It is also close to Avalanche Preserve Recreation Area where you can enjoy hiking, biking, and disc golf on the mountain. There is plenty of space to have a boat and trailer with launching areas close by. Bring all of your water toys and gear to enjoy beautiful Lake Charlevoix and all of the surrounding lakes. Boyne Mountain is 10 minutes away where you can enjoy golf, skiing and Avalanche Bay Water Park.

We stayed for a family ski vacation and the location could not have been more perfect. It’s less than 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain and about 30 minutes from Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. It’s also a mile from Downtown Boyne City, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. We also like the proximity to Charlevoix and all the area wineries.

Very comfortable accommodations. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Beds were comfortable. Worked out perfectly for 6 adults on a weekend getaway. Lora was quick to respond.

We came to Boyne City to visit family. This was a great location to where they lived. We also wanted to visit Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbor Springs and once again this location was the perfect place. We would stay here again.

Labor Day weekend was hot!! We took extra fans and were thankful for cooler evenings. Location of the house allowed us the privacy we needed to open the windows and enjoy peaceful evenings.

We loved the location, water views from windows and short drive to a nice beach that is kid friendly. Lots to do in the region (recommend SkyBridge and Castle Farms). This place had some quirks and flaws. The cleaning was a bit off. The grill was a mess, a sheet was missing on a bed, and dishes were dirty in the cupboard (dishwasher still had detergent on bottom when we arrived, so likely didn’t run properly). There were ants in the bathroom and ant bait in the living room. The spiral staircase has massive gaps between the rails, our 13 year old could fit between them, so I’d be careful bringing a toddler. There were a few spots with exposed wires coming up from the floor (kitchen counter and in a bedroom).

We stayed 2 nights in this home. Everything was great. My only complaint was we have a 3 &1.5 year old, and they wanted to play on the spiral stair case which is basically open.

Third time staying in this cute A-frame that sleeps 8. The only negative was that the fire did not work and the main living area took time to warm up in the morning. Only one baseboard heater was working. Apart from that this little house is great.

Cute and cozy space, perfect for family of 6 to stay and ski at Boyne Mountain. Nice view of Lake Charlevoix and the fireplace kept it nice and warm after a day on the slopes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boyne City. We loved the A-Frame style of the home. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the loft. The one thing I would say is the toilet should probably be replaced. It doesn't flush very well. Every time we flushed it we thought it might overflow! Other than that it was great. We will certainly go back again! Thank you Lora for your hospitality!

Property was exactly like the listing stated, directions were mostly clear aside from parking. Was unsure if I could drive to the Property or had to walk a few feet from end of the drive. Ended up driving to the property's door anyway.
