About this farm stay rental
Situated in Niagara-on-the-Lake, this lovely farm stay for $254 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to The Farmhouse! The house (circa 1944) has been restored, and showcases all the original charm, with all the modern amenities. The Farmhouse sits on one acre, and is surrounded by peach orchards, and vineyards. It is located on the outskirts of Old Town, Niagara-on-the-Lake. A short distance to it all! Theater, wineries, breweries, biking trails and parks. We are a walking distance to The Saturday Farmer's Market, at the Village, and Wednesday evenings SupperMarket (May to October). Come and experience the beautiful Niagara region from the convenience of a holiday house. The Farmhouse was a working peach farm for many years. It is a storey and a half, offering plenty of living space for a comfortable vacation, with extended family, or friends. There is a living room (with pull out double bed), separate dining room, full kitchen with an eating area, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. There are three bedrooms on the second floor, with one queen bed, one double bed and two twin beds and a bathroom with a bathtub, for baths. On the main floor there is a three piece bathroom, with shower stall, for showers. It is furnished, with everything you should need The kitchen is south facing, sunny, and fully equipped for cooking meals. Should there be a rainy day, there are DVDs, books, puzzles and board games. We offer WiFi, and our blu-ray players can stream your favourite shows. Licensed cottage rental #027-2024. Family members have allergies. We regret we are unable to host service animals due to health and safety. We appreciate your understanding.

Great place to gather with family inside and out. Quiet and spacious, great movie selection and short distance to town. Kitchen was well equipped for all meals and hosting a family brunch. Beds are firmer than we liked but overall an amazing vacation spot.

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts had literally thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as if we were in our own home. Beautifully decorated and furnished and the property itself is stunning. The gardens and views are breathtaking. Will definitely stay again when We are in Niagara on the Lake.

An unassuming property as you approach it, but upon entering the farmhouse, you're pleasantly surprised at the classic style with modern upgrades in this well-organized house. Minutes away from town and even walking distance to some wineries, we had a lovely weekend at the farmhouse.

The farm house was perfect for four people (1 couple & 2 widows). The location could not have been better for day trips all over Niagara-on-The-Lake. Lara, the owner, was very responsive & made many great suggestions. I would definitely rent this accommodation again. SP

This is a real hidden gem. we were 3 generations traveling (age range 17-90). This farmhouse has the charm of a country inn but with all the comforts of a modern home. Updated kitchen, bathrooms were well appointed and stocked. Even with Air conditioning, cooling fans were additionally available throughout home. Very thoughtfully prepared for guests, extensive information binder, local pamphlet info, and clear instructions throughout home. EXTENSIVE movies, games and books were appreciated. Truly well positioned where the town meets the vinyards, beautiful setting, serene and quiet. For those with bikes or conditioned walkers, could easily walk into town for dinner, sightseeing and well within walking distance to couple wineries. Hosts were thoughtful and left a welcome gift for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return!

Kitchen is very well appointed. It has anything you may need. There is only 1 shower in the house in the bathroom on the 1st floor off the kitchen. The second bathroom upstairs has a tub with a hand held sprayer, but there is a note that adults are not to shower there. The bedroom with the queen bed does not have any window blinds or curtains, so it was bright in the morning. The mattress in that room is very firm. The setting of the house is beautiful in the vineyard and the location is great.

Perfect Location
Farmhouse is in the perfect location for visiting wineries. It is within walking distance of a couple of wineries and one brewery as well as The Old Winery Restaurant which is highly recommended. We truly enjoyed our time away from home! Thank you Lara!

Perfect Retreat!
The home is better than the pictures. There’s a lot of space to spread out, if needed. A group of 5 of us truly loved our stay and it’s proximity to so many wineries and the downtown area. Short drive to Niagara Falls, it was the best home base we could ask for. After the hustle and bustle of being tourist, it was great to retreat away from it all.

