The cottage location was perfect, easy walking to downtown shops and restaurants. The cottage was clean, cute, well maintained and the tiny kitchen space was set up nicely for the little bit of food prep that we did. The linens and towels were soft and the bed was comfortable. Wilma was a kind and gracious host, and greeted us upon our arrival. We stayed busy the rest of the time since we were only there a short time, but had it been a longer stay she’d be lovely to visit with in the cottage garden. The only mild complaint I’d have was that the cottage had a light musty scent upon arrival. Running the AC cleared that up; and I do think the host mentioned she’d been out of town and unable to open the cottage as she usually would a few days before guests arrived. So I say it only in case someone really has a tough allergy or some reason why this would affect their stay. We enjoyed our stay in Saugatuck and this perfect little hidden gem!

This was so cute and quaint. It is such a cool piece of history and the backyard is beautiful. It was quiet and exactly what I hoped it would be. Wilma is a perfect host. We walked to downtown Saugatuk. There are tons of places to eat and shop. Oval beach is a few minutes away and the dune rides were great. A perfect getaway fall weekend

The perfect cozy place to explore Lake Michigan and Saugatuck. The hostess is so dear and really cares about making your stay the best experience. Her beautiful garden is truly a place for peace and respite. I was sad to leave but will definitely be back for a longer stay.
