Property is beautiful. Needs kitchen utensils. Needs plug in box for tv in bedroom. TVs are very outdated and hard to maneuver. Still gave excellent review because property was amazing just needs a few small fixes.

We have only had one bad experience renting through another service and it was in St Louis. So we were a little nervous with this booking through VrBo. We hadn't got a code to get in by the time we arrived which is how tge bad experience started so we got more nervous how this was going to go. I called the contact ifno she was very nice and apologized and sent it right away. The olace was secure and clean. It has steep stairs going to the door, then normal steps going to the second floor where apartment is. Very clean and nice looking place. Negatives were the toilet seat was loose. The bedroom tv took some figuring out and we had to use our own power cable to power the roku but we got it figured out. A couple lights in bathrooms would flicker. Nothing horrible. The restaurant below it was good as well so you can just walk down and get some Cajun food. Its sort of away from anything ( I mean that in a positive sense) but easy to get anywhere you want to go. Historical neighborhood within walking distance. Definitely would stay again if it's avaliable when we go back. Host was very accommodating when we had something come up to change who was staying one for the tournament we were in town for. They responded to questions quickly before and during booking.

I will start by saying the host was very friendly which I appreciate. The place does look like the pictures and the area was fairly quiet. Although, I was disappointed in the cleaning. There was a third queen bed from the pull out couch that was not cleaned before our arrival. Host said it was because we asked for an early check-in, but if a full and thorough cleaning was not possible because of early arrival the host should have made that clear because it was not of top priority to have an early check-in. I do wish that the kitchen was also more orderly. The cabinets were full of junk and there were tea bags that expired in 2022 in the cabinet. The kitchen didn’t seem like it was guest ready and from what was in the cabinets I could tell it is rarely cleaned out if at all. Overall it was okay but again the cleanliness of the place could be a lot better
