Nestled in Dauphin Island, this attractive house for $595 per night is a great option for your next break. HOUSE FEATURES: Four bedroom luxury beach front home on large gulf front lot. Nothing but sand between this home and the ocean! Perfect vacation rental for families and couples with 3 King Bedrooms, all with incredible ocean views and their own bathrooms and a bunk room with it's own bathroom. Open spacious living area. The outdoor space includes plenty of deck that is both covered and uncovered so you may sunbathe or relax in the shade. This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath house on Dauphin Island which sleeps 12. Enjoy the quiet southern lifestyle of one of the last Gulf islands to remain unaffected by commercial tourism. ***GREAT BEACH FOR KIDS*** FURTHER DETAILS: Plenty of comfortable furnishings with a large table as well as a large kitchen bar. Fully furnished with bedroom TV's and a large TV in the living area. Broadband wi-fi is available free of charge (although service on the Island can be spotty at times). Unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. There is NOTHING but white sand between the steps from the porch to he Gulf of Mexico. No houses, no on the Gulf. This means no putting on shoes or loading the car to head to the beach... it's all right there!!! Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, blender, coffee maker, etc... and has a four burner stove with electric oven. Dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer with icemaker are also featured. Spacious Master Bedroom on the main level with master bathroom with soaking tub and stand up shower. Second bedroom is a bunk room also on the main level with 2 double on bottom/single on top bunk beds. The 3rd and 4th bedroom are located on the second floor as well as an additional loft space. Both bedrooms feature private bathrooms, king size beds and access to a second level deck with breathtaking birds eye views of the ocean. ISLAND INFORMATION: Dauphin Island s a very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery & several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. Island is accessible by bridge. Gulf Shores & Fort Morgan are only a few miles away & are accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip). For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST RELAX! ADVANCE RENT: ONE-HALF of rental rate is due at booking. ONE-HALF of rental rate is required 45 days prior to check in. There is a 60 day cancellation policy on all rentals. We accept: personal checks and credit cards (viaVRBO and PayPal). ALL RESERVATIONS WILL BE CHARGED A CLEANING FEE ($150) DEPOSITS A $500 DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT is required for all rentals and is due with the second half of your rent 45 days prior to arrival. It is fully refundable if conditions are met. Deposits are returned to you trhough your method of original payment approximately 7 days after check out. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR DAMAGE DEPOSIT REFUND Including but not limited to the following: *No Damage to House *No missing or broken items. *No more than the maximum number of occupants in the property. *Property is left reasonable clean, no dirty dishes, all trash taken to outside containers, in general just general tidying of the property. We reserve the right to deduct excess cleaning and damage charges from the deposit. PETS: THERE IS A PET FEE OF $100. *Dogs must be under a pest management system for fleas and ticks. *Do not allow your dog onto the furniture. *Please ensure your dog does not chew on the furniture or other items. *Please, please, please bring a pooper scooper. Pick up after your dog. Children like to walk and play in the sand. *Dauphin Island has a leash law. Dogs must either be on a leash or be under voice command at all times. CANCELLATIONS: DEPOSIT & ADVNACE RENT are refundable, if reservation is canceled 60 days prior to arrival. We will also refund if we can re-book the property. A $25 processing fee is charged on all cancellations. *THE RENTAL WEEK IS SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. *CHECK IN 3:00 PM -- CHECK OUT 10:00AM *ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO AN 11% LODGING TAX

House is nice and pretty spacious. Kitchen has most of what you need. Extra linens and blankets, more than enough towels. The soaker tub was awesome. It’s always a pleasant surprise when there’s a soaker tub AND enough hot water to fill it.
A couple things to note: we stayed over new years week, the downstairs bedrooms get really warm, especially at night. The upstairs bedrooms (even with their own thermostat up there) were really cold. My oldest daughter and mom ended up wearing layers to bed, while I (on the first floor, and who is always cold….) Was sweating like crazy with the fan on cracking a window.
Also the checkout list requires you to do a lot of your own clean up, like running load of towels and dishes and putting them away and still being out of the house by 10am.
Some of the outdoor patio furniture probably needs a little update, as some of it is rusting and a couple of the cushions on the loungers were starting to come apart. Wasn’t a big deal tho.

I have to admit something. The cynical side of me thought the photos were a trick of some kind. Absolutely not! Just about 12 steps or so to the water. Excellent location, not a lot of people, neighbors were awesome, house was well taken care of. Home owner helped with a small issue and the maintenance guy was there in a few hours on a Sunday. Very relaxing trip! Such a great island with friendly and helpful people.

If there's ever a perfect get-away place, this is it! The location of the house on the beach is ridiculously great, and the house itself had everything we needed for our six-day stay. The set up of a bunk room and three large king size beds/rooms was ideal for our group -- grandparents, adult kids/spouses, and Grands. Really, I can't say enough nice things about this place! Thank you!

We took my in-laws to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and more. The house was wonderful and the fact that we got to bring our fur babies made it even better. The house had everything we needed. We thought about trying a few of the local restaurants… but Skinners Seafood Market was a hit!! I cooked fresh fish almost every night. We can’t wait to go back!
Tip: be sure to get the majority of your groceries in Mobile. They do have some shops on the island but sometimes selection is limited.
Overall… 5 stars ⭐️… highly recommend.

