About this house rental
Located in Eau Claire, this attractive house for $129 per night is a great option for your next vacation. An extremely convenient oasis situated on 10 wooded acres with a country like setting only 5 minutes to downtown Eau Claire; Phoenix Park, Pablo Center, River walk and more! Welcome guests who enjoy a low key relaxing and quiet environment complete with wildlife wandering by. Biking / walking trail just minutes from our house. Three miles from Riverview Park on the Chippewa River with public river access. Just minutes from Mayo, Oak Leaf, Sacred Heart Hospitals and Dove Health Care. Enjoy cooking in a fully stocked kitchen complete with a Keurig or traditional coffee maker, coffee grinder, tea pot, slow cooker, mixer, blender, dutch oven and much more! Stocked with K-pods and tea to start your first morning! Guests will enjoy large high end towels. We have shampoo, conditioner and bar soap available as well. A First Aid Kit is located in the linen closet. Our laundry area is located in the basement with scent free laundry detergent available to our guests. Check out the amenities for details. Parents, children are welcome; however please review the space for a good fit. Indicate the age or ages and let us know you’ve read and agreed the space is suitable. We feel your child requires an enjoyable stay even on a rain filled day. Our place has no designated play area. Children must be supervised at all times inside and outside. We are only licensed for 5 guests including children. A smoke free, insense free, vaping free house. Smokers area outside with a metal sand filled bucket for discarded butts. Note: No fire pits or grills of any kind. House rules/check out (before 11:00 a.m.) policies are posted inside for our guests convenience. Not allow; parties, pets, gatherings, reunions, or any other social arrangements, and holiday decorations i.e. Christmas Tree etc Required all inquiries or booking requests review our house policies and rules noting read and in agreement. We want our home and the area to be a perfect fit for our guests. If you like to relax and unwind while watching the wildlife wander by this is the place for you. We stayed here to accommodate MIL vs a hotel. My husband is extremely picky and he could not say enough good things about this property. So close to everything, yet far enough away to enjoy the wildlife. We were greeted by 2 deer and the next morning 6 of them were hanging out next to the driveway!

This property was perfect for our family's situation. I came with my husband, teen son, adult daughter and her boyfriend. The bed setup was perfect and everything was just the right size for us. I loved the kitchen, especially when I had to spend the whole day cooking for my family reunion there. Having access to laundry was great for our week stay. Everything was organized so nicely and so clean. I couldn't believe we had so much woods surrounding us in the middle of Eau Claire! And to top it all off, there was a family of 7 deer that greeted us the 1st day and a turkey with her chicks in the front yard every morning! Just awesome!

Loved our stay on Lantern Lane. Perfect house for a vacation week - roomy enough for a family of four, full kitchen to cook, comfortable living room and a/c. Loved only being minutes away from bike trails and the downtown area while still feeling surrounded by nature. Deer grazed on the property every morning- what an enjoyable way to have my morning coffee. Would recommend!

Nice quiet location tucked into the woods with deer and turkey sightings out the window. Place was clean and provided all the necessary amenities. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy and also not far from stores, restaurants, parks, and city life.

As soon as we arrived we stumbled upon 8 deer in our backyard! This location is close to town but private enough to enjoy yourselves peacefully. The home is beautiful and cozy! The property managers are thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our weekend stay!

My family and I had a great time at this home. It's in the city but in a wooded area so it is very peaceful. The home was beautiful and comfy. We saw some wildlife outside tok! Would definitely recommend if you're needing a place in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming immaculate home. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the living room furniture and view from the large window lends itself to just sit back and relax. The privacy, quietness, and lovely wooded location of the home is superb. Yet, we were only 5 minutes from restaurants and shopping. The owners were great about communicating with us. Check-in was a breeze. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a lovely stay. We’ll definitely be back.

I waited to spend my birthday with my daughter, son in law and grandkids. I decided to bring my mom so she could meet her great grandson, who turned 3 the 28th of October. I also wanted to take my mom because of the love I have for her and show her my appreciation for all she has done. I seen this cute house in the woods but close to town and thought why not. We loved it! It is beautiful inside and out. The home owners are very aware of what people need. Seen deer, turkeys and of course squirrels even seen some rabbits. My husband and I booked this property along with our daughter, her husband and baby for a weekend wedding. The house was the perfect size and was very convenient to the activities we had in the area. However, because of it's location in a quiet section of wooded space it did not feel like we were in the city and was quiet and gorgeous! The hosts were very responsive from the beginning of our booking through our stay, and their house was welcoming and had many extra touches. Would love to stay there again if we needed to be in the area!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this 'wooded retreat'. The location is really amazing, you feel like you're far away in the privacy of the woods but in reality you're 8 min from downtown. The owners have exceptional attention to detail and everything you need is provided. The house is very nice, extremely clean and cozy. There are train tracks that run close to the property so you'll hear it go by but we never heard it blow it's whistle so it wasn't a problem. The wildlife is really fun. We had a deer and her two fawn that visited near by every day. There is also a flock of turkeys that frequently wander around.
Overall our experience was as good as it gets, five stars for sure and we'd love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed your house for our visit. it felt like an isolated / out of the way property, but we could get everywhere we needed within 15 min. House was very clean, furnishings & appliances were in very good condition. We REALLY appreciated the "extras" - coffee, soap, coffee, paper towels, trash bags & coffee -etc. Also got to see: 1 deer, 1 grey fox, 1 dobson fly (creepy, but cool) and 6 turkeys. Enjoyed our stay very much - we would gladly stay here again.

Unique cabin in the heart of Eau Claire
My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful week at this one-of-a-kind property while our kids were at camp. Literally everything exceeded our expectations, from the attentive and responsive owners to the gorgeous renovations to the spectacular wooded acreage. The cabin itself was clean and cozy with everything we needed to feel at home. The property was secluded while still being in a convenient neighborhood. Deer and wild turkey greeted us outside the window each morning. We will 100% be coming back to stay here the next time we visit Eau Claire.

Local area (river, parks, woods) very accessible and interesting architecture in Eau Claire itself. Hoping to be able to return in the future.

If there were more than 5 stars available in this review, I would use them all. This is a wonderful property, very well stocked, super clean and the hosts are extremely welcoming. We could watch deer and wild turkeys from the windows. A lovely park is nearby with great views of the river. Looking forward to staying here again!

We really loved our stay in this great house in the woods! The house is in perfect condition, very clean, and with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The owners are very accommodating. A welcome addition was getting to see deer, a wild Turkey and a red fox just by looking out the window! Many thanks!

Serene Little Stay
Five high school friends meeting up to catch up. This three bedroom, one bath was extremely clean and the movie selection they had was incredible!!!
The hosts were extremely responsive whenever we had a question leading up to the weekend all the way thru the closure.
