The 750 sq ft spacious apartment is attached to the owner’s home-a Mediterranean Architecture Villa. The suite is completely private, free WiFi and cable. Private entrance, parking. Outdoor grill. One BR 1 BA with queen bed and fold out ottoman sleeper. Walk in closet. Huge bathroom and entertainment area with spacious couch, 2 recliners and large flat screen TV. Google Home mini, computer and printer. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee and drip coffee makers. Beautiful custom cabinets and slate floor. If you don't feel like cooking, Escondido is home to many fine restaurants, outstanding breweries, and wineries within a few miles. Step through the French doors of your suite and relax by the pool, taking in the beautiful views of the native vegetation and the Escondido hills. Listen to the birds or, if you prefer, the outdoor speaker system. Enjoy the serenity of this hide-away estate while knowing that you have easy access to all the major Southern California destinations! If you’d rather stay home, you have access to your own outdoor grill. Fire pit. Jacuzzi. Treadmill and stationary bike. We had a wonderful time in Escondido. The little villa was the perfect relaxing place after our busy week. We recommend Swami’s for breakfast and check out Stone Brewery for dinner. The animal safari park was a nice place to visit. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

Perfect location and accommodations! Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Julia was generous and attentive. Clear instructions and helpful information for our stay. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the birds over morning coffee. We will definitely stay here again.

We ended our California vacation at this lovely villa. It's located right next to the pool, which is large and inviting. The villa is part of a magnificent home. The villa has a combination bedroom/living room/kitchen. The bathroom was a plus. It was really two rooms, one with a shower, sink, and vanity, another with a tub, sink, and vanity. We were comfortable, and it was a great value. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to return.

Just wow is all I can say. I am so happy to have discovered Villa Escondido. It is truly one of the most restful, restorative and lovely VRBOs I've been in. Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped villa/casita with everything you'll need. The grounds are spectacular and the pool is a dream; I swam in it every morning and evening during my stay. It is as beautiful as it looks. Julia is a great host, very communicative and friendly. I travel a lot to North County to visit family and I'll never stay anywhere else!

We were able to snag this gem to join in celebrating a girlfriend’s kiddos first birthday. This stay was one of our best. The property is pristine, private and had everything we could have needed. Bed and futon were melt worthy. The bathroom had ample space for two gals. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the randoms. Our hosts immediately responded to questions, though we needed for nothing. Cannot wait to return!!

Hands down this was the BEST place to stay in Escondido. It’s beautiful and relaxing! Julia, Robert, & their daughter Niko (and pup Ignacio) were FANTASTIC hosts. They give you lots of privacy, and are also available anytime you need them. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I wanted a quiet getaway in the San Diego area to act as a homebase for several trips that I planned to take in the general area. I'm glad I chose this location, it was extremely comfortable and the host provided a wonderful assortment of amenities. If I return to this area I will certainly check availability of this location again.

Every detail was covered during our delightful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed our getaway weekend AND our Navy son was able to join us for a much needed getaway for him too. We will go back and highly recommend Villa Escondido to others visiting the San Diego area.

Wonderful Sunrise and view of the pool. Very nice and discreet owner. Lots of privacy and plenty to benefit around the appartment and the swimming pool area. Personally I like really hard mattress and that bed could be a bit firmer. As I stayed for business internet a tad faster would make it perfect, for video call (no disruption or other issue).

we will definitely stay here again....it was perfect and such a nice change from the typical "hotels". We had privacy and enjoyed the grounds esp the hot tub and the fire pit too!!

Lovely property gated and huge. Only 1 1/2 miles from major streets and tons of options for shopping, eating and walking. The rental unit was very clean, organized and had plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
