We had a wonderful time! The cottage is super clean, in a very nice neighborhood, and our host Tanya made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back soon.

No kidding, there was a beach.
Tanya was a great host, communicated well and gave all the basic information I needed to make my stay pleasant.
The house gets warm during hot, humid late-summer days, but thankfully, each bedroom has A/C so sleep is comfortable no matter how baked the day was.
The beach down the street is very cute and nice to sit at and contemplate Hammonassett across the way.

We had a great time during our stay. We were in a great location for being able to do Myistic aquarium one day, Beardsley zoo another day and still be able to go to the beach. Theres also alot of great shopping, food, and historical spots in the area.
The house was clean and had beach access at the end of the street. Our toddler loved the time we had so much that the morning we left we had to carry her out to the truck crying "I love beach house i want to live here".

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Clinton. This property was the perfect size for us and was very comfortable. Nice that the owners stock their home with some basics (bed linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, etc.) so you don't have to worry. The location couldn't have been better - just steps to the beach. On first look, the beach may seem small, but there is actually much to explore within walking distance. Super quiet neighborhood with friendly people.

We stayed with 1 other couple in this very well maintained beach cottage. It was 3 minutes from a small neighborhood beach and 4 miles from Hammonasset Beach. We had all the amenities you
could need. Nice sunporch and outdoor space. Tanya was a wonderful host and gave us restaurant and activity suggestions. The Thimble island tour was very worth while.Located in a very nice neighborhood a well. We hope to stay again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this well-equipped beach house. There is a private beach conveniently located at the end of the street (very short walk). Larger beaches are just a short drive away. Neighborhood was very friendly. We enjoyed exploring the nearby town of Madison as well as a visit to Chamard Vineyard.

Shoreline stay.
Our favorite place to stay on the CT shoreline. When you drive in you see the water and easily walk back and forth to it. Access to all sorts of dining, sightseeing and activities is near by. The home is cozy and comfortable with everything you need to make my families weeks stay enjoyable. We plan to stay again next year (my third time :). Thank you again Tanya and Steve!

Great property for a couple days with my mom and two little kids. They enjoyed the beach just steps down the road, and the house was perfect for what we needed.

We loved this property. It was the perfect size for me and my husband. We were able to bring our dog (with permission) and he loved the fenced backyard. Only 6 houses from the beach and the neighbors were very friendly. I highly recommend this charming house.

Lovely cottage, close to beach.
Check in was easy. Cottage was spotlessly clean. This is clearly a well maintained home. Nicely decorated: bright, airy, relaxing atmosphere. Fridge was very clean and roomy enough for all the food we needed for a week. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. Beach was only a very short walk away. This place is great.

Great house, great location, perfect for family
This was a great house in a small, private neighborhood with its own private beach. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The bedrooms were perfect for our family of 4. The private beach was less than a block from the house and my boys (ages 12 and 10) loved the shallow beaches and climbing on the rocks.
Tonya was great about communicating and accommodated our dog for the week. The Keurig was broken when we came but she kindly provided coffee for the drip coffee maker.
The four seasons room at the back was perfect for hanging out on cool evenings. The house is also 15 minutes from Hammonasset State Beach and 25 from Rocky Neck State Beach for days we were looking for a change.
We definitely enjoyed our stay and I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a week at the Connecticut shore.

This Beach House is absolutely adorable! The decor inside is so cute and cozy - the perfect escape to the amazing Connecticut Shoreline. Tanya was wonderful to work with and so accommodating. Being just steps to a private beach association was wonderful so daily walks on the beach were so relaxing.

Perfect beach getaway!
We had the best impromptu Father's Day getaway! The house was clean and welcoming and the check in process was a breeze. Tanya was super helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be staying again!

Great Escape
We had an amazing escape from NYC with our daughter and dog. The house is well maintained, comfortable and conveniently located near enough larger attractions that you can easily take day trips. We unfortunately had a lot of rain while we were there but still enjoyed walking down to the beach area. If you are traveling with small children (our daughter is 19 months), be prepared to baby proof the house as there are a lot of fragile glass items, outlets, and cabinets with things like paint and cleaning supplies you obviously don't want a curious kid to get into. We came prepared but its a fair warning to others who may not.
I'd say the only complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom which seems to be lacking support. My husband and I both felt our heads were lower than our feet and the mattress sloped into the middle. Other than a semi sore back from not super comfortable sleeping, we didn't have any complaints! Thank you to Tanya!

Great experience!
We have nothing but lovely things to say about our stay! There were four of us (two children 11 and 14), along with our dog and the home was the perfect size. The private beach was just under a three minute walk, and you can also walk 7-10 minutes along the water to the town beach (dog park, playground, water slides). The neighbors were very warm and welcoming, even bringing out some games for our children to play with. While dogs are not allowed on the private beach, we enjoyed walking the dog around the neighborhood and another neighbor showed us a stretch of waterfront (away from private beach) where you can let your dog run. Tanya was wonderful to deal with, prompt with her replies and helpful every step of the way. We enjoyed eating out in Clinton and Madison - can recommend Shanks for lunch and Christys for breakfast. Also discovered Shoreline Diner which worked well for our son who has food restrictions. We’ll definitely stay again!!

It was a cute cottage near the water and located in a nice residential area.
We were there for a thanksgiving celebration at our daughters home located nearby. The cottage was a quiet little oasis. It was clean and everything was there that we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future.

Adorable, well-kept shoreline home!
Wonderful house in a wonderful location! It was small, but not tiny; it was just the right size for our family of four. With recent upgrades and tasteful decorations, it had everything we needed. Additionally, Tanya was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay there again!
