About this condo rental
Located in Carolina, this lovely condo for $165 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Location! Location! Location! Newly Renovated, Clean and Includes Parking! This quaint and beautiful condo is located in the heart of Isla Verde. Only 5 minutes from the airport, on the best beach in San Juan and arguably one of the best beaches in Puerto Rico. The Racquet Club Condominium is a safe, 24-Hour doorman building literally 5 STEPS to the beach. You cannot get any closer. The building is clean and has spectacular beach front views. My condo is on the 9th Floor, spotlessly clean and decorated with a “Hampton's” simplistic, open-airy spa feel. When guests walk in, they are in awe of the amazing view. It looks like there is a balcony, but there is not. However, because the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors provide such an open feel, you have the sense of being outside when you sit down and have your cup of morning coffee admiring the aqua green and cerulean blue sea. I guarantee you... the view is breathtaking! You will be delighted when you experience the incredible ocean breeze and ample sunlight. The condo is only steps away from the Isla Verde strip, where you can walk to everything, from the Royal Sonesta Hotel (formerly the Inter-Continental), Ruth's Chris, to the "soho chic" rooftop restaurant and bar at the Water & Beach Club Hotel a few doors down. CVS is at the corner, or if you prefer, you have Walgreen’s, delis, restaurants, Pueblo supermarket, and a number of fast-food restaurants from which you can choose. The El San Juan Hotel, a lobby possessing architectural beauty, an amazing chandelier at the bar, high-end restaurants, night clubs and the spectacular casino, awaits you only a few blocks away! If you don’t feel like going out, there are 2 bars on the bottom of the building - check out Torres Place where the drinks are great and the seafood empanadas are delish! You are also bound to meet the locals, some New Yorkers or tourists from around the globe. By the end of the night, hopefully everyone will probably know your name! In terms of transportation, you really don't need a car. Uber is cheap here! However, if you do want to hire a car, PARKING IS INCLUDED is conveniently located at the building. You can rent a car around the corner at Charlie's Car Rental or walk to the corner and take the local bus to Old San Juan, where you can take in some museums or visit the world famous El Morro. There are so many choices, but you won't be disappointed. No matter what... you’ll be in the heart of Isla Verde and have a great time! Lastly - guess what? You can actually get me, the owner on the phone! Novel idea speaking to a human right? My management company will take good care of you, but at least you know, you will always be able to reach me!

Lovely beach front condo just as described. We spent a comfortable week in this spacious condo with fully stocked kitchen and good bathroom amenities. Got good use of the beach loungers and towels that were also provided. The building is very secure and it’s walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Kudos to Jennifer and her management team who responded immediately when we came across a couple of issues. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for five nights. We loved the location, particularly the accessibility of the beach. The initial check in process could be improved, but I would not hesitate to stay here again. We walked to dinner most nights and Old San Juan was only a $15-20 Uber ride. The CVS was 24 hrs and a block away for any supplies needed.

The condo is beautiful and the view is fabulous! The owners were attentive. The workers do not speak sufficient English, that was my only issue. The beach is beautiful. My girls never went out alone because the area is like any city in the US. The food, drinks, the culture, the people, the beaches, aand the condo was great!

When we pulled up to the building I thought I had made a huge mistake. The outside is not well kept, the lobby area was very dirty, there are bars on all of the doors. But then we got to our apartment and it was beautiful and just like the pictures! The location is perfect, literally steps to the beach. We walked to CVS several times for drinks or small items. We took and Uber to a grocery store once. The building was very quiet and secure. There was a lot of communication with the owner and property manager. They have clear instructions and checked on us regularly. The apartment has everything you need, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler. The bed is comfortable a s the AC cooled the room off quickly. Don’t let the outside scare you away from this cute apartment!

This was a fantastic place. The location is really amazing. Right on the beach with sweeping views of the coast from the living room. The building is in stretch of resorts to the left and to the right so there is a lot of nearby amenities and restaurants. As for beach access, it couldn’t be easier or better. You just walk out the door and you are there. We spent a good amount of time walking up and down the beach and checking out some of the big resorts nearby and honestly, the location of this unit may be on the best part of this whole stretch of beach.
There are also a lot of great restaurants around within walking distance including some of the best ones right in the building facing the beach.
The unit has a kitchen (no oven) – we appreciated the blender – so we also had a few meals and drinks at home to keep costs down. There is a 24-hr CVS across the street that is well-stocked with all the basics you're going to need for your stay and the beach. Beer, wine, liquor, and basic groceries and food. All in all, this was a great place that we would book again.

