The main living area includes a queen-size sleeper sofa, making this cabin ideal for couples or small families seeking a cozy getaway. The fully equipped kitchen contains dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring guests can prepare meals easily after a day of exploring. For outdoor cooking enthusiasts, the cabin offers two grills—charcoal and gas—so you can choose your preferred method for grilling. One of the highlights of your stay is the private hot tub, offering tranquil views of the surrounding woods. The cabin also features a fire pit just off the deck, perfect for gathering around on cool evenings. For entertainment and connectivity, there is a flat-screen TV with local cable and the option to connect your streaming device. Complimentary high-speed wireless internet is provided, along with reliable cell service to keep you connected throughout your stay. Red Hickory’s prime location places you near Hocking Hills State Parks, Downtown Logan, the Nelsonville Bike Path, Wayne National Forest, and Dorr Run ATV Trails. This pet-friendly cabin charges a flat fee of $75 per booking for pets.

We had a wonderful weekend at this secluded cabin in the woods. The hot tub was great and the cabin was clean and cozy. We especially loved the privacy, all surrounded by forest. Good proximity to hiking and local restaurants

The cabin was lovely, but the deck/hot tub configuration has been changed since these photos were taken. The fire ring is also different and located on a gravel extension of the driveway. It was missing some of the niceties that we have come to expect from other cabins we have rented: robes, water bottles, snacks, and fire wood. Our biggest issue was that there was a power outage for most of our only full day there. We realize that this was out of the host's control, but when we alerted her to the situation, she did not offer any assistance. So we were stuck in a cold, dark cabin. We tried to use the wood burning stove, but there were no operating instructions, and the vents did not seem to be working, so the fire kept going out. If the power had not gone out, our experience would have been different, and we would have been mostly satisfied. Just don't expect any extras or assistance from the host while you are there.
