We are nestled on a partially wooded lot overlooking stunning Eagle Harbor. Let our privately owned/operated home be your escape to peace and tranquility. This beautifully furnished home has everything you need: a large fully equipped eat-in-kitchen with granite countertops, a spacious living room to curl up and read a book, watch cable TV, DVD or hook up your computer with the free WiFi. There are plenty of books to choose from and games for the kids. Browse through the collection of brochures, great for planning the day’s adventures.The separate dining room has a large table for family gatherings or use it to play cards or games. The downstairs bedroom hosts a queen bed with a full en suite bathroom. Upstairs there are three sun filled bedrooms and another bathroom. Each of these bedrooms have a large picture window either overlooking the bay or woods. One has a queen bed and the others have 2 twin beds in each room. Outside, the large deck overlooks the serene backyard, complete with table, chairs and umbrella. Relax out on the deck after a busy day or enjoy some coffee while watching the deer stroll through the yard. At night, light up the tiki torches and fire up the grill for a great evening under the stars. We are conveniently located to Peninsula State Park, the beach and South Shore Pier where you can rent pontoon boats, wave runners or paddle boats. It's only a 5 minute stroll to the Harbourside Park which features Monday night concerts and a playground for the kids. Our pet-friendly cottage sleeps up to 8 people comfortably, with plenty of room for your furry friends as well. Located just above downtown Ephraim’s Historic District, our cottage is within walking distance of all local attractions including art galleries, gift shops and the famous Wilson's Ice Cream Parlor. Root Beer float, anyone?

My three sisters and I recently enjoyed a Door County week together. This home was perfect for the four of us with room to spread out. We loved the quiet setting away from the busy road but yet just a few minutes walk to restaurants. We frequently had coffee on the patio and enjoyed the deer and piliated woodpeckers every evening. Sandy was available and responsive to any concerns.

Nice location walking distance to the docks, restaurants, stores. Yet secluded peaceful, good for walking the dog. House clean very sweet decor. Will definitely rent again.

The Hobby House is adorable! The home is clean and cozy, and the location is perfect. We enjoyed long walks in the woods, strolls into town, and the nearby public beach was a hit with the kids. We can’t wait to come back.

This was my first time in Door County and about the 15th for my wife and her parents. The Hobby Horse was a house my in-laws had seen and walked past for 20 years but were never able to secure for themselves. My wife and I reserved this house as an anniversary present to them and for a vacation for our family. To put it mildly, this house was more a home than anything. It was absolutely perfect for a family of 7, including two small children. The location was perfectly set just a two minute walk from the main roadway up the peninsula and still gave great views of Ephraim Bay and a quiet forested lot in which to relax. Everything we could have needed was provided, the home was quiet, clean, inviting and it is absolutely a place we will be coming back to again and again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The Hobby Horse Cottage was very clean, neat and well equipped. The central location is very convenient for all the favorite places in Door County. Great for families with a nice large yard.

This house was just perfect for our Door County vacation. It has a great location- easily walk into town, playgrounds, restaurant, waterfront nearby. The house is very private and has a beautiful yard. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. I love to cook and the kitchen here had everything you could imagine- great cookware, blender, mixer, plenty of dishes. They truly thought of everything. The owners left us a bottle of wine and beautiful flowers and tomatoes from their garden. I hated to leave as it it so peaceful here. My grandson enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard. Thank you for everything!
