Rustic, Secluded Retreat Center near Copalis Beach

Great place to spend time with friends and family!

Sursum Corda is a fantastic place for a large gathering. There are plenty of unique and comfortable spaces to gather. We barbequed on the patio, games, and dinner together in the dining room, set up a puzzle table in the living room where there was plenty of space to have a few conversations going at once. Morning yoga and a card game at night in the yurt. The lawns were great for Bocce ball, and corn hole. The nature trail through the forest is peaceful and calming. The property has many surprises to explore. The downstairs area was great for the kids to play games and spend time away from the adults. the outside entry downstairs was great for those staying on the lower level, it also made it a challenge to remember where you left your shoes. Reminding my family to remove their shoes indoors was the biggest challenge. The kitchen was well equipped. I am not sure if there were electric griddles for pancakes, as my family always brings a few, but pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls and silver are plentiful. The double oven, very large refrigerator, and chest freezer were great. There are wonderful views out the windows, it is a short drive to Ocean Shores and the beach. All in all, a great place to stay, even more so to calm your soul, and explore your spirituality, in the forest, the Yurt, or one of the many very nice bedrooms. Darrell

This place is great for a Men's Retreat, Youth Retreat, Family reunion, or a rustic women's retreat (depending on the women:) Our men enjoyed themselves very much!George & Mary were very kind and helpful. The Yurt was great for gatherings, and the Men also enjoyed the firepit. Thank you so much!