First time we pulled up to the property, we were a little nervous. The outside building needs a little work but once inside our room....nothing compares to that view!! Full size windows in the living room and the bedroom of the beaitiful ocean. Absolutely amazing!! The condo was quaint, cozy, and clean. Everything we needed was inside, even different beach chairs, an umbrella, and cooler for the beach right across the street. Two little restaurants in the building for an easy lunch spot while on the beach or to grab a pina colda to take back to the beach. Building was very well secured, staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, lots of restaurants and a couple shops for souvenirs within walking distance. If we ever come back, I would definitely stay here again just for the picture perfect view alone!!

This unit isn very thing as advertised. It was clean, nicely decorated and in a fantastic location. The views are perfect and being so close to the beach was so convenient. The beach is also one of the nicest we have been on…totally beautiful! We had no issues and we HIGHLY recommend anyone considering a trip to Puerto Rico, should definitely look at staying at this condo.

The only down side, it was pretty far everywhere we wanted to go. Spent fortune for Uber. Would definitely visit again, but maybe closer to excursions.

We had a wonderful stay at this Beach Condo, which was also close to our pick up/s for Rain Forest Tour, Swimming through Caves and Cliff Jumping and Snorkeling. Walking distance to great restaurants and stores. Beautiful view!

This condo is in a fabulous location steps away from Isle Verde Beach, our favorite. The condo was clean and spacious. The view of the beach is nice. The new sliding windows allowed for fresh air and the window a/c units worked great. There is a nice pool and deck for sunning on the ground level. The building is nice with relatively fast elevators, a nice pool, and security. The property owner and management company were communicative and easy to deal with. You can easily Uber to any place you want to go. We enjoyed the stay very much and we will return. Thanks so much!

The kitchen was plenty spacious, the living area was good but the location was key!! My only downside of our stay were the pillows!!
We were provided with beach towels as well as a cooler, although maybe a beach blanket for a family....
The grocery store was a short 10 minute walk and there is a CVS (24hr) on the corner. We chose to buy our breakfast and lunch goods and ate out for dinner.
There is an informative binder with helpful phone numbers and suggestions. I would not recommend Metropol for dinner. Our experience was awful.
We had some difficulty with the bus as we didn't know you needed .75$ in coins only to ride, so we cabbed it to San Juan. Otherwise, we will consider for another stay. Thank you for having us :)

The condo building in which this apartment is located is very, very old. That being said the apartment is very spacious and comfortable for two people. The location and views are amazing.! Both the living room and bedroom have large sliding glass windows from which you look out on the beach and ocean. We only had the air-conditioner on for the first afternoon after which we left the windows open during the day when we were there and again at night and let the cool breeze come in and listen to the ocean. When you left the building you had to walk about 5 steps and you were n the beach.
The owner of the apartment thought of everything you would need for a weeks stay there including toiletries, cleaning supplies, beach chairs and umbrella. I most also note the apartment is super clean.
We had a small issue and she got back to me and had it corrected immediately. The management company is also very responsive. It was a great stay also there is a very nice beach restaurant underneath the condo on the beachside. Great stay. Thank you Jennifer and Tania.

The apartment was small but comfortable with a great view to the ocean from high above, and the lobby is just steps from the beach. The pots and kitchenware was of good quality. The checkin process was a bit complicated; you call, they buzz you and you need to run from the small front gate to the door otherwise you need to call again, and they might be driving so you need to wait. Once you're in, the instructions via text are clear on how to get to the apt. and you get the beeper for the car, and the keys. My husband waited for me down on the street with the car. It would have been useful if they texted you the parking # which is not the same as the apt# or the code#, it's written in the binder upstairs and on the keys with tiny font. It would be great if they wrote it on the Beeper too. The whole process took 1 hr, but after that we could enjoy our stay. The area is very close to Pueblo Supermarket, Walgreens, CVS , USPS, and many restaurants. Even though is on the 9th floor you can still hear the cars below, but we closed the window. The internet speed is excellent for working including videoconferencing.

