What a GREAT place to spend your vacation.
Enjoy this ***COMPLETELY REMODELED & UPDATED*** single family home in the family friendly Lawton Woods community located in beautiful Sea Pines. Lawton Woods is conveniently located to all Sea Pines amenities yet provides a tucked away secluded retreat from plantation activities. Take an early morning walk on the nature trail located just outside the back door and fully experience nature as this beautiful home backs up to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. All this and of course easy access to the beach, golf, tennis, and Harbour Town via Sea Pines bike trails.
Main living area is spacious with plenty of natural light provided by a large sliding glass door and two skylights. Large entertainment center houses a large screen HDTV and DVD player with a disk reader so you can replay the day's activities from your digital camera photos. A large Sofa and Love Seat, along with an Oversized Chair provide plenty of space to stretch out relax, watch TV, read a book, or surf the web via high speed wireless internet access on your wifi enabled device.
Master Bedroom has King Bedroom suite, 42' flat panel TV, private bath with granite countertop and double patio door with access to a private patio.
Second Bedroom has Queen Bedroom suite, 42' flat panel TV, adjacent access to full bath with granite countertops.
Third Bedroom has bunk beds and day bed with pull out. This room comfortably sleeps 4 kids or young adults. With the day bed and a 42' flat panel TV with DVD player, this room also doubles as a great kid's hangout/playroom.
Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of granite countertop space, stainless steel appliances, huge granite sink, and a 28' inch flat panel TV, making this a great space to prepare family meals.
Dining area has two tables and comfortably seats 8 with chairs and table leaves to expand to accommodate up to 12. This configuration is perfect for family meals - seats everyone together - yet allows young and old to hold their own conversations or interact with one another.
The house has a full size front load washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board.
Private backyard provides easy access to nearby lake (200 yards away) and is a great space to relax and unwind on the patio complete with patio furniture. This area seats 8 and is easily expandable to 10. Side yard has a grill, an additional seating area with Adirondack chairs, and a firepit. These areas have easy access to the living room and kitchen - perfect for grilling and eating under the stars!
Guests are welcome to use our bikes to explore the area (security deposit required).
Guests also have access to Sea Pines amenities including the beach club & the Plantation golf club, equestrian center, forest preserve, Harbour Town, and more.
Just imagine your day.... Wake up in a beautiful house, make a cup of coffee to enjoy on the new backyard patio while overlooking the Nature Preserve, take a quick walk over to the Beach or the Equestrian Center. Return to plan the rest of your day. Will it be a bike ride to Harbour Town or the Beach Club for lunch? A round of Golf? Maybe some tennis or sea kayaking? Nice place, no complaints. Plenty of space and the home was well cared for. It's right next to the Sea Pines Nature Preserve too. I rode my bike all over the area, very bicycle friendly area. Be sure to check out Bluffton, a lot of history there especially old town. You can fish in the local lakes/ponds but beware of the gators. Also take caution driving at night anywhere in Sea Pines, or HH for that matter. Very dark and in my opinion dangerous. Very limited visibility due to the "no light pollution " theory.

First, this was a great house! The owner was great. Plenty spacious and dog friendly. Our doodle was happy to walk the trail behind the house. Know it was a 23 minute walk to the beach. So if you have littles use a wagon or stroller! We used the public trail, did not try to use the Sea Pines club house so cannot review that. We did use the grill, great that it was there. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a charcoal grill. So we had to buy charcoal and lighter fluid. So that was a little pricey. The beds were ok. Pillows a little thin but quite acceptable. Tvs worked fine. We didn't use the internet. The only reason for 4 stars, the back patio walkway pavers are very uneven so made it hard to walk on. It was also quite dirty out there could definitelyuse a spring clean. All the chairs can use a good cleaning. The patio door did not seem to lock well but they had a little wood piece to make sure it was closed. We had visitors of deer, lizards and squirrels daily. Oh and the little pond up the trail had a gator give me and the dog a startle. She jumped back and I jumped when he dashed back to the water. I would stay here again as the location was great. We had our cousins visit that live on the island and there are 2 parking spots so thats a bonus. Grocery store was just at the entry of Sea Pines. When we got ready to leave we did have to follow a list of cleaning up. Not sure I ever had to strip sheets b4. But we did it. Thanks again!

This is our second time staying here and everything was perfect. It is clean, very comfortable and updated. We saw deer on the back patio. We recommend staying here 100%!

We arrived at check in time of 4pm and had not received the entry code by email and despite messaging host three times by voice mail and email, we had no response. We called corporate VRBO who contacted the host and we were finally able to access the property. Very stressful after long drive. The property was fine although a bit dark.
