Situated in Depoe Bay, this charming condo for $149 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. "By The Bay" is a responsible, adults-only establishment. We are not a party house. We have a lot of Regular Guests who enjoy a quiet place to stay. We require at least a seven-day stay. "By The Bay" shares one of the most spectacular, ever-changing, Ocean Views on the entire coast with "Tidal Raves", one of the most popular Ocean Front Restaurants. The Wave Action is different every day. Unique, Exciting, and therapeutic, especially during Frequent Winter Storms. Don't forget the ever-changing sky also! We also enjoy a Marine Garden View during low tides. The Charter Boats come into our view as they find the Whales. Enjoy the Hanging, Wicker Chair, located in the covered, wind-protected Patio with a full Ocean view. It is quite an unexpected pleasure. With a 30-day stay, there is no tax required.

This place is super cute, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, there is a washer and dryer and is comfortably furnished. The view of the beach is an added perk, it’s great couples getaway, it’s quiet and easy to get to.

We enjoyed our stay even though we had doubts about the apartment being next to Highway 101. Thankfully, because of the double pane windows, traffic sounds were kept to a minimum. The bedroom is at the back of the home with a comfortable bed. There is a nice kitchen with most everything you need for cooking and a gas barbecue set up outside. We especially liked the location and being able to watch grey whales in Depoe Bay. Recommended!

My daughter and I stayed for a few days. The weather was gorgeous. Walt is very quick to respond and accommodating! They have everything you might need, a very well stocked perfect little bungalow. I would stay again:)

Accommodations were very nice! There were lots of nice amenities such as USB ports in the bedroom lamps, CD’s with a Bose stereo - music of all genres, wonderful view of the ocean, walking distance to lovely shops, nice protected patio with BBQ, excellent parking area. The full kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. It was lovely to meet Walt as well. We felt at home.

It had everything we could need with plenty of room, even 2 sets of binoculars. Comfortable bed and a great shower head. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of cleaning supplies.
Tidal Raves across the street is our favorite restaurant in Depoe Bay. It’s also close to plenty of other restaurants and the cliff trail.

We loved this little vacation rental! So easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and activities, and a short drive to Taft and Lincoln City for anything we couldn’t find in Depoe Bay! No cleaning fee was a BIG draw, and the checkout expectations were no more than what we would normally do! So grateful for a simple spot to enjoy our time away without breaking the bank. Thank you!

Directly across the street from Tidal Raves restaurant which is spectacular and easy walk to all of the town. Ocean view is awesome. Owner was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out the TV the first afternoon and made sure it was working when we got back from a day trip the following afternoon.
Too much “stuff” (decorations & knick-knacks) for my personal taste. But I’m a minimalist so your mileage may vary!
Windows facing the ocean didn’t open so we had to open the front door to hear the waves and get a cross breeze, but there was no screen door so we didn’t leave it open. We book ocean front exclusively to be able to hear the waves and get the cross breeze so that was disappointing.

Great location. Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Great view of the ocean with whales visible from the dining table. The patio is a great place to sit and enjoy a game of cards in the evening. Also, a great restaurant right across the street.

My sister and I had a girls weekend at the coast. We found this house and loved it. We have stayed here twice. We can walk the town of Depoe Bay, eat at the wonderful restaurant across the street and watch whales from the patio . The house is well equip for our needs. Yes we will be back.

We really enjoyed our time in depoe bay. The house was within walking distance to all the shops and several restaurants. The decor in the house was interesting and mismatched but that didn’t matter to us too much! This is the first place I’ve stayed where we had to do the cleaning ourselves but you don’t have to pay a cleaning fee so it works out well. The owner Walt is friendly and responsive to messages.
I thought the listing said the bed was a Queen but it was definitely a full so that was a bummer. Overall we would stay here again!

This lovely little apartment was a gem in the heart of Depoe Bay! You can walk to all the ocean front stores from the front door. You can sit in the covered porch to enjoy the beautiful ocean across the street. We truly enjoyed our stay here!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the little outside patio. We had our coffee there, looking out at the bay. The property had everything we needed. We were very comfortable.

Many VRBO places you can tell it’s just a way to make an income. This place is so clean and well kept, cozy. Right across the street from the ocean. My husband loved the patio area. We would absolutely return if they accepted dogs.

Overall the home was perfect for us without a real complaint to have! We even saw whales spouting from the house! My only suggestion is cleaning the spiderwebs from the ceiling of the patio would have made a more comfortable spot to sit as it was so lovely.

Great property for a weekend getaway! The space is well planned for spending time indoors with a great view of the waves on the rocks. Outside is an enclosed patio with a large window making visiting outside cozy without losing the view. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely book again!

We were here fore our 21st anniversary weekend. Had such a wonderful weekend. Felt like we were at home here. Had everything we needed and close to everything. Comfortable chair and couch, dining table in front of windows so you really had a view from every seat. Loved the fireplace too! Plus the private patio is a great little getaway from the wind and rain and still be outdoors. Do recommend taking a spider stick as the little boogers like to come back quick. LOL
We decided to hike down to the beach on the rope trail. We made it...not bad for 63 and 57yo! LOL Recommend The Horn for food. Tidal Raves is great, but a bit over priced but very convenient across the street. The Horn is a nice walk through town by the bridge.
We had a great view of the ocean. Very close to a couple parks and of course the spouting horn is just down the street.
Highly recommend this place. You will have a great time.

What a wonderful, cute rental! We were so surprised how big it was. It has a great view of the waves crashing on the rocks. We parked and never moved our car the weekend we stayed here. We walked to restaurants and yo watch the spouting horn. Pretty much everything you need is here. Walt was amazing and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Very easy check in! Property was warm and had nice music playing. A very nice note from the property owner was left for us. It talked about places to visit in the area, WiFi info, how to get in touch with him if we had questions!
There is a lovely little patio and swing right out the front door. It was a little to cold this trip, 30 degrees to fully enjoy it.
Inside had 3 large windows looking out to the bay/ocean, spectacular. Kitchen had everything we needed! The shower had wonderful pressure. We used the fireplace and just totally enjoyed ourselves!

This was a great location located in the middle of everything we wanted to do.
We were afraid of noise from the restaurant next door but we had the best sleep ever never hearing anything but the waves.
If we return to Oregon again this is where we will book!

A lovely stay. Would recommend to anyone traveling in the area. The place is comfortable and conveniently located. Was really nice to work out on the private patio. Note that you'll hear the highway out on the patio but we could not hear the highway at all while inside.
