About this condo rental
Nestled in Outer Banks, this lovely condo for $160 per night is a great choice for your next break. If you love the sound of the ocean, and the feel of sand between your toes, and seeing both gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, you will love Sea Glass! When you arrive in our private community, you will find ample parking and an elevator to take you and your luggage upstairs to our condo. We think you will be very comfortable in our remodeled condo. In the master bedroom there is a new king size bed with a private bathroom featuring a walk in shower and a queen size bed in the second bedroom with a second bathroom. Each bedroom has its own television. Our kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and utensils where you can make your favorite meals. We have two coffee makers, a traditional and Keurig. We have a one-of -a -kind dining room table that seats four, plus seating for two at the bar. We provide a washer and dryer in the unit. To make your vacation more enjoyable, we provide all of your bedding and bath linens. We do not make up the bed, but all of your clean sheets are there for you. That way you know your sheets are clean and fresh for you. All we ask is that you wash them and throw them in the dryer before you leave. We also provide a starter bag with toilet paper, dish and laundry soap, and a few other items to get you started on the right track. On the front deck we also provide some basic beach gear such as chairs, boogie board, and sand toys for the kids. Our deck has fantastic views of the ocean and pool area. Coffee does taste better in the morning with an ocean view.What makes our deck unique is the lanai style, where you can still enjoy the views even if it's raining. The south-facing deck is perfect in the summer, breezy and cool....a perfect place for relaxing with a beverage with your fellow vacationers. Walk to the ocean in seconds via our walkway to the beach, or take a 5 minute stroll to the Pamlico sound across the street. Our condo complex has great amenities, including a pool, fish cleaning station, private outdoor showers and additional parking for boats and jet skis. We are always upgrading the condo. We have added a new king size bed in the master, new dressers and televisions in each bedroom, new living room furniture, new patio furniture on both decks, new washer and dryer, dishware, pots and pans and new decor. Whether you are seeking an adventurous or relaxing vacation, Rodanthe has it all! The island has the best surfing, kite boarding, stand-up paddling, and windsurfing on the east coast! For folks who enjoy fishing, Rodanthe pier is within walking distance, you can surf fish off of the beach, or even book a deep-sea fishing adventure with various anglers on the island. If you are thinking more about general lollygagging (Relax. You're on vacation!), this is also the best place ever - take long walks, enjoy the sounds of the ocean from the private deck, or relax by the pool. Once you experience Rodanthe, you will want to come back year after year! RENTAL POLICY: From June through August we rent Saturday to Saturday only. Other than that, there is a 3 night minimum for the remainder of the year. CHECK IN AND OUT TIMES: Check in is at 3pm and check out is 9am. REFUND POLICY: We know that things can happen. You can purchase trip insurance through VRBO that provides reimbursement if you can't make your trip. Our personal policy is that If you cancel your trip at least 60 days before your vacation, you will get a full refund minus the VRBO administration fees. If you give us 30 to 60 days notice, you get 50%, less than 30 days notice, there is no refund unless we can rent the condo out for that time period. If we do, you will also get a full refund minus the VRBO administration fees. For your piece of mind, trip insurance is an inexpensive option.

The property was exactly as promised and much more. The overall decorating showed much thought had gone into every space in the condo. Everything from kitchen to bathrooms to bedrooms was very well stocked for convenience and ease of use. The entire unit was very clean and well cared for. Overall it was a most pleasant stay at a very welcoming unit. We enjoyed the deck with a view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone wishing to visit Hatteras Island. I also would definitely rent this condo again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. I have absolutely no complaints. The beds and couches are comfy, the kitchen has everything you would need to cook a meal.
We enjoyed walking out to the beach. The property provided beach chairs, a cooler, wagon etc…whatever you would need for the beach. Plenty of extra towels, blankets, sheets. One thing to mention there isn’t any bathroom toiletries.
We enjoyed the Dough Shack which was super close for donuts and pizza besides this place there are other eateries within walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week. Everything at the condo was as described. Plenty of tools in the kitchen, beach supplies and linens. Ray was really helpful before our stay and communicated easily with us during our stay when I had concerns about the incoming tropical storm. Easy walk to the beach! We would definitely stay again. We had a great time.

