About this house rental
Nestled in Ocean Pines, this lovely house for $238 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Worcester County Rental License #1291. We are located on a West Ocean City canal with access to Assawoman Bay and the Atlantic. Fish, crab and swim from our new dock, use our canoe to explore the back bays or tie up your boat after gathering clams or flounder for supper. Relax in a quiet waterfront community within minutes of everything the OC area has to offer without the hassle of the island madness. We welcome up to 6 guests, including children. WE DO NOT ALLOW smoking anywhere on the property, overnight guests who are not listed on the rental agreement, loud parties or disruption to the tranquility of the neighborhood. We are open from April 15th through Oct. 15th. Only 15 minutes to Assateague Island, the best of both vacation worlds. Off-street parking for four vehicles, and separate off-street boat trailer area. 2 queens, 2 twins. New SS appliances. New water treatment system in 2020. WIFI. HD cable tv in LR and master bedroom. Screened dining looks out at your own small beach, the bay, and OC skyline. BBQ in the back yard or enjoy dozens of excellent restaurants on "this-side-of-the-bridge". There is a $50 pet fee (dogs only). Large and/or aggressive breeds or other animals not considered. Owners live next door and are very attentive to your needs. A cleaning fee of $125.00 is included for all guests and assumes a reasonable degree of care is shown our property. If extensive work is required prior to the arrival of the next guest, an "excessive cleaning" fee will be charged and deducted from the security deposit. Guests must provide their own linens and towels. A rental agreement will be sent for your signature and is a requirement for rental.

It was perfect. Clean, spacious and had all the conveniences to feel at home. The location was 5 mins from OC over the Route 50 bridge. The owners live right next door but they were invisible unless we needed something. They were immediately available for the few questions we had. We met them briefly and they were so nice and welcoming. Our week was perfect and peaceful. If you didn’t feel like going into OC you could spend your day crabbing and clamming right from the dock at the back of the house, or you could go for a canoe ride as well. They have kayaks too but we didn’t get to that with all the other things we did for vacation. I would recommend the rental to anyone looking for a family oriented vacation!

We enjoyed this property. The only drawback is the shallowness of the channel to get the boat out to the bay, but it's not like the owner can change that! We will probably rent this again next year, if it is available.
It would be nice if the screened in porch had a ceiling fan with a light. We would have spent more time out there if there was light.

I've stayed in this neighborhood continuously over 10 yrs and had some interuptions because of COVID. We're finally back again 1st time after COVID and just like always enjoyed our stay. Great neighborhood, quiet and close to everything. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Our 8 yr old made friends with the hosts' grandkids and learned crabbing from the little kidos. Place is very clean and just very cozy for our family. We brought our 2 dogs also. We all enjoyed our stay...wish we could stay longer. Thanks for accommodating us. Would definitely again.

Overall, this house provided us the basic amenities needed for a nice family vacation. The canal front was nice to relax in the mornings and the evenings and travel to Ocean City or Assateaque Island was within 10 minutes. Only suggestion I would have is to obtain a water filtration system for the home, as the smell was very potent in the water. The hosts were very accommodating and let us check in early as well. This dog friendly home met our needs overall.

Nice cozy spot for sitting, relaxing and playing outside by the water. Enjoyed the resident ducks walking around and swimming in the canal. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Would go back for sure.

Unfortunately, the music festival we were going to attend was cancelled and a hurricane and associated storm surge cut our stay short by 2 days. It just seemed everything was working against us.

Perfect location. House had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood & house is on a canal. A two minute paddle in our kayaks & we were in the bay seeing various wildlife. Owners were very friendly & their daughter told us how calm the bay is if we go out very early morning. We did & it was beautiful & peaceful. View of Ocean City was pretty at night from porch or dock. Just a few minutes from Ocean City & Assateague Island. We would stay here again!

This is the second time we have stayed at this home for a family vacation to West OCMD.
If you like a quiet safe neighborhood that is close enough to town the. This is the place for you.
We are a boating family so a dock on the canal is a must. The amenities at this home fit the bill perfectly for us.
The canal exit/entrance to the bay can be a little tricky. If you have a boat that requires depths greater than 2’ low tide would be a No Go for getting in or out.

Charming cottage. Loved the kitchen lots of room and plenty storage, easy to work in. I loved having coffee in the morning in the screened in porch watching the sun rise. Nice quiet neighborhood. convenient location. Owner was great great and made sure we had everything we needed.

We can’t say enough good things about this house and our stay this past week!! It’s tough to find a pet-friendly rental, and even tougher to find one that’s clean, and actually resembles the listing. This house was everything we could have asked for - spacious, very clean, exactly as listed and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood in West OC. My favorite spot was the Adirondack chairs in the sand by the water- so relaxing!
Our hosts Rich and Marita live next door - they’re very friendly and available if you need anything during your stay. We didn’t need anything as the house was obviously well maintained and stocked with the essential items you’d expect.
We look forward to staying here again!!

We enjoyed our stay. Owner lives right next door. Very convenient if problems occur. Plenty of parking, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. House has all the amenities, a screened porch and a dock on the canal. West OC has sulfur-smelling water--can't be avoided. Owner treats with filters and softeners, but water still stinks. We drank and cooked with bottled water.

This property is most excellent. The house itself was very clean, very polished and new looking. Location was excellent, and amenities quite good. Did have an issue with the water but owner called service and it was fixed. Wi Fi is spotty in parts of the house; best in living room. Owner was very responsive to any questions or issues (all of which were minor). Neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant. Quite close to OC proper, yet far enough away to allow for peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The house is roomy and comfortable. We parked our boat right on the dock. The screened in porch was awesome. The only issue is the smelly water but in that area that is a common problem.

We were very impressed and satisfied with our stay at this property. We enjoyed the canal views and the kids thoroughly enjoyed playing in the sandy area. The screened in porch was great for evening dinners and early morning breakfasts before heading to the beach. The location was perfect for our family. We had previously owned a house on a canal in NJ and recently sold it. I missed it so much and remembered all the water activities we enjoyed so much. We had all that with an easy boat launch readily accessible, had the paddleboard and kayak to clam with at the end of the canal, caught blueclaw crabs off the perfect low dock, and so much more. The grandbabies enjoyed the mini beach sand and being here with us! The closed in porch is exactly perfect! Cool nights with no bugs! This was so perfect for us and well enjoyed. Rich was so informative and helpful in helping us navigate the boat back to the house. Nothing beat this stress free vacation, thank you Rich and Margita!

What a wonderful early summer vacation. Rich and Marita were kind, helpful, and great neighbors. Our kids enjoyed the sandy space by the water and looking at the wildlife (fish, crabs, ducks, rabbits). We also took advantage of the crab traps and had an amazing steamed crab dinner one night.Being close to Ocean City but far enough away meant we got to take advantage of the beach and mini golfing, but didn’t have to deal with the noise and hectic night life. Lovely development with loads of families - we enjoyed taking walks with the kids while they rode bikes. And most of the neighbors were friendly and engaged in conversation while out and about.We will certainly be going back!

My husband and I care for two special needs individuals and needed a change of space. We all had a really fun and peaceful time here. The home was just like it is portrayed in the advertisement. It was a cute, clean place. The property managers were such wonderful, friendly people. They asked what types of things all of us were interested in and pointed us in the right direction to be able to access each activity. We would love to be able to return here soon, for another vacation.

A wonderful place to spend your vacation in OC. Its close enough to be at the beach/boardwalk in 5 min and then back to peace and quiet away from the crowds. House is clean and comfortable and right on the canal. Rich is attentive to your needs, laid back and great to talk to. We will be back with our boat!
