Some of the staff tried to charge us way extra for SIM card (70€ only for a month. But, by searching around the city we could find something more cheaper (10€ for the same period)). They also offered us 5000 Turkish lira to get us to the hizli tren station which is 5 kilometres far away from the location, but luckily we could order a taxi for 700 turkish lira .They forcefully grabbed our luggages to put it into his personal car but I didn’t let them to do it. Be aware and don’t trust the staff when it comes to money. JUST IGNORE THEM.

The only good rating is for the excellent and helpful staff who helped us a lot with everything.
The room provided was big and bed was comfortable.Had good view from the room.
We were provided room on the other building that did not had lift due to late checkin.The stair was narrow and spiral making it difficult to use with kid and baggage. The bathroom fittings were broken and falling off while in use. Spotted a bug in the room as well.Room service was not done on the 2nd day.

Tolle Lage, für jemand wie uns, der gerne zu Fuss geht. Taksim Platz, Galataport, Galatabrücke alles fußläufig gut erreichbar. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon im 5. Stock. War klein, aber fein, mit Blick auf den Galataturm. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Wasser gab es kostenlos und auch zusätzlich nochmal auf Rückfrage. Speisesaal hat eine phänomenale Aussicht. Und für den extra kick gibt es noch die Dachterasse im 6. Stock. Mega Blick...
Gut, man muss einfach realistisch sein, dass die zentrale Lage, direkt in der Altstadt, natürlich nicht ruhig ist. Uns hat es wenn nur Nachts manchmal etwas gestört. Sonst gab es wirklich nichts zu meckern.

We were upgraded to the deluxe double with balcony on the 3rd floor. The size of the room was around 18m2 but the bathroom was absolutely tiny with very little space to put your toiletries/belongings etc (approx 1.5m2).
The view from the balcony was lovely but as we were sightseeing most of the day, we didn't have much time to appreciate it. The breakfast on the 5th floor was decent enough with some variety between the days but nothing outstanding.
I read other reviews about the location of the hotel being on a quiet side street off one of the main streets in Galata. This is true, however, the "quiet side street" is more like a back street alley with lots of rubbish lining both sides. It felt safe enough, but if I were alone, I wouldn't choose to stay in that hotel.
As mentioned, the bathroom is absolutely tiny with no space to store any of your belongings. This was not clear from the photos.
There is a small lift in the hotel serving all floors but it is very slow and even stopped working during our stay.
The location, albeit quiet, was on a side street that looked slightly run down. The Galata area in general is lovely, however, to walk to/ from the hotel to the Karaköy tram stop is a pretty steep incline walk and can feel a little slippery when raining. If you are apprehensive with walking steep inclines, I would recommend staying closer to the top of the funicular (Beyoğlu)/ Southern end of İstiklal Street (pedestrian shopping street).

El trato del personal de cafetería en el desayuno y recepción, así como el personal de limpieza. La dirección nos obsequió con regalo de bienvenida. Felicito a todo el equipo.

Είναι όλα μια απάτη ειλικρινά μην πάτε ποτέ σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο. Είναι η χειρότερη επιλογή που θα κάνετε. ( θα το δείτε και στις φωτογραφίες που θα ανεβάσω). Ειναι βρόμικο το ξενοδοχείο, σε μέρος που δεν είναι ασφαλές όλος ο δρόμος είναι με σκουπίδια γεμάτος και με αδέσποτα επειδή το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκετε πίσω από εστιατόρια μαγαζιά. Ειλικρινά αν είστε με οικογένεια ούτε να το σκεφτείτε να μείνετε σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο προς φυλάξει των παιδιών σας. Είναι κλέφτες και θέλουν προσοχή. Σας το ξαναλέω μην πάτε ποτέ εκεί.
Τα δωμάτια, η ρεσεψιόν, ότι κλείσαμε άλλο δωμάτιο και μας έδωσαν άλλο. Ότι είναι κλέφτες.

Everything was great in our stay, cleanliness , staff , room and breakfast.
Bed was very comfort , very good isolated room ( sound and temperature).
Communication with the hotel was also great.
Breakfast was more than expected .
Staff never save any efforts to help with smile.
Shortly , we enjoyed our stay here too much.

