About this condo rental
Situated in Harbor Island, this lovely condo for $205 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Relax at this beautiful ocean oasis! Expansive sea views await you. This charming island villa has it all! A luxurious king bed in the master bedroom, both a queen and a twin bed in the second bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room to ensure you have room for everyone--and it is just steps from the beach. There are also two full baths for your convenience, and a fully equipped kitchen. A large dining table that easily seats six and a magnificent covered balcony with a table and chairs for dolphin viewing and relaxing with the beverage of your choice! Plus, it is a corner unit with extra windows. There are cable televisions in both bedrooms and the living room and free wifi! Two outdoor pools are available for your use, as well; and the Beach and Racquet Club is only a block away. You can even bring your pet! Pools typically open April 1, close November 1. Please note: NO swimmy diapers allowed in the BRC or condominium pools. Children in swimmy diapers may use the BRC kiddie wading pool only. Pet policy: dog only, limit one, with payment of non-refundable pet fee of $200 per stay. Dog only, limit one. Pets are allowed on the beach, but must be leashed at all times. Please help keep Harbor Island pet friendly---clean up after your pooch! Renters must be over 25 years of age to reserve our property. *Seasonal dates and rates subject to change. Rates are rent only. Add departure cleaning, 11% SC taxes, 3% booking fee and vehicle gate passes. Gate pass fees are per vehicle: day pass $25; 2 nights $35; 3 nights $45; 4 nights $55; 5 nights $65; 6 nights $75; 7 nights $85, 8-30 nights $140; 31-365 nights $215. Pet fee is $200 per stay. *Property furnishings are subject to change and may not reflect the property pictures. Great location, next to tennis courts and beach

The condo was nice. Plenty of dishes, appliances. Everything worked well. Neighborhood was nice. Pet friendly. Wonderful deck. Great views. The only downside was the beds. They were not comfortable. The mattresses are worn out. You sink down into the bed when you lay on it.

Good place for families. Easy access to 3 pools. Easy walk to the beach. Had a couple maintenance issues, but management was quick to respond and take care of things. Management was extremely nice and easy to work with. This was my first VRBO, and they made the process easy. Only complaint was with nature. Bring the bug spray. Mosquitos, biting flies, and no seeums were extremely bad in morning and evening. But, it is a very relaxing and laid back area. Unit M218 was nice. Had what we needed for vacation and being pet friendly made it a good choice for our family.

We had a great stay on Harbor Island. The property was wonderful and had an amazing view of the beach. This is the perfect spot for a nice, relaxing vacation.

For the extra cost of the amenities paid. Your could provided more dishwasher pods and washer machine powder. So cheap was told to bring own then use it to wash their towels. Door know broke. Was stuck inside until some one came out and took off door know. NO working tv remotes. All needed fresh batteries. Call about remote batteries. They did bring them out. Thank God I called about the remotes needing batteries. That's when the door knob broke. So they got someone out quickly. To top it off the lady who brought out the batteries to us, "said that she had trouble with that door just a few days earlier. Why didn't she get it fixed then, before guest arrived. She had also said she had trouble with the tv remotes.These items need to be taken care when they were first notice there was a problem. The guest bedroom window needs fixing will not close all of the way, which causes howling sounds from the wind blowing. The king size bed the mattress needs to be replaced sags on the left side when facing. Feels like you are going to roll out of bed. I will say it was nicely decorated.

Lovely 2 bedroom , 2 bath with fantastic balcony, view of the ocean and pool. Loved the master king, which can be hard to find. Had some problems with the internet but were contacted with in an hour of calling! Great service!

My fiancé and I came back to Harbor for our second stay, and found this pet friendly unit. The views are beautiful, especially early mornings when you can watch the shrimp boats go by! Unit could have been a little cleaner (ex: found a small hair in shower, walls/base boards need a good scrubbing, and small stains on the sheets) but all in all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. Everyone on the island is so friendly. Hoping all is well after the hurricane!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was great except for the dryer and I contacted management but they were unable to get someone to look at it during our stay. So it was a bit of a bummer not being able to do laundry

Beautiful condo with amazing view of the ocean. This was our second stay in this unit. It was clean and fresh when we arrived. We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year. The only request for improvement I have is that the chest of drawers in the second bedroom be fastened securely to the wall. It has been secured previously but the screw had pulled away from the wall. The drawers are very unstable on the carpet; especially with a TV balanced on top. It made me nervous with my small children being in that room. I hope this is corrected for future guests.

The carpet was filthy & stained. Older unit which needed a deep clean. Definitely could tell there were pets with the odor plus had a musty smell every time you walked in door. We kept getting bit by something both inside & on the balcony. I called and let management know. Great location in gated community.

After driving 10 hours we were denied entry into the property.
Apparently they did not have a second parking pass we requested. I can understand an oversight but we were treated very unprofessionally at the gate. At 7:30 at night we were told to call our booking agent before we would be allowed to go to our rental. The way we were treated was totally unacceptable.
They need a better way to deal with this situation.
We did eventually get in after making a call and waiting for a call back. We were made to feel like we were criminals trying to break in.

We had a nice time at Harbor Island. The property has a well stocked kitchen and we found everything we needed to cook in. Not many restaurants were open during the week so we visited the local fish market for our meals to cook in. Very relaxing and it’s a beautiful beach.

We absolutely love coming to Harbor Island! The rental was beautiful and the view was excellent with a short walk to the beach! The units could stand to be more sound proof. There was constant foot noise from above but we definitely enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be coming back!

We stay on Harbor Island SC one or two times a year. It has almost 3 miles of pristine beach on which you can have your own space, It's natural, quiet, relaxing, and healing. Our stay this time was perfect.
