Stayed at this location for the Metallica concert weekend in November 2023. They are located above Sister Cities Cajun. Fantastic people! Incidentally, they also have amazing food downstairs in their restaurant. The space was huge for the three of us, comfortable, and it was private. We were never disturbed by the restaurant downstairs and it was quiet and peaceful. They are also very kind, accommodating, and easy to work with. You are close to STL and a quaint neighborhood within walking distance (that we actually walked) with shops and other eatery’s. Water pressure is a bit low if you have a bigger party and internet connection is very low if at all but if you’re staying busy or have plans it’s about the same as staying in a hotel. Will 100% stay again and if I need a place to stay in the area, will rent again.

We did not even stay here, this property should not be on rental, the neighborhood was undesirable, the home itself was not in good shape, and the entire area felt unsafe!!!!!

We had a nice time and found a lot to do in the area. The owner is very nice. Only suggestion would be to remove personal clothes and items in the apartment. That was a little weird all else was great.

The property was spacious and clean. There are modern appliances and the apartment is comfortable (temperature, furnishings, etc. ). It’s located in the Soulard neighborhood, so it’s close to downtown and has easy access to the highway. In addition, the host is very friendly. We’d probably stay there again, but we’d be better prepared next time.
So why 4 stars instead of 5? The bathrooms.
There were 2 couples on our trip and we chose this location specifically because it had 2 bathrooms and we wanted somewhere where 2 people could be showering at the same time. Unfortunately, that wasn’t feasible. The low water pressure made it hard for one person to shower at a time and still get shampoo out of their hair.
To my preparedness comment, there were no shower amenities whatsoever. No soap, no shampoo, conditioner, etc. We checked in late evening after being outside in 90+ degree heat all day, so it was tough for 4 people to shower with only the small amount of shampoo the ladies brought (guys didn’t bring any shower products, so we had to borrow their shampoo for a full body wash). Needless to say we had to run out to buy soap, more shampoo and we decided to buy toilet paper too since there were only partial roles in both bathrooms and one spare roll for the unit.
All in all, the unit is nice and I’d recommend staying. Just know that the only bathroom amenities you will get are towels and some liquid hand soap by the sink. You need to bring everything else.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location couldn't be better, close to many small businesses and in a walkable neighborhood that also has easy access to the interstate. I would definitely stay here again with family or a small group of friends.

This property was perfect for our trip. Huge space to spread out and relax and we loved the amount of space we had. The location was close in proximity to everything. Pam was very accommodating, very responsive when reaching out and easy to work with. The Cajun restaurant on the first floor was phenomenal!! We highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again when we visit St. Louis again!

The property itself was perfect for what we needed it for. Huge space to spread out and relax. Location was close proximity to everything. Pam was very accommodating and easy to work with. The only con we have with the space is one of our vehicles had their Cadillac converter stolen from their car. I don’t think this has anything to do with the property or location. This is just St. Louis. Other than that the property was absolutely perfect!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The space is large and flooded with light. We were a group of 5 adults and were comfortable. The neighborhood has enough that is walkable and interesting - an urban neighborhood that appears to be either coming back to life, or continuing to be sustained. And it was very easy to get downtown by car. The first floor restaurant - Sister Cities Cajun - has really, really good food!

What a great place to stay! We loved the property, the backyard, and it was so easy to check in and check out. Pamela was wonderful. We are already planning our trip to stay at this rental for Spring 2023. Can't wait to go back!!!

Overall this Im was a great stay. We loved this option versus staying in a hotel. It was a large inviting space. It was clean and convenient. Only concerns are honestly kind of not picky… dishes were in the dishwasher. No soap in the bathrooms. Easy things for us to handle, just didn’t expect them and like I said, kind of nit picky. We would definitely use this listing again!

Lovely Loft
A beautiful, spacious exposed brick walls/oak wood floor with a modern kitchen and antique decor loft in a convenient location greeted us in St. Louis. The host met and welcomed us. Clean with comfy beds. We loved it! (Steep stairs)

STL weekend get-away
Very spacious! Each bedroom has its own bathroom so the privacy is great! Just be mindful of the stairs. They are very steep! On street parking was never an issue. We were always able to park right next to the door. Uber rides downtown were quick and easy.

Pictures don’t do it justice! Tons of space, very clean, great beds. Had everything we needed, and 15 minutes at most to wherever we wanted to go. The Soulard area is full of great restaurants and bars, great old area of town. Quite a few stairs to get to apartment, but very doable!