We loved this cute condo. It was the perfect size for us and had what we needed to make our stay comfortable. Any questions we asked the owner, was immediately taken care of. Her responses we well understood and quick! We had a cable box go bad during our stay and within a few hours had it replaced. The place itself was very close to the airport and the windows to both the bedrooms and living area - looked out directly to the beach! The breeze during the day was amazing when we had the windows open. The 'pre' information sent was so helpful AND there was a very detailed notebook with things in the area to do, and places to go. Thank you Jennifer! Our stay was great.

We found this rental to be exactly as described. Easy checkin/checkout process. Very secure but easy to come and go as we pleased. Kitchen was adequate for cooking. Bed and linens were clean and comfortable. Nice shower and hot water. Great wi-fi. The little library of books was a very nice plus for us. We were easily within walking distance to many restaurants. We especially enjoyed Hijole and the frozen margaritas!! We chose not to rent a car but did Uber if it was too far to walk--but we did walk to many restaurants. The management was very responsive to any questions. The only downside/frustration was that there was no way to access the washing machines during the week we stayed. This is difficult when you plan to do laundry part way through the trip! However it was a problem with the entire building--NOT an isolated issue with our rental Other than that everything was great!

We had a very good time at this perfectly located property.
The check in process was week communicated. Apartment was clean and right at the beach as described. There were 3 restaurants in the same building offering variety of good food and excellent service (shout out to Eva at El Alhambic Beach Lounge). Place was also well stocked with soap, TP, towels etc.
Would love to rent out again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, quiet and literally right on the beach. You can’t beat a condo that has sliding windows that open right onto the ocean, letting it the warm sea air. The beach itself is beautiful and clean, with lounge chairs and umbrellas available to rent each day at an affordable price. This stay was exactly what we were looking for for our winter break getaway.

Jennifer units were clean and she provided a lot of extra amenities such as…. Beach chairs and towels, games, cleaning supplies and bedding. She was very responsive. She also provided free parking for one of the units. I will definitely stay there again. The view was facing the beach. It was nice. She had two property managers. Judith was great in responding back to any questions or concerns the other gentleman which I don’t remember his name did poorly with responding to text. Moving forward Jennifer’s unit gets thumbs up for me.

My wife found this condo on VRBO for our summer family vacation trip, two adults and two kids. The condo has an ocean front view of the beach. The Marco Polo Company sent a text with precise instructions on how to gain access to the condo. The communication was prompt with the owner of the condo and the Marco Polo Company. But, the VRBO site was missing information on the details of the condo. You are provided with enough essentials to last one or two days. For example the condo only provides 2 rolls of toilet paper. I've stayed in VRBO property where they provide essentials to last a week. The ocean front view was good, but the windows could use a little TLC cleaning. The curtains should be blackout curtains to block out the morning sun. They provide basic cable with the option to rent movies. Bring your own firestick or Roku box to stream movies for down times. The Bluetooth Stereo system does not function. I followed all the instructions carefully and still couldn't get it to work. The guest from 1/24/22 through 1/28/22 stated the same issue in the House Book maintained at the condo. The furniture needs updating. The bathroom and kitchen looks like it was remodeled a few years ago. The bathroom shower is about 2 feet wide and 4 feet long. The bath towels are in good condition. They do provide beach essentials, 3 beach towels, 4 unusable rusty beach chairs and one damaged beach umbrella. The security Jessy was professional and polite at check in. She showed us around the property. The pool is pretty big. Be forewarned you are asked to turn off the a/c when you head out and be prepared to come back to a hot condo. Overall our stay was about average compared to other VRBO properties, but we made the best of it.
P.S. Bring ear plugs for the party busses that may show up at 2 in the morning blaring music in front of the beach.

Great place on the beach
The condo was clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. It was very convenient (to the beach, restaurants, stores, etc) and very clean. The check in process was s little confusing but was easy once you figured it out. The security staff posted 24 hours was very helpful too.

Perfect Location
The location and view are perfect. I selected this property because of all the great reviews. I enjoyed morning walks on the beach. Wine in the evening watching the sunset. Just a few minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes from Old San Juan which has the best restaurants and night life. Communication was clear w Jennifer and the management company and just a delightful experience.