Great spot right on the sand of the beach! Comfortable and clean! This place is perfect for a really great beach getaway. The only minor problem was the freezer door is difficult to manage, but otherwise everything was really terrific.

This is our 20+ time on DI and we love it every year! The house was great! Perfect location, clean, set up well. We did run in to an issue with the dryer and AC and had some difficulty getting in touch with the owner (which I think was a simple oversight and really not a huge deal). Once we were able to get in touch, she was very receptive and worked on correcting the issues immediately! We would absolutely stay here again!

This is the second year in a row that we stayed at this property. Everything was just as we remembered. The million dollar view, all the great amenities, the communication with the owner, and the quit beach. The day we arrived, the stress was lifted and the relaxation began. We have truly found our place in paradise. And yes, we will be returning for a third year next year.

I rented this for a week of family fun with my kids and grandkids. It was well set up with everything we needed to function, relax, and fully enjoy. It had beach toys for the kids, chairs, pack and play crib, towels, cooking utensils, grill with charcoal, amd many other accessories to make the stay easy. The owner had great communication skills. This house was right on the ocean with our own little beach area. We will rent from this owner again for sure. Thank you!

This house is perfect. The location is perfect. Just steps from the gulf. The hose on the landing to rinse off before coming in the house was fabulous! Kept the sand down in the house. The house was very well stocked. We didn’t run into anything that we needed and didn’t have. Also the coffee pot does have a regular pot and a Keurig which was awesome. Crockpots, blenders, toaster…so helpful. Plenty of outdoor seating. We had 6 teens who all had a blast. We went out each night to catch crabs on the beach. Saw dolphins every day. Can’t say enough good. If you are looking for a relaxed, non-commercial vacation-this is it. And we highly recommend this house.

An absolutely perfect home for our large family (mother, father and 6 little ones) with room to spare! The whole house is wonderfully equipped with any of the must-haves: from linens to kitchen needs to the very pleasant surprise high chair. The whole island seems quiet and laid back. We ate in every meal except one. Most restaurants, it seemed, were limited seating or carry out, come prepared for many a quiet night in. Exactly what we were hoping for! The living area is small but comfortable, ample dining seating and the master exterior door was so nice for containing our wet messes. We didn’t notice the upstairs hose until the last day, but that was helpful for a secondary literal hose down. The master bed was extremely comfortable! The children’s room does not have a fan, so if your kiddos are used to white nose or breeze, plan accordingly. We were able to utilize the extra rooms for naps.
Some updates from past reviews- there are blackout curtains in the children’s bedroom, such a gift to parents of early risers! I’d go further to say the master could use them as well as the neighbors left a porch light on. One review mentioned no paper goods. While there were some there was just enough for one per room.
I think the only negative comment any of us made all week was that we didn’t see ice trays and my husband loves his ice.
It’s a lot of work taking little kids (all under 10) to the beach but this home was our very best experience ever! What a blessing!

If you want to be on the beach this is the place. Big house, lots of room for everyone, great bedrooms all with a view. The few minor issues we had can be overlooked due to the incredible location. Hard to complain about little stuff when you're on the beach. We also spent a lot of time on the deck... a great place to watch for dauphins and chill. We ate most of our meals outside even when it was raining...which it did off-and-on for 3 days. Overall a good house in a quiet neighborhood.

We had a great week - enough space for each group to have their own room and bathroom, and comfortable common areas for larger gatherings. We cooked all but one meal here, and had all the supplies we needed. We spent most of our time on the deck or on the beach - great location! Will return!

It was so peaceful and not the least bit crowded. We were thrilled that our dog could tag along with us all well. He is a fantastic traveler!! I fished the surf every day and basically had to only walk out the door, take a few steps and I was at the water's edge!! If you are looking for a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle and commercialization found in most beach destinations, Dauphin Island is your place! One valuable tip that I will add is that you make it a point to stop in Mobile on your way in (if you're coming from that direction) and stock up on your week's groceries. The nearest grocery store, Greer's, is 19 miles away from the island. Trust me. It will be a big time and money saver if you do this! We look forward to returning to Dauphin Island in the future! We were looking for a non commercialized and quiet beach house directly on beach so kids could play and parents could relax and be present in each moment. This house was perfect!!! Owner was very responsive and house was gorgeous! We have been to the east coast, but this was our first time to the gulf. We definitely hope to come back to this same spot again!

House was very clean. Fit our party of 7 with room to spare. All bathrooms are spacious. Loved the soaking tub in master bath. Found some gorgeous shells. Deck is very pet friendly.

We have stayed on the island a couple of times, and we really loved this property! It was very clean and neat, and right on the beach. There is a gorgeous view from the balcony, and the sound of the waves is so peaceful. The curtains in the bedrooms do not block out light, so if you have younger children, just be aware they may be up with the sunrise in the mornings. Be sure to read all property information so you are prepared for your stay (you will need toilet paper, trash bags, detergent, etc.), but as far as the kitchen goes, we had everything we needed to cook multiple meals during our time on the island. There were sand toys and chairs available as well, which was perfect for our young ones! Kristen was easy to communicate with and responded to our needs quickly. We had a wonderful time and would love to return!

December Family Vacation
We were looking for a non commercialized and quiet beach house directly on beach so kids could play and parents could relax and be present in each moment. This house was perfect!!! Owner was very responsive and house was gorgeous! We have been to the east coast, but this was our first time to the gulf. We definitely hope to come back to this same spot again!