В этом отеле я останавливаюсь уже второй раз и думаю последующие разы буду выбирать его, потому что мне очень нравится сервис этого отеля, внимание каждого сотрудника, забота. Но самое главное это его расположение. Отель находится в 20 метрах от Галатской башни, при этом в спокойном переулке, где по ночам тихо. Чуть-чуть пройти и вы оказываетесь в гуще событий. Рядом станция метро Шишхане (зеленая ветка), остановки автобусов там же, в 10 минутах ходьбы паромная станция Каракёй. От этого отеля пешком мы ходили до Галатского моста, до Галатапорта, до Каракёй района, до Истикляль и Таксим площади. При желании можно и до мечетей дойти (думаю займет минут 40 прогулки). Но, кстати, если дойти до остановки Трамвая Т1 то можно до мечетей доехать очень быстро.
Что касается завтрака, то выбор разнообразный. Изо дня в день не сильно меняется. Но мы были 5 дней и нам не наскучило ни чуть. Кофе фильтр, чай, соки. Из горячего всегда есть яичница, сосиски, фри и еще что-то на выбор типа слойки или тушенных овощей. Фрукты, орехи, оливки, джемы, тостер и разные виды хлеба, сладкая выпечка, салаты, овощи, закуски.
Завтра продается на 5 этаже с красивым видом на Золотой рог (на Босфор и мечети).
В номерах белье и полотенца меняли каждый день, мусор выносили и ванные принадлежности всегда были. В номере есть тапочки, салфетки сухие, чайник, пакетики чая, кофе растворимого, вода каждый день пополняется, сейф и холодильник.
В день заезда мы получили комплимент от отеля (на фото), было очень приятно.
Очень рекомендую этот отель. Останавливаясь в нем чувствуется забота, но при этом уединение в шумном стамбуле. При выезде предложили трансфер, мы воспользовались. Цена хорошая для такого расстояния до нового аэропорта, всего 30$, но нам было двое всего. Может на большую компанию дороже. Спрашивайте на ресепшн, они отзывчивые и всегда помогут подскажут.

Понравилось все. Специально искала отель в этом районе, поэтому расположение было идеальным для меня. Шумно не было. Вид из окна шикарный, на Золотой рог. Завтраки понравились. В номере тепло. В дождь возле входа стоит зонтик - мелочь, а приятно. Сотрудники приготовили сюрприз на день рождения - тортик с поздравительной запиской. Было очень приятно.
В ресторане небольшой выбор блюд, но это не критично. Рядом много мест, где можно поесть.

Проживали с дочкой в отеле с 15 по 22.01.24 г. При заселении предоставили номер категории выше , чем был забронирован. Это был для нас сюрприз , так как на следующий день приезда, у меня был день рождения. Номер превзошел все ожидания. Большой плюс- наличие лифта в отеле. Особенно для тех кто не любит ходить по лестнице. Расположение отеля 10 из 10. Минута от Галатской башни . Очень близко метро, все автобусные остановки , трамваи, можно добраться до известных достопримечательностей довольно быстро и легко. Знаменитая улица Истикляль - 5 минут от отеля. Завтрак на веранде , на 5 этаже с видом на город и на Галатскую башню- это просто ВАУ. Завтракать с такими видами- одно удовольствие! Отдельная тема это персонал отеля. Первый человек которого хочется отметить и выразить огромную благодарность, это Sevgi- менеджер по работе с гостями. Начала работу с нами еще до заезда в отель , по переписке, объяснила как добраться до отеля, какие есть предпочтения, и т.д.. Предоставила по приезду номер выше категории, а как меня красиво поздравили с Днем Рождения, с шариками, шикарным тортиком и подарочками от отеля....я никогда не забуду!!!!!! Такого теплого отношения менеджера к своим гостям , как у Sevgi , я нигде пока не встречала. Где бы вы не были, в отеле, за его пределами, ночью, она всегда вам поможет и подскажет , ответит на любой ваш вопрос и запрос! За 2 дня до отьезда она снова меня порадовала сюрпризом от отеля и бутылкой хорошего вина. Это было безумно приятно! Каждый день она с вами на связи 24/7, и это реально правда! Вы никогда не потеряетесь и не останетесь без внимания с Севги! Мы полюбили ее всей душой! Лучшая из лучших!!! Севги- наша любовь! Ребята администраторы Акин, Реха и Онур просто супер. Английский полностью понятный, всегда на связи, всегда с улыбкой, все подскажут, посмеются с тобой, даже начертят вам путь, если не знаете дорогу. Узнают любой ваш запрос и решат проблему. Ребята, огромный вам привет! Уже скучаем по всем вам и хотим вернуться!

