Really plush apartment, loved my time there, but a few things to note

Okay so I'm writing this review because I read a lot of mixed reviews about this place and decided to take a chance and I was really happy with my stay. I'd like to address a few points here. 1. When you book, you have to check your email and they ask some basic questions and send you a paypal invoice for the deposit. You have to answer these questions/send the deposit to get your check-in information (inc. the code you use to access the apartments). I can't speak about the deposit being returned as I've only just left and haven't had it back yet. 2. The location you're looking for is on the right when you're facing Wintas computers. It's not 100% obvious its globalstay, but the address 121 King St E is on the glass door bit. There's a keypad to gain entry. You may need to use a leading zero. 3. When you're in, go to your apartment, and it should be unlocked. The key should be near the car park pass, on a little hanging rack on the tall table. 4. It will probably be quite warm when you enter - set the thermostat to cooling and the temperature to something comfortable for you. Overall, once I worked out those few things, it was an incredibly pleasant stay. The flat is very well equipped - lots of crockery/cooking supplies, including spices. The kettle might be in a cupboard (stove-top kettle, very important for a Brit like me). Cooked and microwaved and washed up a few times while I was there, no issues. The apartment was very clean and plush. The sofa is very comfy, the bed too. The bathroom/shower are great. Didn't try the TV. Having washing machine/dryer in the flat was very useful. Really good location, right in downtown. A short walk from most things you'll need, and lots of good restaurants. The owners were very prompt at replying to emails. If you want a nice coffee shop, go to Redchurch just across the road! And if you need groceries, go to Nations in Jackson Square.

A few things I already listed weren't super obvious, but I worked them out fine. Hopefully my review will help you on those. My one weird complaint is that the building isn't super accessible - there's a lift, but there are also a few steps directly after it (I was on floor 2), and also a few steps within my apartment from the hallway down to the living area. So if you're a wheelchair/cane user or otherwise can't manage steps very well, maybe contact the owners to see if you can get an apartment that doesn't have these problems. Wasn't an insurmountable issue for me personally, just having to carry several heavy suitcases was a bit more difficult!

long time and several messages to check-in, didnt have a key for the main door (yes for the apartment) Free parking spots are not correct, woke up to find 2 parking tickets = 60 dollars strange security deposit, i was reumbursed after but the headache.

Amazing

The location of the property was perfect, less than 10mins walk from the bus/train station, also a walking distance to Downtown and everything around. The apartment was also very comfortable.

Paid $200 for a room for one night. The owner of the hotel asked to send him an additional 200 dollars before check-in, we sent another two hundred dollars. We provided all the necessary documents for check-in. As a result, we were never checked in. That's how I was left at night on the street in a foreign country. I've traveled so much and I've never had any problems with check-in. You should treat people better and not make money from them dishonestly. Such fraud is apparently considered the norm in Canada. You should be ashamed! I don’t care if you lie to people to justify yourself - your name will still remain dishonest.

It is nice to have a full kitchen specially with a family or for long stay but I would had rather booked a hotel for $10

Full kitchen, clean washroom, good dinning room area

Bed was not comfortable, old bed sheets and pillows. Sofa was uncomfortable to sleep. Notice in the ceiling what appeared to be a blinking light coming from a fixture, potentially a camera that can see through the bedroom and living room. Found that uncomfortable. Paid $10 dollars for what was advertised as a crib for my son and received an old play pen for children with some old blankets at the bottom which is not suitable for a baby.

Don’t stay here, go to a hotel.

Pretty good location, near bars and restaurants.

Very uncomfortable furniture, noisy HVAC, and terrible staff made the whole registering process difficult and stressful.

I have to pay 60 dollars for cleaning, why would I shoulder the cleaning services? Instead of paying 87 I end up paying 171 ouch 🤕

i would not return nor would i recommend it to anyone.

it started off badly because there was no one to let us in. after a 7 hr drive from montreal, we had to wait another hour to try to get into the facility.

people were not helpful; it took a lot of effort on our part to get things done and still some things like getting beds fixed were never done. sleeping was not comfortable at all.

Good and fast communication. Staff is super nice. The loft was very comfortable and clean A+++

I liked that the service was ultra fast. I was texting them and they were immediately answering me. Really amazing to have that kind of service when you’re on the go: it eases the anxiety of travelling!

I love the location, the Apartment was really Cool.

As Mentioned there was another room Playing extremely Loud dance music well into the morning, and then started again through the day. I didn't get a lot of sleep. Everything else was great, but this soured the experience for sure.

Overall, it was good

Quiet neighborhood. Alot of restaurants around the area. Easy check in.

The shower head. Its too high. My husband a 5' 11" couldn't reach the shower head. By the time the water reached us, the water is cold, it like getting rained on.

Everything! The loft had so many issues and no one is there to actually provide assistance to fix anything. The window doesn’t close (hinge was broken), the Nest thermostat doesn’t work so you’re either freezing from the cold gusts coming from the broken window or be in a sauna with the non-stop non-unadjustable heater. The “rain shower” had no water pressure where real rain would’ve given me a better wash. The TV remotes don’t work so there goes any kind of entertainment in the loft you think you’ll have that was supposedly included. But who wants to sit on a ripped couch anyways right? (Yup, the couch was ripped that they tried to cover with a blanket). You’d think you can maybe relax in the bed then, but the pillows are grossly stained. oh btw, the Key Fob to enter the loft doesn’t exist so you have to get buzzed in every time. You call the property owner and no one picks up the phone, they will only respond to your WhatsApp messages and they think you’re an idiot for not being able to work the TV, thermostat, etc… All of this was reported to Customer Service but they refuse to provide any sort of compensation for this horrible stay.

Perfect for conference travel

Rented this apartment for a weekend conference, it was in a convenient location and the sleeping arrangements worked out well for 4 individuals. The apartment was beautiful and the beds were comfortable.

Because this is a loft, the areas are quite open and sound carries very clearly throughout the apartment, I found it a bit loud for sleeping.

Elevators were extremely slow Entrance has no covered carport so on the day we left we got wet because it was raining quite hard Location is quite far from area we wanted to visit
