Located in Nisswa, this attractive cabin for $438 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We are offering for rent our 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom very private west facing cabin and guest cabin on Roy Lake in Nisswa MN. Roy is a very clean and beautiful 350 acres lake and is part of the 15,000 acre Gull Lake Chain for endless boating and fun! This is the perfect property for families offering a completely remodeled & air conditioned property with a main floor Queen bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs offers a lake view loft with a full size futon leading to a large bedroom offering 2 queen beds and a full private bath. 10 feet from the main cabin you will find the guest cabin, also remodeled & air conditioned with a TV/living area area, single bunk beds, a queen bed in the living area and a private queen bedroom and another full bath. The outside gives you a mix of sun and shade, new large lakeside deck and lots of seating room around the fire-pit. There is a sand shoreline, swimming raft, dock, kayak, canoe and paddle boat available for your use. Located in a very nice bay facing west for great sunsets and extended afternoons. Our neighbors are full time retired residents so we really cater to families and those who will have fun and enjoy the property but not intrude on their relaxation either. Catch fish right off the dock while you visit with family and watch the kids swim!

Tim’s vacation spot was beyond our expectations! The house and guest cabin were clean and just right for space for 4 adults and 4 kids, the land around the property was beautiful and spacious for playing, relaxing and having fires, and the lake area is wonderful—I’ve never seen lake water as clear as it was around the dock at this place! The water was shallow enough for kids to play freely and adults to float and fish! Tim was great to work with, flexible and helpful! We’ll be back!!

We had a great stay at the Lake Roy cabin. From fishing to swimming we had a great time. Relaxed on the deck and in the yard. The main cabin and guest house were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very relaxing stay at the Lake Roy Property. Adults and a teenage had a great amount of space to relax and enjoy the great weather. We brought our bikes and were able to ride to downtown Nisswa and get on the trail, it was easy access to the trail. The property was beautiful and well taken care of. The front deck is the place to be to catch some sun, listen to the trees and loons playing in the bay. Very relaxing.

This cabin was even better than expected! It was perfect for a multi-generational long weekend away from the cities. The main cabin was more than enough space for my spouse and I and our 1 year old (also very child-friendly!), and the guest bunk was a great way for grandma to have some quiet, relaxing space to herself. Both were very clean and stayed cool even on 80+ degree days. The property included everything we needed from kitchen supplies to water toys, and even a baby gate. Location was amazing, with picture perfect sunsets looking over the lake from the fire pit and a huge well kept yard for our son to crawl around in all day. It was a super quick trip into town for groceries when needed, and so many restaurants and activities within a short drive (although we hardly ever left). We definitely hope to come back and stay here every year!

We rented this for our annual summer family escape! It was absolutely delightful! All the fun on the lake, fire pit, yard for games, deck for the adults to watch the lake, and well-stocked kitchen! Thanks to Tim and his family for sharing this property!!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this property! Tons of space for a group/family to spread out, fun water toys and a super clean beach/lake, picturesque view of the lake and sunsets, lots of gathering space indoor and out, and absolutely everything you need to feel all the comforts of home! Tim is very accommodating and absolutely fantastic to deal with! He happened to be out of town during the early part of our stay, but he made sure we had everything we needed, and his caretaker checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok too. There is a nearby grocery store, gas station, and liquor store, among all of the other nearby restaurants and activities. Our group ranged from 4 years old up to 63, and EVERYONE had a blast! We all wished we had more time to spend there, and we would absolutely go back!

Had a great time with the family up in Nisswa! This cabin was everything we were looking for. Down by the dock the water is shallow enough for the kids to walk around and play in the water and it’s so clear! We caught fish off the dock and out on the lake. There is a sand bar not too far away that we went to each day to hang out. Cabin was very cute and was a perfect size for our family. We had 6 adults and two kids. We used the guest house as well.

Great cabin and location. We had a good time catching sunnies and enjoying the quiet evenings by the fire. The guest cabin came in really handy for our family so we had plenty of room.
Tim was especially great to talk to with anything we needed.

Great place and location
There were 5 adults, 3 teens and 3 babies that stayed here for a mom/girls trip. The cabin had everything we needed along with a great deck facing the lake for the beautiful fall weather on Friday. Location is great being close to Nisswa and Baxter for shopping and eating out. Owner gave us a late check out to extend our short weekend on Sunday for a small fee… perfect ending to a great weekend to be lazy a Sunday morning . Fix breakfast and more visiting .
We would recommend this place. Plenty of room with the guest cabin for this many needing beds.

We found it easily, and loved the views and house. We didn't want to mess up the guest house and all wanted to stay in the house (7) of us. We doubled up in the beds. but we found we had to spit up next night as we had a couple of us who had no sleep due to snores. :( so it was so nice to have the guest house. We played games and went shopping in Nissaw. We came back and had a fire it was a perfect night for fire. Almost a full moon. Saw a couple deer and bunnies. It really was a good time just wish the time wouldn't go so fast. I would definitely recommend this VRBO. The owner was always available to answer any questions. Great place. :)

Great stay for a Fall golf weekend!
We had a great stay over the last weekend and thought the home was clean, as described and a great value! Appreciated the ample kitchen supplies and seasonings for breakfasts and dinners. Nearby to some great golf courses. Would stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay
Our family stayed at this lovely spot for a family wedding in Nisswa. It was very convenient & comfortable for our extended family which included one infant. The owners do a nice job of maintaining the houses & we had lots of fun! Thankyou!

Perfect for a 50th Birthday
We chose this property because of the location on lower Roy Lake. It’s a great property, incredibly clean with plenty of places to sleep. The bunkhouse is fantastic and Tim the property owner made us feel right at home. The whole process was very simple. Highly recommend.

The cabin was super clean. The location was beautiful. Tucked in a wooded section of Brainerd on Roy Lake within minutes of Grandview. Deer visited us each evening as we sat on the deck. Highly recommended. We will return.
