to relax on, and a lovely garden and flowing water pond with fish, and tall trees to gaze up at. I was a bit surprised when I made the booking to get a call from the host who wanted to set up a personal check-in time ( I’m used to just letting myself into rentals). When we arrived the host gave us a tour and overview which was helpful. It’s a little more contact then your typical rental, but after the initial meeting, we had total privacy. The gardens were lovely, the queen bed was comfy, and there was a nice selection of movies. All the details for our comfort had been thought of. Lovely place!

Everything you need is right there..spa, sauna, beautiful grounds to stroll and a nice deck to enjoy the outdoors. We hope to visit again soon. Gracious hosts and fun little visits from Stewart, the Scotty.

Coni, Terry, and Mary have created a true oasis in this crazy world we live in! From the start they were kind, informative, and went above and beyond to ensure our time in this incredible place was amazing! The cabin is so beautiful and immaculate! The property itself is so beautiful my words would not even explain the beauty. The hot tub was sparkling clean, the sauna was lovely and they have an outside shower to rinse off before taking a dip and after. Everything was perfect down to the claw foot tub and luxurious bed linens. They have a bbq, full kitchen, and have bathrobes (and flashlights) to go out to at night. Plus they have special things we did not even expect like taking your picture the last day which they send to you and wonderful information on the history on the property. It is so rare to find such amazing owners that take such care and kindness to make your stay the best! We can’t wait to return to our new found special place!
