We were looking for a place near Breck we could stay for 1 night while we transitioned to a new ski mountain. We found this property in the Water House and took a chance - we were blown away. Very convenient to walk to town for dinner and the Quicksilver lift to ski. Condo was clean and very well kept. You know you have a good Colorado rental when there are fans and humidifiers provided in every room! The property came with ski valet and parking which was a great perk.
The only negative was the check in process. You have to use the front desk of the entire property and they need a form from the unit management. When we arrived, they did not have the form and it took 30 minutes to get it cleared. That was frustrating with my kids sitting in a car waiting for me. But management got it figured out. Once we got into the condo, we were blown away. Highly recommend this property.

Arrival instructions were not as clear as they could have been especially since we arrived at 3 am due to travel delays. Desk manager actually said Summit County Mountain Resorts did not notify them of our arrival at all. Water House is managed by Vacasa which was not mentioned anywhere in my rental correspondence which made us unsure if we were even at the right place to check in.
Unit itself was as described but not cleaned properly since there were some items left by other tenants (sock, wrappers) and it smelled of fried food as soon as we entered. I also requested that a light bulb be replaced in the master bathroom and although mngmnt confirmed the request, it was never fixed.
However we did enjoy our stay very much and the location was great with available ski valet.

This property is all that we were looking for in a condo for easy access to the mountain and a quick walk into town! The condo itself is wonderful - everything you need included, even a washer & dryer with laundry detergent was provided! Linens and Towels were A+. Plenty of room for our family of four without any crowding. Would stay here again! Thanks for an amazing week!

Tea kettle with a melted plastic spout - toxic. Called management and was told they were not responsible for this and couldn't help. Cannot load dishwasher - broken slide-in tray. Blunt kitchen knives that make meal prep impossible. Booked for 5 nights but was provided tiny amount of toiletries. Called management multiple times but was told to come to Keystone office to pick them up. Property was listed as high end but didn't have the comparable service. Very disappointed.

I booked at Water house for a quick trip before Christmas. Everyhting was great, other than the microwave not working. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great area and we were able to walk everywhere. We will be back in the future.

This is a fabulous rental overall. Awesome location for winter or summer stays. Great layout, spacious living room, and overall very nice. We would not hesitate to stay here again! There were a few details though that needed attention: 1. burned out bulbs in the guest room and master bath; 2. dishwasher lower drawer needs repair, and 3. inoperable blinds that need repair. Finally, not something broken but for a rental this nice it seemed odd to us that the pots and pans were needing replaced as were the various mis-matched dishes. Overall we really liked this place and would look to stay again, but hope these details will be addressed by the owners next time.

We’ve stayed at numerous VRBOs and this one by far impressed us. It was well cared for and had high end finishes. The common area felt spacious for our family of 5. Usually when we check in there’s always something that doesn’t work but this property as stated was very clean and well cared for. Will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for us. Easy walk to all the restaurants and shops on Main Street and several trailheads. We only ate breakfasts and snacks in the condo, but there seemed to be enough pots and pans if you chose to do more cooking. Best of all, it was very quiet. We heard no one in the halls or out on the street. I gave all 5 stars except for the property’s general condition. I rated that a 4 because of a few things: the lights are a little dim in the bathrooms, the built in microwave should be removed or repaired (there is one on the counter that works), and the dishwasher is sub par. There was great communication with the property manager until our last day. We were hoping to take showers before our checkout at 10 am. However, there was no hot water. I texted the manager and got no response. We understand that it probably could not have been fixed for us, but they could have acknowledged the problem. I hope it was fixed for the next guests.We would definitely stay in this condo again.

My group of 5 adults really enjoyed this rental. Walkable to Quicksilver lift (with valet ski storage included in the building), main street breckenridge. We had a car but you dont need one unless you want access to other areas, grocery store etc. The unit is bigger than the pictures show. Kitchen well stocked for making dinner each night. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very nice. The only minor issue was a door knob to the deck not working. So if it was summer and wanted to enjoy the deck, you could not. Summit county mountain retreats had amazing communication and all instructions etc were very clear. Would definitely book again.

Only stayed one night for a sporting event, but the condo was amazing. Very jealous of any who get to spend a vacation here. Only issues were getting the proper keys to work the door, but all staff we spoke with were great and got the issue resolved. Will look for this place again next time we're in town.

Beautiful condo. We were only staying for one night for a child’s sporting event, so I’m jealous of anyone who gets to spend a vacation there. Comfortable, clean, and great location. I liked the private parked garage, I’m sure that is great when the snow is falling. Our only issue was getting the correct key cards to work the door, but all the staff we spoke with were great. I will look to stay here again if we get the chance.

This property was perfect for my family (2 adults, 3 kids under 12). Walk-able to Main Street and easy to drive away for more hiking. All beds were super comfortable and the TVs had the apps and movies for the kids after a long day of activities. The check in and out were super easy. There are washer and dryer, bring your own detergent. Fridge is huge and kitchen is nice so very easy to make your own meals. Heated underground parking a major plus. Communication was great and professional. Absolutely would stay here again!

It was a short walking distance to hike, restaurants, shops, etc. Our kiddos loved the pool and hot tub (we did wish there were robes in the room to utilize for the pool/hot tub). The condo was AMAZING!! Everything you needed was provided! The negative side was the management company, Summer County Mountain Retreat. Maintenance was being done on the patios. We had 2 days of hearing the sanders sanding down the wood railing that started on the 1stvday we arrived. The 2nd day was raining so we stayed inside, couldn't even go sit on the balcony because the Maintenance crew were literally on the balcony sanding for almost 4 hours!! Started at 8 am!! I was supposed to be there Monday- Fri but they only booked me Mon-Thurs. I did originally book it for 3 nights but then added the 4th night. They gave me the new price and asked if I wanted to confirm the extra night, I confirmed but they never added the extra night. I called to ask about it, even sent them screenshots of the conversation from back in June and all I got was , I'm sorry, I don't know what happened, I don't know why we didn't see that messege. So because of their screw up, the only thing that was available was a horrible studio condo that was supposed to sleep 4 but only had 1 queen size bed. This has been the worst company I've ever dealt with. I feel horrible for the owners that have to go through ****** management companies!!! They offered to compensate for the troubles but for paying what we paid, their compensation wasn't even worth anything!! I would recommend the property just be leary of SCMR!!!!

We did have trouble with the keys and had to go to Main Street to get new keys that did work. Other than that we were pleased with the condo and pleased with the location.

Overall, great condo and a great location. The condo was exactly as described and everything was perfect. My overall rating fell short with the check-in process. I had read from others to have the keys mailed in advance…exactly what I had requested. The keys were supposedly mailed upon my final payment, but they were never received. So we had to end up driving all the way into Keystone first before heading to the condo in Breckenridge (~30-minutes out of our way). I would recommend to the rental company that once the keys are mailed to send an email of confirmation that they were mailed so the renters have an opportunity to keep a look-out and if not received can contact the rental company ASAP. Fortunately our “out of the way drive” was in the summertime. It would be even more inconvenient for renters during the ski season.
