Beautiful Blowing Rock NC Log Cabin with Amazing Long Range Blue Ridge mountain Pisgah National Forest Views! Designed by Lisa Harris The Elk Ridge Cabin on Apple Ridge is a beautiful luxury rustic log cabin tucked away in a lush green forest overlooking the Pisgah national Forest with long range views of the Blue Ridge mountains stretching into the distance. From the very large deck you can relax , sit a spell and take in the mountain air with amazing views and the sounds of the birds nesting in the trees. Take a walk down to the fire pit and from there you can relax by the fire, and roast marshmallows, sip a glass of wine and make wonderful memories with family and friends. Bird watching and nature walks with your pets are fun pastimes. The cabin is situated on a private road where you can see additional views and experience the unique ever changing vistas. The Fall Foliage is a special thing of beauty to behold. It's 2.5 miles to the quaint village of Blowing Rock, but you will feel that you have a piece of Heaven all to yourself. The location couldn't be more perfect. You will feel tucked away in a magical place, yet be only minutes from Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is convenient to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Grandfather Mountain, Mast General Store, hiking, waterfalls, and breweries. Key Residence Features: - Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen including coffee pot, toaster, complimentary wireless internet access, cable TV, wireless Blue ray speaker for playing music, large laundry room downstairs, large deck and backyard with fire pit and complimentary firewood, comfortable patio furniture and outdoor dining, ample windows with views, luxury high end Wilmington gas grill and more. We bought the vacation rental because we wanted to share this area with others. We care deeply that all who stay at the cabin have a wonderful, peaceful get away to enjoy. We personally oversee everything. The views from the deck are awesome. Especially in the spring and fall. It is very peaceful and there is a large yard with plenty of space to walk around the property. We live nearby just down from the cabin so we are available to help whenever needed. We have a privacy wall and have planted trees between the cabin and ourselves to ensure our guest have a great stay. We love living in Blowing Rock. We love hiking and motorcycling in these beautiful mountains. We have two dogs and three cats. You couldn't make us ever leave here. We have met many friends here from all over the world We know you will love it here also. Beautiful Blowing Rock Log Cabin with Spectacular Long Range Views! Cars are necessary to get around. The road is black top but uphill. . Uber has just recently come to our area. I don't think there are a lot of drivers yet and they come out of the Boone area so call ahead. This home was built to take in all of the wonderful views of the mountains. It is the most comfortable home that I have ever lived in. You wake in the morning to the sounds of birds and nature. The view is to the south looking over the John River Gorge. The address is technically Lenoir NC but that is confusing. Lenoir is 20 miles away and this house sits high on the wooded Ridge line just 2.5 miles from the village of Blowing Rock. Yes, it only takes about 5 minutes to drive into the town! The area is Pisgah national Forest and is special in that this area will not be developed in the future due to the National Forest designation. In the winter the view is also very enchanting due to the fact that far, far in the distance you can see the East West corridor of I- 40. We call it the ribbon of lights that run just along the horizon line way out beyond the mountains. It highlights the beauty of the multi layered view of the mountains.

Beautiful mountain cabin with attention to every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The backyard view is simply breathtaking. There was so much to do and see in the area. Thank you for the beautiful family memories.

We go to blowing rock a couple times a year and this cabin was perfect in every way! Great location, very clean, well stocked and so comfortable; not to mention the pictures don’t do the incredible views justice! The owner was very responsive and provided every detail needed for an easy stay! We will definitely be back!!

The cabin was clean and everything was accurate that was described in the listing. However, we were disappointed by the nonstop rain, which prevented us from enjoying the deck in the fire pit. The clouds and fog were also thick. We did enjoy rest indoors by the fireplace. Hoping for better summer weather next time!

Cabin was terrific — clean and cozy. Gorgeous views with an amazing fire pit. Lisa was amazing anytime we had a question. My wife and son loved it and we will be back. Highly recommend the property!

The cabin was all and more than we expected. Lisa was quick to answer our calls and helpmus trouble shoot the fireplace. The mattresses, pillows , sheets and towels were one on the real luxuries we got with this cabin. Weall commented on the good night sleep we got. The scenery, decor and location was perfect for us.We will we renting this cabin or other rentals from Lisa.

We just spent 3 nights in this wonderful cabin which has modern amenities and an old mountain feel to it. We cooked a couple of meals in the fully stocked kitchen and did not long for anything. The smart TV's and uber comfortable beds made the evenings appreciated, the firepit, view and trees perfect for our hammock made for a perfect Friday afternoon/night.
Lisa was perfect, followed up with us and made us feel very welcome. We will visit again!

What a beautiful property with a stunning view! Everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy, exactly as advertised. My husband especially loved the grill. It was conveniently located to all the area has to offer and the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. We are definitely staying here next time!

But what elevates this rental from excellent to superb is the owner/manager LIsa Harris, who is a joy, and is instantly accessible for any question or problem. Renting does not get any better than this, and we have rented all over.

This cabin is great for two persons or 6 person family. We loved the early morning coffee on the deck and the evening fires at the outside fire pit. The cabin was clean and exceptionally furnished for a comfortable stay. We stayed one week in April 2022.

It was an unseasonably cold weekend in the NC mountains and the cabin stayed nice and warm. The firepit in back looking out over the mountains is great. Super easy to get to, but feels pretty away from it all. It was really nice to have all of the basics on hand at the cabin when we arrived. I would highly recommend.

We have stayed here multiple times and always return! It is a beautiful, clean cabin that works very well for our family, including our dog! Close to everything! Communicating with the property owner is always prompt and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful cabin, well maintained, with incredible views of the mountains. It has everything we need. This is our 2nd stay at this home away from home. We love sitting by the fire pit enjoying the view, making smores and having quality time as a family. Worth every penny!
