About this condo rental
Located in Park City, this attractive condo for $200 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Before I go into detail about my place, know that this is managed by owner (me) and I do not have up charges for administration fees or management fees. Rene’s Condo is located just 100 yards from Park City Mountain Resort. It is close enough to walk home for lunch or to enjoy a hot cup of cocoa after a morning of skiing. The walk to groceries and Main Street is easy and is truly a remarkable location to everything. Empire House has a spacious interior with over 800 square feet. It is nicely decorated in contemporary mountain design with wood like flooring and big screen TV's. The great family dining area at the circular table is awesome for eating and entertaining. Rene’s Empire House condo has a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, HD cable TV, free Wi-Fi Internet and private balcony off the master bedroom with use of a BBQ grill. This unit sleeps 4 and is ideal for a small family. Enjoy the King Size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room. Quality linens and towels are also included as well as free underground parking. If you own a vehicle with raised tires or have a storage box ontop, measure it so I know it will clear the entrance of the garage. Please note there are two flights of stairs (approximately 28 stairs) that you must navigate to get to my unit, no elevator!! I am on the second floor, 2c. Our large spacious master bedroom has a very comfortable bed and large bathroom with granite counters and a huge tub/shower combination with a steam mist system which is great for those sore muscles after a long day on the slopes. The tub/shower is separated from the vanity area to provide more privacy to each guest. Off the vanity area is a huge walk-in closet to hold all those bulky ski clothes and jackets. Comfort items like extra bedding and pillows are stored here as well as an iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, etc. The entire unit has radiant floor heating, so walking bare foot through the bathroom is not a problem. Feels wonderful on a chilly morning! Welcome to winter at Utah's Park City, “The Greatest Snow on Earth” with World Class Skiing at Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons Resort and Deer Valley. Park City, known for its International renowned Sundance Film Festival, is truly a unique village. One of the few places in the United States where you can walk off an airplane, hop on a shuttle and be to your destination in less than 40 minutes. Once in the village, there really is no need for a car, free transportation is provided by Park City Municipal Transportation. Besides skiing, there is an array of other winter sports from snowmobiling to ice skating. You can visit the Olympic Park built for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Dare yourself and fly down the bobsled course at 80 miles an hour. Park City has an array of restaurants from fine dining to a sled ride pulled by horses to take you to dinner in a Yurt. My wife and I typically stay in VRBO’s at least 2-3 times a year and have done so regularly for about 20 years. Rena’s place likely tops our list in terms of a rental checking all the boxes. The place was VERY clean, more organized I suspect than most of our homes and had everything and more you’d need for a comfortable stay with a generous sized one bedroom. We are already looking forward to booking our next stay in the future. You won’t be disappointed here!

The inside of this property was outstanding. The owner took great care in supplying everything one would need for a perfect stay. There was only one drawback and it was a big one. Prior to renting this property we specifically asked the owner if there were any stairs as we are in our 70s and 80s. We were assured that there was only a few steps and then a landing and a few more steps. Well, there are 14 steps and then a landing and another 14 steps. 28 very steep steps in all. We struggled to get our luggage up and two small dogs one of which doesn't do steep steps. We stayed as long as we could, but checked out early and found another place to stay. It is a miracle that we didn't have an accident or fall. Every day was exhausting going up and down the stairs several times in a day. No elevator. We read the reviews prior and no one mentioned stairs. Therefore, it was a big surprise to us and we learned a hard lesson with VRBO.

My husband and I, along with our 2 small pups enjoyed a relaxing week in Rene’s Park City Condo. It is located in a great location, is clean and nicely appointed with tasteful decor and very cozy and comfortable. Rene has done an impressive job of stocking and organizing items for renters use, complete with storage labels so it is easy to find whatever you need. Rene is easily reached if questions or concerns and tries to best to make everyone’s stay as nice as possible. The only word of caution would be to alert anyone with any mobility challenges that there are 28-31 stairs to negotiate to access the Condo. We are in our 70’s and our 2 little dogs are seniors & had to be carried up and down the stairs but we were able to manage OK. Great exercise :) Thanks Rene for a great stay!

Wow! What a perfect host! The location was great and the home was simply perfection! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was a walk across the parking lot to the slopes. This host really cares about her home and really wants the guests to have a great experience.

We had a great time staying here - the location is a short ~5 minute walk to the ski slopes, the house was spacious and had everything we needed. Steam shower was a nice bonus too! Communication with the property manager was easy and smooth as well. Would highly recommend this place!

The property was perfect for our family of four with two younger kids. It was spotless and located just across the street from the ski lifts. It was very easy and convenient for us to walk between the ski area and the property each day. Also, the property was so organized and equipped with all the things we need to cook and spend more time on the mountain. We will be back.

We loved Rene’s apartment at Empire House. It is incredibly well appointed with top of the line appliances, fixtures, kitchen ware. The bed and linens are super comfy. It has mountain style with a sophisticated, modern vibe. Rene could not have been nicer or more responsive. We highly recommend this place.

My wife and I have stayed at multiple properties in Park City. We were at this property for 4 nights and this is where we will be staying in the future. Rene is great to work with and makes booking and check-in easy. While the pictures accurately portray the property, it looks even better when you arrive. Check the refrigerator, and pantry before buying anything. Rene, keeps the place well stocked with all of the basics. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness and, functionality of the accommodations. I really liked the furnishing and all of the convenient dimmable lighting and numerous wall outlets. I could tell that a lot of thought went into the layout. The steamer in the shower was awesome after spending the day walking main street. Did I mention the location is excellent if you want to catch a bus or just walk downtown. If you book this property, you will leave wishing you had a few more days to stay! As sated above, I would definitely rent this property again and will recommend it to my friends who frequently visit Park City. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy some downtime.

