The location was great, very close to Galata Tower, coffee shops, restaurants, and the famous Istiklal Street. While the hotel was small and did not have any facilities, it was clean, modern and comfortable, all you need in order to rest before spending the entire day exploring Istanbul. There was no breakfast option, but with all the cafes and restaurants close by, who needs a hotel breakfast? There was ample complimentary bottled water provided in the bar fridge.
There was no hotel lobby and public ablutions, this would have been convenient but was not a major issue.

We chose the hotel mainly for it's location. Couldn't believe other people's reviews about it being on a quiet street (coz nothing is quiet in Galata area or Istanbul in general hah :) but it was indeed a super calm and quiet little street with a great walking access to anything! Room was small but clean as well as the bathroom. Bottled water was free of charge and within reach right outside the rooms. Owner was easy to communicate with.
The bed was a bit lopsided and pillows could have been a bit better

Easy communication. Nice decor and comfortable bed. Very clean throughout and great layout. Excellent location, walking distance to everything! Cute rooftop lounge area.
Toilet needs fixing, was coming away from wall and cistern running and filling constantly. Upstairs aircon unit right outside window was noisy at times.