Rodanthe is our favorite place to stay in the Outer Banks, and Ray and Edna’s condo was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation. My kids especially loved the pool and hanging out on the balcony. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the stairs and across the boardwalk. The condo was clean, and perfectly equipped with kitchen supplies and everything we needed. There were plenty of beach supplies including chairs and coolers. Another perk is the ice cream shop a short walk from the complex. Also Ray is an awesome host. He even called to check in with us before our arrival and answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next trip to the beach!

Great directions from Ray. Clean and tastefully decorated. Everything for cooking. Great views of the ocean. Everything was there and easily accessible right down to carts for loading, beach cart, chairs and umbrella. The access to the beach was temporarily moved due to the moving dunes, but easy walk. We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Glass. The condo was very clean and the owner was great regarding any communication. It is a partial ocean view with a campground next door. We didn’t mind, bc we are people watchers, lol. The bed was comfortable, but you may want to bring your own pillows. I doubled mine and was comfortable, my husband likes a better pillow- to each their own. The area is quiet which was great. You don’t have kids/loud people running around like a hotel. The condo is steps from the beach. Beach chairs and blankets were provided which was great. The kitchen was nicely stocked with the essentials to fix meals there.
We were very satisfied with staying here and would book again.

The teens and I spent much of the time walking the beach, looking for shells, etc. They also enjoyed the cornhole toss game and trivia cards. We all loved sitting on the balcony with a book/audiobook with a mug of tea or hot chocolate, listening to the ocean in the distance.
Ray and Edna, you provide a sense of home away from home for your guests and we appreciated the hospitality. If we are ever blessed with another opportunity to visit Rodanthe/OBX in the future, we definitely want to stay in Sea Glass! Thank you 😊

This just wasn't my weekend. I give high marks to the owner, he's great. It's a cute condo that I probably would have really enjoyed if it wasn't for loud neighbors and A LOT of people smoking weed. I don't necessarily care what other people choose to do, but I'm allergic to THC, so I didn't get to enjoy the balcony as much as i I would have liked. 🙄 However that isn't something that can be controlled by the owner, and I was very appreciative of their response and action after expressing my concerns.
Overall, I'd most likely rent from this owner and property again.

This was the perfect location for a nice get away. It was meticulously clean and very comfortable. The owners are wonderful people and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. This was our second stay at Sea Glass and look forward to future visits.

This is the BEST well stocked rental I’ve ever stayed in. I’m (and I did this time, but didn’t have to unpack them) used to having to bring my own supplies…hand soap, paper towels etc. Ray & Edna gave us a great starter package upon arriving. Everything was spotless! The beds were very comfortable… I didn’t even miss my own bed! There is a great deck where my grandchildren loved to play, and an easy walk to the beach. We loved our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We have stayed multiple times at this condo. Ray is very easy to get in touch with and to respond. There are starter items including paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent etc. Ray and Edna have done several updates over the years which just makes the place even nicer. I would highly recommend staying here.

This condo is fantastic! It has an ocean view, well equipped and organized kitchen, cute Beach decor, VERY comfortable beds.
The owner also provided a nice reusable tote with some necessities like dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap...We could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Location to the Ocean was easy and convenient. The condo had everything we needed. The goody bag with dawn trash bags and cascade was nice. Having plenty of linens and towels with beach chairs definitely was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and plan our meals. The washer and dryer was convenient too. We had a wonderful stay at the condo in Rodanthe NC! The condo was perfect location to the beach, sound and restaurants. They thought of everything as far as beach supplies and the kitchen had everything you need to prepare all types of meals. We would highly recommend staying here!
