About this cottage rental
Located in North Frontenac, this lovely cottage for $161 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This cottage is located within a small family campground five minutes drive from Bon Echo Provincial Park. The cottage, beach and entire campground is child friendly. Parents can watch their children walk to the beach only steps away from the cottage. The land is mainly wooded and sits on a small, quiet lake. Perfect for day trips into the Provincial Park, or you can spend your days barbecuing and laying on the sand beach of Little Marble Lake. Located in the center of the campground and close to the shore, it boasts two bedrooms, a huge kitchen, living room, sunroom, and a 3 piece washroom. Wake up each morning to the call of the loons and a view of the lake. And best of all, you're only steps away from the beach. Fully furnished, Bon Echo Cottage comes with fridge, stove, microwave, TV, wi-fi, pots & pans. All you have to do is bring your own pillows, bed linen, towels and toiletries. NOTE: *** COVID-19 MEASURES: Our cottage is professionally cleaned and sanitized after each occupancy. *** Includes 2 hours free use per day of watercraft (canoe, kayak, pedal boat, paddleboard and life jackets). NOTE: There is limited privacy at this cottage with campers walking about the grounds and there are RVs(trailers) positioned nearby and along the water front. If you don’t mind staying in a cottage with other people around then you will be ok. Quietest times are during the week, and the months of May/June, Sept/Oct. HOUSE RULES No smoking, parties, events, or pets. No strong cooking odours (ex: fish, curries, etc), outdoor BBQ supplied. Clean up after yourself before you leave (premises and fire pit). TIPS Bring cash to pay for incidentals like wood, Wifi, store items. Bring see-through bags to put your recycling in (as required by the garbage company). EXTRA PERSONS 14+ YRS The nightly rate includes two adults and children under 14 yrs from the same household. Additional persons over 14 yrs and older are subject to an additional fee of $20/person/night. This website does not enable us to add this fee at the time of booking so you will be asked to pay this separately. DAMAGE, MISSING ITEMS, MESS Any damage, missing items, garbage or mess found after your departure will be charged to you. Please clean up after yourself and clean out the fire pit.

Being a campground/trailer park community It is safe and wonderful for kids. The playground and the sandy beach are wins. The cottage itself is old and musty. It is clean. Don’t forget to pack all of your linens, pillows and blankets.

This is a simple cottage, exactly as described. This is a family campground with lots of kids around. Great for young kids to find a friend and to play at the beach, or bike around.
Take the canoe or peddleboat out with the kids, go fishing or swim.

I was looking for fun in the sun with my granddaughter and some me time too. I was able to enjoy both. The beach and swimming area were perfect for my granddaughter as it was shallow which was comfortable for her to play and for me not to worry. I enjoyed the water too. I did have a day to myself where I enjoyed a nice kayak ride around the lake. The cottage was roomy and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

It's a great spot for kids... we went from playground, cottage, camp store to beach and back again all day long. The water is shallow and sandy, which was ideal with small children. As the listing suggests, there is limited privacy and the cottage is dated-- but things were comfortable, drivers on the laneway out front were conscientious and my daughter had fun with new friends. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely quiet time away here. Lots of walking and relaxing. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We hope to return.

Decent Cottage but was surprised that the doors keys were not readily available. As mentioned, having no exhaust and the window kept open was an easy entry for mosquitoes/bugs in the shower aside from excess humidity. Also the tub in the shower was very slippery. Otherwise all okay.

We have all (4 of us) been to this property many times in the past, and love the location and the people.

Our week was fabulous! The cottage was clean and cozy. The beach was great for younger kids. The people were very friendly. The only issue some people may have is the wifi is not great and there is no cell service. Also, I suggest adding that people bring clear recycled bags with them.

Had a great stay at this rustic cottage, beds were great & very clean. They beach is at your doorstep and the water and lake are fantastic. No problems with check in or covid cleanliness. Very friendly park!

The owners were friendly, check in was quick and professional. The cottage was large, and although a little dated, it was clean and the advertisement for the cottage was spot on. I loved sitting at the kitchen table at breakfast and being able to look out at the lake or sitting down at the clean sandy beach. Everything was great can't wait to go back!!
