Nestled in Santa Ynez, this charming house for $435 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Come enjoy our cozy Homestay at a prime location in the town of Ballard! (Solvang) Cook like a pro in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, BBQ at the covered patio or just relax and enjoy the awesome view with a glass of local wine or craft beer. Walking distance to Rideau, Buttonwood, Lincourt wineries & mini horse ranch! Free use of our 6 bicycles! Approx 5 minutes by car to Solvang center, Los Olivos and Santa Ynez. 30-40 minutes to Santa Barbara Beaches! As, we offer instant booking, just a little info about yourself and who you are traveling with is appreciated! **** We offer 15% discount for stays of 7 or more days and 30% off for full month bookings. (Automatically applied when you enter your dates) Our Solar Powered property is approached by 1/4 mile of driveway lined with 25+ foot tall cypress trees. This 3bed/2bath home is about 300 feet from our Main Home. It has a well equipped kitchen, whole house water filter, dining table for 6 people, WiFi, smart TV in living room and comfortable L shaped couch. Super Comfy beds! King size bed in Master. Queen size in both other bedrooms. All have TV's with cable service. Darts game. Corn Hole game and Foosball table in the Garage. Walking distance to wineries, 6 bicycles to use at no charge, etc... Guest Access: There is a beautiful pond on the property that our guests may enjoy during daylight. It has its own little beach and boat docked on it. The water fall also acts as an aeration and filtration system for the Fish. ( Blue gill and Catfish,) ** Kids under 12 years of age, only allowed with responsible adult supervision. ** No swimming or entering the pond and boat allowed! Interaction with Guests: My wife Hilde and I enjoy a nice chat with our Guests, but will always provide and respect their peace and privacy. You may text, call or email with any questions or requests. The Neighborhood: Ballard (Solvang), the center of the Santa Ynez Valley was the first town that settled here in the late 1800's! Surrounded by vineyards, mountains, horse ranches, farms and schoolhouses, you feel as you have arrived in a time warp of sorts where simple pleasures, mossy oaks, grassy fields, and warm sunny days are found. We feel so fortunate to live here, closely guard its quiet serenity and are grateful for all the beauty, amenities, world class wineries, restaurants, breweries, and shopping this Valley has to offer. A Beautiful route to the charming towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, Solvang or Buellton takes only 5 to 10 minutes by car or make a loop and enjoy the scenery on our bicycles, provided to you at no charge!

We drove up the coast for a golf trip with another couple, trying to avoid El Niño rains late December - March. Wouldn't you know we were rained out anyways!! That being said, we spent most of our time enjoying this great house. It was perfect for our group and we enjoyed the cozy living area and fireplace while watching movies. The house was very well equipped and the host was super responsive. The location is great for wineries, restaurants and golf! Thanks for a lovely visit.

This is a well maintained property with good views. Kitchen area is well designed and easy to navigate. The living room has a comfortable large couch and there is additional group seating on the back patio as well. Garage has a fun foosball table and darts for guests to use. Don't miss out on all the great birds and the bunnies!

Peaceful with nice views, comfy beds, near to attractions. Pros: location for wineries, Solvang, well-kept, clean, roomy. Kitchen was stocked. Cons: none, really. There's a whole house fan (but we didn't know so used the AC one day). Great communication. We recommend highly.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Complete accuracy on the description. Things were even better, particularly the morning noises during coffee on the patio. Tractors in the distance, goats, cows, not disturbing by any means. Just right sitting in the sun.

We loved staying at this fully upscale home. It had everything needed to feel at home while away. The entire home was fully equipped, comfortable, and in a perfect locations… literally 10 minutes from great restaurants and quaint towns. It was very private and while sitting outdoors we saw falling stars. Perfect location and very comfortable. As good (better) than it gets!

The house was clean, roomie and had an ample amount of amenities. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable with TVs and blackout blinds. Open concept kitchen/living room was spacious with an island to belly up to which is great for entertaining. Covered, comfortable back patio with great views and fruit trees a stones throw away. Great for morning coffee and pastries and evening pizza (Ginos) and wine. Perfect location near Solvang, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, vineyards and other great places. The owner (Kris) is very accommodating.

We were so pleased with this property. The location is convenient to Santa Ynez, Solvang, and Los Olivos, making it easy to explore and easy to get back to rest between activities. The house is perfectly appointed, and the back yard is so peaceful. Great stargazing, too! I will definitely be back.

We stayed here for three nights while wine tasting in the Santa Ynez area. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped with lovely views and good proximity to the lovely town of Ballard (one mile away). We prepared two meals and the kitchen and grill both held up well.
The host was courteous and efficient.

We try to come to the area every year with our friends and have stayed in this lovely home several times and love it so much. The area has such great wine tasting and vineyard experiences along with a number of really good restaurants. The only thing I would say as a suggestion is that it's probably time for new mattresses in the bedrooms. We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our 3 nights at this beautiful gated community. The house is clean, comfortable and has Everything you need. The only thing missing was a third bathroom, only because we were 3 couples. We would definitely rent this home again should we come up with one other couple.

This property is so special - it's the perfect house for a weekend getaway in wine country. The house itself is so charming and the view of the vineyards is breathtaking. You can't beat the location either! Close enough to everything to be easy, but secluded enough to not feel like you're on top of anyone. Kris made the whole process a breeze. This is a beautifully appointed home in the middle of a winery with all the amenities you would need. There are comfortable beds, plenty of dinnerware, glasses and flatware. And visits by the pups, Rocco and Ozzy were a welcome treat. We look forward to our next visit.

We had an amazing time staying at this lovely property for our 10 year anniversary. The house exceeded our expectations and had all the accommodations we needed to enjoy ourselves. Kris was a great host, and was easy to get a hold of if we needed anything, and a pleasure to chat with. The property is beautiful and the pond was a nice little treat for a sunset romantic drink at the end of the day. All the utilities are high end, beds are comfortable, the AC works great (It was super hot this week, in the triple digits) and very close proximity to vineyards and tasting rooms, and good restaurants near by. Unfortunately for us, it was too hot to take advantage of the bikes in the garage, otherwise we would have rode to the winery just down the road. Overall, this is a very nice home to get away and have some peace and quiet in the country side....very romantic! We'll be back!!

The house was just as advertised. it is clean and comfortable. it has everything anyone needed to relax and cook some meals. it is centrally located in the valley with short drive to town and wineries. The owner was very nice and communication was easy and clear. And, it also came with a greatf friendly guard dog :) The only thing I would suggest is somehow find a way to shut off the motion lights in the backyard. Star gazing in the Santa Ynez Valley is a wonderful relaxing activity after dark with a great glass of wine in hand.