We think this might be the BEST property we’ve ever stay! The condo is beautifully appointed, fresh, and very cozy. Rene was GREAT and had provided so many little extras to make our stay wonderful. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and were even able to squeeze our oversized pickup into the underground garage. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is and when we come back to PC this will be the first place we check for availability!

This property was terrific! The location close to the Park City ski slopes was ideal and made even better by the underground and secure parking! The steam shower after a day of skiing was perfect and finding things in the kitchen was a breeze. It felt like home and was beautifully decorated.

Rene was very helpful throughout. I appreciated that many of the basics were already stocked (coffee and the right kind of filters for the coffee maker; salt, pepper, sugar, etc.) The location was great: across the street from Park City Mountain lifts, and a short walk one way to the grocery (Village Market, across the street from the liquor store, has more variety than the marginally closer Fresh Market), and the other way to town. We had a car, but didn't need one for most of our visit.

Rene began with excellent communication and helpful tips and hints about Park City. Upon arrival we saw the condo was even better than the pictures! She has excellent taste in decor and the condo is just lovely and so comfortable. It had everything we possibly needed including great coffees and filters, teas, laundry detergent, spices for cooking and great pots, pans and utensils for making any meal. I can't say enough great things about Rene and her condo. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent location for access to the Mountain Village and the lifts. Also easy walking to the historic district (about 10-15 minutes) and a grocery store, and bus stops are also close by. The condo was just great for me and my adult son for 4 nights. The kitchen was especially well stocked and had all the necessary utensils, pots & pans etc. The condo was very clean and the owner was especially attentive and communicative before and during our stay. The only issue we had was noise from the condo above us, and footsteps were easily heard. We also really the steam mister in the shower after a day of skiing. Overall, the condo was great and a good value compared to other condos we considered.

We chose Empire House for its location and charm and it did not disappoint. Rene has thought of all the details and Empire House is a fantastic condo for a ski trip. The location is within easy walking distance to Mountain Village and we were on the lifts in no time. The condo is well stocked with all the necessities so we didn’t have to make a market run for spices and coffee filters. A perfect place for a couple or small family.

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay here. The property was clean, cozy, and extremely well equipped (i.e. make-up wipes, coffee + filters, spices, detergent - both laundry and dishwashing, extra towels, fans, etc.). The steam shower was a huge perk and utilized after a long ski day. The location really could not have been better - it was a 4 minute walk to the slopes and about 15 minute walk to Main Street. Communication with Rene was fantastic and she is an exceptional host! We were worried about transportation once we got to Park City and Rene looked up shuttle and rental car options for us a few weeks in advance - truly above and beyond. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Park City.

Great property and location!!! Very close to downtown as well as hiking and trails. Super clean accommodations with everything we needed to make it a nice stay. Loved the indoor heated parking as it was safe and very convenient. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Park City. We had a great stay. The condo was well stocked. Comfortable bed and great furnishings. Rene is a marvelous host and communicated with us quickly. She also helped me find a fishing guide. Convenient location. If I ever come back to Park City I would likely stay here again. While it was not ski season the condo is across the street from one of the resorts. I recommend both the property and Rene as a host.

The condo was great--it was clean, spacious and a great stop on the final leg of our Southwest road trip.
Just a few notes for future guests that I wish I'd known before our stay--
1) Parking Pass: You'll need to print out a parking pass for the garage. There is a wireless printer in the condo, but I wish there'd have been a pre-printed copy available when we arrived--Or that I'd received it earlier to print at home before we left & not have had to stress/troubleshoot connecting my phone to the printer immediately upon arrival.
2) Stairs: The condo's on the second floor, but there are more than two flights of stairs to navigate to the garage or outside for potty breaks if you're traveling with a pet. It wasn't an issue for us, but it wasn't quite as accessible as I'd thought.
3) Pets: There were quite a few extra rules for pet guests. I understand the need for them & I'm sure the extra rules help to keep the place nice & clean. However, all the extra rules & requests made me extra-anxious. Our pup has always been amazing & we've never had any incidents anywhere before--I'm just overly-conscientious of respecting people's requests & spaces. I wish I'd received all the rules/requests before we left home so I could have packed extra blankets, bedding, etc. & not worried as much.

The property we stayed in was perfect for our needs. It looks nicely updated with a lot of little extras that the owner provided. It was convenient for activities and the mountain. We also walked to downtown and restaurants during our stay. Garage parking was handy as well with a rack for our bicycles.

The apartment was very tastefully decorated and supplied very well with dishes, towels ,etc. However, it was advertised as air conditioned but it turned out to be a room a/ c unit that made much noise and had a bad smell. 2 fans were supplied but did little to cool the space. Also the apartment was on the second floor up steep stairs. Being in our 70s we had a hard time negotiating the stairs. We left 5 days early because of these problems.

From beginning to end, renting from Rene was a fantastic experience. Kitchen is well equipped and labeled. Bathroom is a dream with the steam shower. We had our dog with us as well and the proximity to the dog park and nearby hiking trails was perfect. An easy walk into town as well! If I really had to dig for some issue, it’s that the bed is soft and comfortable, and I’m supposed to sleep on hard mattresses because of a back issue. Imagine most people will love that though! Hope to stay again soon.
