This VRBO is in a great location. I had never stayed in this part of Hilton Head. It was an easy bike-ride, drive or walk to the beach as well as the main parts of downtown HH. However, it was secluded enough where you will have a peaceful experience. It is spacious, clean & comfortable. The host, Melanie, provided all the details needed for a seamless check-in & check-out!

A short walk to the beach and close to Coligny Plaza, this unit has a great location. Not for the mobility challenged, this 3 story condo has 3 bedrooms (2 with king beds, a rare find!) and 2 baths. Furnishings are fine and kitchen is stocked with basic cookware, etc. The complex and this unit are showing their age, but the owners plan a remodel early next year.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful and generous in dealing with an AC issue we had while there. She communicated well and helped to get the AC working again as quickly as possible. Pros: Responsive and gracious host, location with quick walk to beach, bike trail and lots of other perks in the neighborhood (almond croissants at the "Coffee Shop near Me" are out of this world and worth the bike ride!), restrooms near the beach, bike storage, lovely shaded pool, comfortable beds, useable grill with propane, beach wagon and chairs. Cons: The furniture in the unit is not what is pictured. It's older and a little more dingy in person. The unit is wonky, for instance you can't open the door all the way to the bathroom because the washer is in the way. Sloping floors, etc. The carpet is very dingy, esp on the stairs. The beach gear is helpful but it is very old, rusty, and several broken chairs. The kitchen is a bit grimy in all the drawers, nothing is organized and scant on glasses, bowls, etc. The main level deck is just very dingy and not at all pleasant to spend time on. The upstairs deck was cleaner and better cared for. There are no hangers in the closets which isn't a big deal just another one of those things a rental should have. Finally, the "cabana" described near the beach for SeaScape users is a really dingy outdoor restroom. It was not very clean, and very small, not really big enough for changing, and no outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, though there was an old pipe that looks like there was one there at one time. However, this is not a reflection of the individual unit, but the community ammenities, but should be described more accurately in the listing. Overall we were satisfied with what we got for the rates, but compared to many other rentals we've been in, I couldn't give this a 5 star review.
