What a wonderful little guest house tucked in the back of a residential abode. As you enter the back yard it is hard not to notice the effort put into making it welcoming and easy to get to. Filled with local flora and complete with Northwest feel of being in outdoors. In fact sitting on the porch it is hard to imagine being so close to residential streets. The inside of the cottage is immaculate and filled with all the touches of home. The only thing I couldn't find was a lint roller. That was it! Literally everything else is right where you would think they would be. Silverware, dishes, pots, pans, nick knack drawer, cleaning supplies, blankets, and much more. The house managers are close at hand, living in the main house. They kept a hands off approach and just let us do our thing. We were able to come and go easily with ample parking on the residential street. This cottage is a wonderful place to stay and gives you the feeling of staying at home. Complete with the laughter and sounds of children playing in the morning. Simply put, we felt comfortable, safe and welcomed. Made for a nice trip. Thank you so much!

The garden cottage was very nice and the gardens were beautiful. It's located in a great and quiet area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed all the beautiful scenery and hiking in the area.

The garden cottage was a great place to stay in Portland. It is very spacious and has all that you need for a wonderful stay. It has lots of natural light and opens to a lovely, peaceful garden. There is plenty of street parking.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location in a nice neighborhood with several restuarants and pubs in the area. Also near Tabor Park. The hosts were helpful and responsive and the property was very open, well kept, well appointed and clean. I will definitely stay here next time I am in the Portland Area!

The nicest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Very comfortable with nice light, high ceilings, well-equipped kitchen. Super clean. The space opens on to a lovely fenced in back yard with a profusion of flowers and a giant tree. Diane and Charley are very accommodating. Great spot, convenient to all things Belmont and beyond.

I almost don't want to give this home such a glowing review because I want to come back. I was in town for a week visiting my partner and it was the perfect place for us to have some quiet time together. The owner's were great -- respectful of our space but also friendly. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Couldn't be happier!

I loved the home feeling of this spacious small cottage. There was a feeling of love woven into every corner to tell the story of hosts Diane and Charley (and their family) as well as those who have been hosted (guest book). This is a great neighborhood. It felt safe with great places to walk. A bus stop is just two blocks away. Mount Tabor park is about 4 blocks away. I liked having a little nibble of the granola Diane had in a Mason jar. Such a kind way of taking extra care. Loved the sub floor heater in the bathroom!

This cottage was so welcoming and spotless but with so much warmth. Even though we were only there to sleep, the cottage was well supplied for any type of meal prep. We would definitely love to stay there again!

The owners were wonderful and accommodating. The house had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. It was built for the owner's mother who had passed. You could definitely feel the love placed in decorating the place. I would definitely stay here again!

Booked this rental for a week of business in Portland area. Very clean and accommodating. Great location, lots of restaurants and bars. Was able to get around the area easily from this location. Fully equipped kitchen + laundry. Will look for this one again on my next trip to PNW.

We would highly recommend this cottage. It is well located in a pleasant neighborhood with ample parking. Most of all, the hosts are friendly and helpful, and the cottage is lovely - with art work, sky lights, and comfortable chairs. It is very well supplied, from kitchen supplies to laundry facilities, thick towels, and ample hangars in a roomy closet.

We were very happy with our accommodation. The cottage was the perfect oasis we needed following a very busy first half of our vacation with family. The place was truly set up for guest comfort. The decor was serene, the hosts friendly and welcoming, and the granola was delicious!
