Situated in Avon, this attractive condo for $190 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our Condo is located on Spencer Creek and Pamlico Sound, it has the most breath taking views of the Sound from the balcony and master bedroom. This cozy condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the third floor overlooking Pamlico sound. Ocean views and beautiful sunrise from front deck. The sunsets at night are magnificent from the back balcony. Watch the wind surfing and kite boarding on the sound from balcony. There is a TV in both bedrooms. The living room has TV, DVD and stereo. Cable and Wireless internet 'WIFI' is also provided. Books, games and movie collection for family fun. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, small appliances. There is a new range and new dishwasher for 2018 season. Relax or swim at private pool. Rent or bring your own kayak. Ocean Air water sports is just next door and rents jet ski, kayak, paddle boards and other water sport items. Early morning walk on beach or Early Ocean swim! Just step across street to the beautiful Avon beach. Our pier on Spencer Creek is perfect for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. 4- wheel drive beach access is just up the road. Side walks are a new addition to this area. Great for daily walks or a day of shopping in gift shops and beach shops. Enjoy a morning bike ride. Bring your bike or rent a bike and store in ground floor storage closet. Several beach rental stores are close for bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and surf boards. Items can be delivered to condo. Fish cleaning table and laundry room on site. Outdoor shower located next to pool. On site Grill and picnic area. Grocery shopping at Food Lion just 5 min. up the road. 3 blocks away is DQ for the evening Ice Cream trip. Great Restaurants along Hwy 12. Ketch 55, Bros Sandwiches, Oceanea, Mad Crabber and many more. Coffee shops, Ice cream stores, Kitty Hawk Kites, Life is good and other gift stores all in walking distance. This Condo is serviced by Hatteras Helping Hands as the cleaning service and repair service. Bed linens will be supplied. This will be included in quoted rental fee. Hatteras Helping Hands can also supply towels, concierge service , grocery shopping and delivery services for a reasonable fee. Information is on Hatteras Helping Hands web site. Note: For pier fishing on property, temporary inexpensive fishing licenses are required by NC Fish and Game . Licenses are available in many local stores.

What a great location and cute condo with lots of characther! So great to be able to walk to the beach and the sound and enjoy sinrise from the front deck and sunset from the back deck!

My family and I had a perfect week staying in this condo. It had everything we needed (except towels of any kind, make sure you pack them) and had easy access to the beach. We loved enjoying the pool and even had it to ourselves frequently. The stairs did get to be a bit tiresome after long days and walks on the beach, so if you have issues with stairs I would keep that in mind. The view from the balcony was perfect and I enjoyed it most mornings and nights. Overall I saved the property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place with all the amenities one could need for a week away from home.

First time to OBX and we are so glad that we chose Dave and Jeanne Dugan's condo to stay at. Truly beautiful views morning and night! Contacted Jeanne and she was really responsive! We realy appreciated that! Condo was really nice! Quiet and so relaxing! Just what we needed! We did not want to leave! Avon was a great town to stay in! Quiet, food was great and really just a small drive away from many attractions. We walked right up street for breakfast many mornings. Kitty Hawk Kites and ocean rental place right next door. Already checked to see if they had any other weeks available this summer!

Gorgeous view and very well kept condo
This was the first time to the outer banks and I must say we will never go to Myrtle again for our yearly vacation. The drive was a little longer to the outer banks but absolutely worth it! The condo was clean and stocked with almost everything you could think of. The owners of the property couldn’t have made it an easier stay at their property!

Comfortable stay
Condo is very homey and looks to have had some updates done. Back porch area is nice with partial view of the Sound thru next row of houses. Unit is on third floor which gives you 40 steps to climb but does give you better views.

We love our stay
The place is very nice and welcoming. The location is close to the beach and Ocean Sports which you can rent kayak and SUP. We could see beautiful sunset from our balcony. Outdoor pool is right by the building and it's usually not many people, it felt like our private pool. The host, Jeanne, was quick to respond any of my text and question. My son accidentally broke two bowels in the kitchen, when I informed Jeanne, she told us it's ok, and didn't charge us a fee. I would highly recommend this place who wants to go to Outer Banks.

The only suggestion I can make is somehow to install a drainage system in the parking lot. Because there was so much rain there was constant flooding in the parking lot. Other than that I can’t think of anything else. We will visit again but this time during a better week or month

It was probably the highlight of the trip for them;) It was warm, clean, and often times we were the only ones there. There was also pool toys available that made it extra fun. We appreciated the availability of beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards. There was a very casual feel about the place that we enjoyed. The other people staying there were friendly as well. The kids enjoyed walking the dock and looking for crabs and fish. The condo itself was clean and had almost everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. We remembered to bring bath towels but forgot dish and hand towels. We didn't need them but it was nice that were games stocked in the closet just in case. We loved the view from the balcony and spent a lot of time out there especially in the morning and at night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Better than the pictures!
We cannot speak highly enough about this rental! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights with our 11 year old and 3 year old and it was absolutely perfect!
The place is extremely clean, check in was effortless, the condo itself was beautiful, I kept saying “wow!” as I walked around as the pictures on the listing really do not give this place justice. We absolutely loved staying here— absolutely would stay again in a heartbeat if we’re in Avon again.
Ps- I loved that I did not have to do any toddler proofing when we arrived! Added bonus! :)

However, we made do and did not contact the owners. I'm sure they would have made accomodations.
Overall, we loved this unit and this area of OBX!!!

Restaurants abound nearby, and major attractions like the Hatteras lighthouse, The Lost Colony show, and the Wright Brother memorial are within 20 minutes to an hour away. Despite the closeness of these things, Avon is not highly commercialized. The pool was clean, and we had it to ourselves for the three days we were there. The beach is a short walk away (although walking over those dunes in soft sand is a workout). :-) The lockable storage area contains beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella -- and it's large enough to store a couple of bicycles as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

2nd visit was just as great as the first !
This is second time we rented this condo. We love the property and the area. Everything was clean and neat. We cooked a lot on the grill out front and in the room because of the covid requirements. The kitchen is well stocked.
The host of the property did a great job communicating with us on the rental We had already had to cancel a prior reservation because of the restrictions and we were just so glad this worked out.
The view from the back deck is always amazing and picture perfect. We look forward to visiting here again in the future. Avon is a great destination and we truly enjoyed our stay !

Great place
We definitely enjoyed our stay. The unit was great and as advertised. Furnished well, comfortable bed, nothing broken, cleaned well and had everything we needed. The only criticism would be that we didn’t realize from the ad how far and how difficult the path was to the beach. If you are not carrying much the walk was fine, but to bring enough stuff to spend the day on the beach, like a cooler and chairs it is pretty difficult. The boardwalk is long and very narrow and then you have to go up over the dunes which is soft sand and hard to walk through if you are carrying things. This is not the owners fault obviously, but may be worth noting so people know in advance, especially if they are older or have a lot to bring to the beach. Otherwise we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Our trip would have been excellent I’m sure but the weather was horrible. It literally rained the whole time so we didn’t get to enjoy our stay in Avon like we had planned. Condo was good though.