2019 stay
Ideal property for our stay in Niagara on the Lake. With two autistic kids, we needed somewhere that afforded a little privacy away from the popular areas of Niagara on the Lake and Lara's property was the ideal combination of privacy and locality. The property was well equipped with everything that we needed, including for us, the very neccessary internet and wifi provisions. All in all, the property was everything we hoped for and more, highly recommended if you need that little bit of privacy and situated just outside the popular areas, that made traveling easy to both Niagara on the Lake and the popular Niagara falls.

Great spot near town for families
The Farmhouse is in a great location - close to wineries, the water and Old Town NOTL. The home is well appointed and comfortable for our family of 5. The bedrooms are all upstairs while the bathroom where the adults are to shower is off the kitchen downstairs.....
the sheets and towels provided were very nice and super clean. The house is totally updated and very charming. The hosts were very kind and responsive.

Cute and cozy with amazing view of the winery
The place was amazing. All the necessities were provided. We basically just needed to bring ourselves there. There were enough chairs and sofa in the living room for group gathering. The cottage is on its own lot and that made us feel very exclusive and set on vacation mode as soon as we arrived. Laura was very responsive and informative through the booking process. Will definitely book again in a near future.

This property is simply amazing - so thoughtfully finished and comfortable. Impeccably clean - it is apparent that Lara has put ALOT of effort into the house. Comfortable and with everything you could possibly need for your holiday - we felt really welcome and really well cared for. So quiet too. The perfect base for a visit to the Niagra area. There is simply nothing that you could say about this property that isn't positive. Lara is a very helpful and attentive host. Thank you so much.

Charming wine country retreat!
We were 4 adults renting the house for a long weekend in wine country and it was perfect. Frankly the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen easily accommodated group cooking, the patio was perfect for quiet coffee in the AM or a glass of wine in the PM, and we were able to walk to both the farmers market and Niagara on the Lake from the house. It was incredibly hot and humid the weekend we were there and we were thrilled to realize the house had AC. Would stay again.

Perfect family house
This house was perfect for our family vacation!! There were 3 adults and 2 kids, everyone was comfortable. The area was very convenient near a cute shopping area and Niagara Falls.

Absolute Gem!
The farmhouse was very enjoyable for our family of 5! I loved the area where the home is located. This was our yearly family trip and my kids first time in Canada (19, 18, & 12). We all really enjoyed the home - it had all the necessities that we could want from a full stocked kitchen to the space of the living room and bedrooms. We loved playing board games in the dining room almost each night. Also, enjoyed siting out on the deck in the early mornings listening to the birds.
The home is certainly within walking distance of the Food trucks on Wednesday night and the winery across the street. NOTL area is within minutes as well as other day trips. It was nice to return after a long day knowing that we felt "at home".
Would love to come back again and go cycling!

Place of Peace
We were so very "blessed" to stay at the "Farm House" and enjoy the rustic, beautiful, peaceful setting. We celebrated the "amazing" marriage of our eldest son at a winery in NOTL. The "Farm House" was more than sufficient for our needs and the owners were very professional, kind and caring with every attention to detail during our stay for a party of 6. You will be pleased!! The pictures don't do this property justice, it is simply beautiful. The restoration has not only kept some really lovely features but also given it a modern feel. The decor is fantastic and it is such a comfortable home. We loved the location as it is so close to the town centre yet far enough away that you have total privacy. My children loved playing in the garden and we all really enjoyed the food trucks coming to the field at the end of the road on a Wednesday night. The house is fully equipped with DVD's and virtually everything you could need in a kitchen so it's a pleasure to cook in.
Lara has been a delight to deal with and was very prompt with any queries. We cannot recommend this property highly enough!!

Sometimes the photos just don't do a property justice. In this case the reality exceeded the photos. A wonderfully comfortable and well appointed property in a truly delightful and convenient location. We had no idea we would have a vineyard in the garden or a peach orchard over the road. Equally the photos of the interior do not do the house justice. Thanks also to the owner (Lara) for some great winery recommendations - we had a wonderful stay!
