It's a pleasant place for a morning jog, mid-day outing or evening stroll. For more vigorous activity, hike up to the Salmon Creek Reservior and enjoy the peaceful sounds of birds and flowing water, takes about 2 hours. DIPAC, the local salmon hatchery is just around the corner (1.9 miles). There you can learn about the life cycle of salmon and view other local sea life. Watch returning salmon go up the fish ladder and perhaps spot a seal offering motivation. Enjoy a fresh grilled salmon dinner at the Salmon Bake, an outdoor eating experience with live entertainment, located on the bank of Salmon Creek (1.4 mi). Costco (1.7 mi) and Fred Myer (4.3 mi) are nearby grocery stores. For a quick snack or meal-to-go, the Breeze-In Bakery and Deli is a good choice (1.4 mi ).