La stanza era grande e comoda ,forse servirebbe qualche panca per appoggiare valige ,era fornita di bollitore e tazze per caffè e tè,cambio asciugamani giornaliero e set di cortesia sempre presente ,incluso ciabatte ,la vista dalla camera meravigliosa, La colazione ottima ,salata e dolce,molto ricca con yogurt ,frutta secca ,affettati ,verdure,bevande di ogni tipo ,anche caffè americano e la terrazza dove si fa colazione è meravigliosa con vista su Sultanamhet e le mosche.La posizione ottima per vivere la sera un pò di movimento .E se volete evitare la salita da Karakoy c'è la funiculare.
il bagno è un pò piccolo ,tipo cabina telefonica ,con lavandino piccolo e senza spazio o mensole per appoggiare qualcosa(creme ,profumi),ma la doccia era grande e spaziosa ,sempre calda .Il condizionatore /riscaldamento è posizionato sulla testiera del letto e fa un leggero rumore anche se spento ,che può essere fastidioso per chi ha sonno difficile come mè,hanno mandato un tecnico che non ha risolto il problema ....Ma dopo qualche giorno non ci facevo più caso

The person at the reception was super nice and helpful, which made everything easier.
Despite the noise issue, the hotel contacted me and assured me it was a one-time problem they would fix.
Since my overall experience was excellent, I agreed.
I was thinking about how to rate this hotel, and I ended up giving it a 8 because of some noise from water pipes behind the wall. Luckily, I always travel with earplugs, so it didn't bother me too much.
However, it could have been a sleepless night without them, as I really need quiet after 10 PM to get a good rest

Asked the first night to change bedsheet, remove the moschito, and give us towels. They changed just our pillow covers.
We talked to a nice receptionist who told us that the day after he would have spoken to the cleaning crew manager.
Second night, after a whole day around, we found out that our bedroom was NOT DONE!
We asked to do it (8pm) and the receptionist (another one) called the person in role but just towels have been changed.
Then we claimed it again (after 40 mins) and the receptionist told us that he has asked to do it and that now there was no more any person to do our room.
Not only the discomfort, but also the extreme presumption of the receptionist who was going on repeating “What can I do?” really made bad our evening.
No apologies, nothing.
The breakfast is poor, especially sweets, and fruit is not well cleaned.
Unfortunately I have to spend other 2 nights there at the end of our holiday, but to be honest, if I found another stay I would have changed.
Hope to receive a better treatment and a much cozier room.

Good breakfast on the top floor with amazing view to the city - it was the only good point of the stay.
First, I had a problem with payment - before the check-in the hotel was trying to charge me outside of booking payment system, so even though my card was confirmed by booking my bank was declining the transaction of the hotel. Few stressful days and I ended up paying with the link provided by hotel. Upon my arrival I was asked to pay again, only the fact that I had screenshots of the proof of payment saved the situation. Second, the hotel has some standart rooms on minus floors with the view to the wall, no sun and metal grilles on the windows, and it was my room to my surprise. Very depressing. Third, when I checked in at 15h there was no towels in my room. When I asked a grumpy young men on the reception about it, he said I need to wait few hours because there aren't any available at the moment. I has a long sleepless night flight and was exhausted and I could not even wash my hands, let alone take shower.
The walls are super thin, so one can hear any noise from the rooms next door all night, I was woken up by the neighbor kids at 3 am.
There was a terrible smell of sewage in the shower cabin.
The hotel is located in the historical center but on the small back street, it looked very dirty, stinking and not safe at night.
The last cherry on top: when I was checking out the reception guy asked me to rate the hotel on booking giving them 5 stars, they are providing big discount and free upgrade for the next stay for this. Now I understand why this hotel has such a top rating. I am not sure this is even legal to trade low prices for 5 star reviews on booking.
Summing up, it was my first time in Istanbul and it was kinda ruined by all of the above.

The staff (especially the relation manager) was very friendly and helpful! The location was great. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the views that we could see from the terrace while having breakfasts every morning.
The shower room had lots of mildew. It seemed like no one had cleaned the shower-room for a long time, based on how much mildew there was.
