About this condo rental
Situated in Gasparilla Island, this attractive condo for $347 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Boca Grande is a seven mile long island in the gulf of Mexico accessible by bridge. Our condominium is only 50 steps from the water, has a great view of the gulf of Mexico, accessible to the 7 mile walking beach and is fully furnished with many amenities. . . beach towels, beach chairs, Smart TV in family room and TV in most rooms. Lots books for your reading pleasure, too. Be sure to pack a box for the many shells that you will find. . . Sand dollars, too! Newer granite kitchen counters in a fully stocked kitchen to meet all of your needs for a quick meal or full dinner. We include a Keurig coffee machine, a crock pot, waffle maker and a 4 slice toaster for quick and easy breakfasts. Many sets of plates for appetizers or dinner on the lanai. Great dinners on the shaded lanai. . . Large Master Bath has large, walk-in fully tiled shower with hand held shower and an inside bench. Master Bath has double vanity with hair dryer and special guest soaps. Master bedroom with King bed and guest room with Queen bed with en suite baths for both. Both bedrooms provide a reading area with chair for a cozy spot to relax. Family Room has two leather couches and two over- sized chairs/ottomans for lounging or for relaxed reading area. Many books in our unit, too! Large screen, Smart TV and is ready for your movies with your Netflix account. Unit has our own Wi-Fi so coverage and speed time should meet your expectations for work or pleasure. We provide a computer desk in family room for your comfort. The views from our unit are exceptional. . . garden below, pool beyond and turquois waters ocean view. Unit offers shade in late afternoon which enables you to use lanai for early dinners. Unit # 141 is on the SUN side of the complex so you can enjoy sunning on our open air porch. Pls see the pictures that we've taken to provide a glimpse of the beauty outside your vacation condo. The town is like Sanibel without all the people. There are no high rise buildings, and relatively few large condominiums. Our condo is on the best beach on the island. The sunsets are spectacular, shelling is terrific, with sand dollars plentiful most of the year. The dolphins are regular visitors, the fishing in front of the condo is very good. For bird watchers, the island is home to numerous osprey nests, and eagle nests are off island. Tarpon fishing at the end of the island in spring-summer is world famous. Several excellent golf courses nearby. The quaint shops carry beautiful merchandise. Our smoke-free condo has newer appliances, new ceramic tile in most areas, wood floors in bedrooms, and a casual feeling to remind you that you're on vacation! It is a first floor, end unit so you have extra light , more relaxing breezes and easy entry with elevator or close to the stairs. No walkway behind master bedroom guarantees privacy. Parking is under the building. Two porches, one open, one screened. Most meals are eaten outside on the lanai. Friends tell us a visit to the condo is like going to Hawaii, but for a lot less money. Visitors regularly include celebrities. Katherine Hepburn came here for years. The Bush family has spent several Christmas holidays here, as have a number of movie stars. The island was used for the recent Denzel Washington movie 'Out of Time'. If you'd like to enjoy dinner at the Gasparilla Inn, pls remember jacket is required for dinner, only. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay here. We hung out at the pool, took the beach chairs out to watch the sunset and enjoyed the deck early in the morning.
I highly recommend it and hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!

Let me first say, we have been coming to the gulf islands since 1978. Needless to say, we have rented a lot of different properties. This condo, by far is the loveliest we have ever rented. The photos are beautiful, but do not do it justice. The decor is light, airy, with a coastal vibe. The interior is very thoughtfully done for maximum relaxation, but with a calming atmosphere.
The kitchen is fully equipped to handle any cooking task.
Any possible utensil you could want is there, including cookware. The bath is fully stocked with fluffy towels, beach towels, bath rugs and vanity mirrors. There are enough beach chairs and accessories that you don't need to go purchase or rent anything.
The beach was quiet and secluded; quite I few days we were the only people on the beach. So quiet, so relaxing!
The pool is lovely, clean, with many chairs and lounges.
Definitely rent a golf cart to run up and down the path to restaurants, shopping and visit the 2 lighthouses.
Everyone at the realty office was great. Joy is; well a "joy" to work with. From the moment I placed the reservation, Joy was communicating with me, finding out what questioned I may have and giving information on restaurants, rentals, etc.
Overall, we had a spectacular time and can not wait to return!

Gasparilla Island did not disappoint. This was our first time to the island. And our condo helped to make it a dream vacation. It had recently been renovated due to hurricane damage and was absolutely stunning. Was furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay and to cook in a couple of times like we did. Peggie at the front desk was easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had.

Even with evidence all around of the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian, Boca Grande is a little slice of Heaven. Sea Oats 141 was the perfect rental with plenty of space, great views, and all of the amenities. This was the perfect place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet, and experience a beach with only a few people, abundant shells, and gorgeous sunsets. While there are a limited number of restaurants on the island, all were excellent! I do suggest you get a golf cart as it just enhances the experience.

We had a wonderful time in this clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated condo. The unit had all the basics we needed as well as the most comfortable beach chairs (our friends staying other units kept asking to use them!), beach umbrellas, cooler as well as beach and pool toys. The porch had a nice view of the courtyard and pool with the beach in the background. The pool was great for the kids and the beach was beautiful. It was easy to rent golf carts at Kappys (8 minute walk from the condo) and ride to restaurants, grocery, and other parts of the island. We had a great time and would love to return again!

Condo difficulties
Average with partially plugged up bath tub drain, dishwasher difficult to operate, had stuff in its drain, door has to be in certain position to close and cycle, TV went out and generally the place is cluttered particularly the kitchen.

Favorite place in Florida and Favorite place to stay
We have been renting at the sea oats for over 30 years and continue to love it there for the quiet and the perfect beach. The condo was nice, comfortable and well appointed. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly when we had any questions. Our only complaint would be that some things are in disrepair, untidy (ie game drawer) and it could have been a bit cleaner. But overall the positive definitely outweighed these minor factors.

A Little Slice of Heaven
We have stayed at Sea Oats for years. Joy and Dennis's apartment is terrific. It has everything you would possibly need and the corner unit provides lots of extra light. We would stay there again in a minute.

We loved our condo at Sea Oats. The own and property manager very nice. Condo was clean and felt like home. Tons of cookware and items to make sure your stay each. View of beach, just steps away. Great pool and grill area with an herb garden!

My kids loved having the pool and hot tub. I felt like I was in Cozumel the beach and the resort was so pretty with a lot of palm trees. There were sand dollars and shells galore! Thank you Joy!!! This property is absolutely fantastic! All of the little beach touches are wonderful, it’s very spacious. Clean and stocked with everything you would need! The location is perfect – just footsteps from the beach. The condo itself is in fantastic shape and looks to be newly renovated. We had a wonderful time!!
