Welcome to Mountain Melody!
This charming house is located just under 5 miles from popular downtown Blowing Rock, in a quiet, wooded neighborhood that feels far from it all yet stays close to many attractions. Families will enjoy a wonderful getaway here, with beautiful mountain views, a basement game room featuring foosball, ping-pong, and a dartboard, and a spacious sloping yard with a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table. Enjoy a relaxing retreat while staying close to the activities and sights the High Country offers.

As you enter Mountain Melody, you will find a lovely great room with high ceilings, abundant natural light, leather furniture, and a stacked stone gas log fireplace. Separating the kitchen and living room is a granite bar top with stools. The kitchen offers ample space for meal preparation and includes a dining table. French doors from the kitchen lead out to the back deck, which features multiple outdoor dining areas and a gas grill, all overlooking stunning mountain views.

The main-floor master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom, a TV, and mountain views. Upstairs, you will find a comfortable queen bedroom, an additional room with a twin bed, and a loft space with a twin day bed and trundle. The loft includes a mounted flat-screen TV, bean bag chairs, and games for all ages. The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests.

Mountain Melody is conveniently located less than a mile off Highway 321, making it ideal for those traveling from the Charlotte area. Downtown Blowing Rock is just a few miles away, and attractions like Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain are about 5 miles away. Boone is approximately ten miles away, and guests will also find Valle Crucis, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, and all that the High Country offers within easy reach.

Additional amenities include central heating and air conditioning on the main and upper floors. The basement area stays cool without air conditioning and has a wood-burning buck stove for warmth. Enjoy Sling streaming TV on the Smart TVs throughout the property, or log in to your own streaming accounts. The owners have also recently added Starlink internet service.

Up to two pets under 30 pounds are welcome with your reservation, though additional pet fees will apply.

Please note that the tranquil cabin is located up a narrow gravel road with typical mountain inclines, which requires careful navigation. We will provide detailed directions to and from the cabin with each booking. A level gravel parking area is available just outside the covered front entrance. Three cameras monitor the property, capturing the road, driveway, and exit road.
