Situated in Paia, this lovely house for $349 per night is a great option for your next trip. PLEASE VISIT THE STATE / COUNTY WEBSITES FOR CURRENT COVID INFORMATION Located in central Paia, a short walk to beach, restaurants, bars, grocery, bank, boutiques. A thoughtfully remodeled c. 1934 plantation cottage, 832 SF, with modern amenities. Including: Ceiling Fans in bedrooms, office, living room and kitchen; A/C in bedrooms and office; Full-size fridge, Micro-hood, Dishwasher, oven and induction cooking pads, Toaster Oven; Wifi: Spectrum Cable 200 Internet: No cableTV. Easily log into your accounts using Roku interface: 55" 4K Ultra HD TV in Living Rm.; 40" Samsung HD 1080p TV in Kitchen; Outdoor shower w/ hot water;-) ; Washer and dryer. Propane Gas Grill; Although permitted as a B & B, it is rented to only1 tenant. You will have private use of the home. Up to (2) bedrooms, 1-bath, office Rm, living room and kitchen. Maximum of (4) Guests INCLUDING CHILDREN OF ANY AGE. I sometimes accept shorter bookings , but only within about 30-days of arrival, around longer bookings. I hope that you will understand that accepting short duration reservations far in advance creates Swiss cheese of the booking calendar, and precludes longer bookings. Hotel/Laptop safes in each bedroom. Luna House is well provisioned, probably better than any rental you have experienced. Parking for up to (2) vehicles (by registered guests only) Office Rm.: No one can sleep in the office! It is not a bedroom or nursery. It features a tech desk with ergonomic task chair; Book shelves. Front guest lanai / BBQ area is in the midst of significant upgrades in between bookings. A covered BBQ / cooking area is becoming increasingly functional. It currently has a a sink, interim stainless steel cart, and temporary lighting. Eventually, it will feature counters, electrical, and a bar fridge to facilitate the option for meal preparation in a lanai courtyard setting. I could not imagine having a better stay in Paia. The location is walking distance to shops, restaurants, yoga, and the beach. The home itself felt like a true home away from home and there were so many small details that made the stay wonderful. The outdoor shower, lanai area, beach supplies, and well-appointed kitchen were some of our favorites.

The location is easy walking distance of downtown shops/restaurants and local beaches...it's in the heart of everything. We'll absolutely try to book again next time we are in Maui!

Great stay in Paia
Location of house is within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, many shops and a short drive to beautiful countryside. Well cared for home with well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the outside shower and patio area with water feature and beautiful plants and trees. Our family of four was very comfortable and enjoyed our two week stay very much. Jim is a great host. Highly recommended rental.

Best Part of Our Maui Trip!
My 8 yo daughter and I loved staying in Paia at Jim's amazing oasis. We both felt so comfortable and happy there. The outdoor shower and getting a shaved ice from across the street were my daughter's fave daily activities. I loved walking down to the private turtle beach and having so many magical moments there. I could go on and on about how wonderful and lucky we felt that we got to stay at Jim's vrbo location. Thank you so much Jim!!!

Jim was amazing and so eager to make sure all our needs were met. The plantation style house had all the amenities you could ever want and MORE! The house is located a short walk away from the center of Paia which was very nice. If we ever return to Paia again, the Luna House is where we will stay.

If all you want to do is sit on 1 beach and have overpriced drinks delivered to you, this is not the place for you. This is for those of you who want to have adventures, explore and get some privacy too!
Paia is a great little town and you can walk to multiple shops, coffee, restaurants all within 5 mins of your front door. I recommend the car to go to the beach (never had a problem finding parking), but that is just a 5 minute drive away. You'll want the car to carry all the toys, towels and umbrellas (the house is well stocked with gear!). Just down the road is a nice beach with plenty of snorkeling and turtles, if you walk over to Secret Beach, look along the sea wall as we saw about 200!!! turtles swimming and eating.
During our stay (one of many to Maui) we hit up just about every part of the island from Hana to Lahaina to Wailuku to Wailea. Lots of beaches and plenty of fresh fish and fruit to prepare your own meals in your own kitchen (or just order take out or dine in!).
Very well equipped house, great host (Jim), nice neighbors and an awesome location. I would definitely stay here again!

AMAZING!!! I would stay forever if I could
This was the best property we've ever stayed at on any of our travels!!! The Luna House was absolutely lovely - clean, relaxing, and well stocked. A bunch of beach equipment and kitchen items were made available to us, and the property manager Jim was an absolute joy to meet! The home has a lovely porch setting in the front, and a huge beautiful kitchen. The walkability of the neighborhood is incredible, lots of great restaurants and shops around, live music some nights at the club nearby, a health food store, a great beach just minutes away! Paia is in a perfect location, only a short 15 minutes from the airport. Truly, we wish we never had to leave! Mahalo nui loa Jim, we hope to be back very soon!!!

Lovely getaway!
The Luna house is set up perfectly with all the accommodations you need for a relaxing stay. We loved the access to the beach equipment! Loved the bohemian vibes and all the extra attention to details ! We hope to be back again someday . Thanks again Jim!

Excellent location comes with some town noise
The location is excellent in terms of walking distance to town, restaurants and the beach. The house is very clean and well appointed; the host is excellent. There is a restaurant bar across the alley that played live music till midnight 4 out of the 8 nights we stayed there requiring the use of the AC unit to drown out the noise. There are also chickens in the rear yard that wake up early but this seems to be a thing everywhere on Maui.

Thoughtful Details
James met us on our arrival and was very welcoming and explained everything in detail. Very nice guy. He's done such a great job and remodeling his place and making it everything you could want in a vacation home. Loved how it was so close to restaurants, the beach and major Maui sights. I highly recommend it!

If you want a real Hawaiian experience in a very Hawaiian town, you must pick the Luna House. The house was beautiful and James was the best host we have ever had. His attention to detail is second to none. You will not be disappointed.
