PROMO FOR WEEKLY STAY OF 5% The Old Village Hall, finished in 1929, was used as a court house, jail house, and fire house and now has become a living space. This is the lower level of the building, complete with a fireplace and laundry, one king bed, one queen bed, and one queen roll out. There is a patio with a fire pit, and enough room to park your truck and boat, four wheelers or snowmobile. In close proximity to Spirit Mountain and Mont Du Lac ski resorts, as well as Jay Cook State Park and the Munger Trail. The Oliver and Boyscout boat landings to the St. Louis River are just down the road. This river will take you into Lake Superior. If fishing is your interest, book an outing with Houston's Guide Service. We are 20 minutes from the Canal Park, Park Point areas in Duluth.

Beautifully remodeled, repurposed village hall minutes from west side of Duluth. Nice, northwoods style decor. Very comfortable; well-appointed. We had plans with other family in Duluth & could have spent more time at this property. Major appliances, beds, furniture like new. We loved it & would stay again. Two minor suggestions: Pls provide facial tissue. A few in our group couldn't clean their glasses. Consider providing regular coffee to brew (not just instant).

This place is such an amazing hidden gem. It was so homey and cozy my kids didnt want to leave. All of the ammentities are spot on, bedrooms were roomy and overall a great place to stay. We wont be staying anywhere else on our next trips to the twin ports. Thanks for everything!

We loved this property. We had 2 families staying (7 total) and it was roomy enough and had everything we needed. We cooked some meals and had all the pans and utensils we needed. The fireplace was perfect as were all the smart TV’s, Only 10 minutes from Spirit Mountain which was ideal. I highly recommend this place.

This is our second stay at this property and we can't say enough about how great it is!! It is spotless and very well equipped. There is a fire pit on the patio with supplied firewood. The location is great as it's easy to get to Duluth and the surrounding areas without being in the hustle. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here while visiting Jay Cooke in the fall and it's a lovely place! There were only two of us there, but it would be great for a family or group of friends as well. Super spacious! Awesome kitchen, great sitting area outside, and the building exterior is super charming! Highly recommend!

Great open living space for hanging out and eating. We appreciated that all of the basic necessities were stocked (toiletries, paper towels, cooking/baking gear, etc) and that there was a large pile of firewood to use. The train horn was a little disruptive to sleeping, especially for the person on the pullout couch in the living room. But overall we enjoyed our stay!

Had everything one could need- very interesting property. If you’re a super light sleeper the train horn may be an issue. It’s very light-(not a horn that’ll startle you awake)- I found it pleasant myself, but if you’re a high anxiety/low tolerance for noise type of person- prepare yourself.

An easy drive to Duluth and Jay Cooke in either direction. When you wanna keep the party going there’s a bar right across the street! Warm and cozy lodge vibe with heated floors! My only request is bigger frying pans and cutting board for cooking. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The lodging is on the main floor of a cool old municipal building that has been nicely remodeled. It is off the beaten path, but was perfect for our stay. We were a short distance from the beautiful Jay Cooke State Park where we hiked, and within about 20 minutes of downtown Duluth with all it has to offer. The lodging was warm, clean, comfortable, and affodable. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The property was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for our family weekend getaway! It's a very short drive to Superior and Duluth to do all the fun touristy things, but also located close to Jay Cooke State Park (we love to hike). Reasonable price, very interesting building. We travel a lot and always stay in rental properties. This was a top notch property! The pictures just do not do it justice. It is in a great location, short distance to Duluth or Superior. Property is very nicely upgraded and very thoughtfully furnished. It was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner very responsive to questions.

This place is great! It was great for our 18 month old. Very kid friendly since it is one level. It’s not too far from Superior and many store options. You can hear the train, but it really didn’t bother us. It was abnormally hot on our visit so we did miss the A/C, but I think it will be a great option for a fall trip.

We came up to enjoy Duluth and the surrounding area. We found this location to be convenient to the city and surrounding areas. The space was very clean and had all the amenities. It looked recently remodeled and the neighborhood appeared safe and quiet. We really thought the building was cool and slept REALLY WELL in the comfortable beds. Thanks for everything. We would love to return.
